Cement concrete of specified grades at all locations & depths for the following works using graded stone aggregate of 20mm maximum size including necessary form work, machine mixing, transporting, placing in position consolidation, finishing, curing etc. complete as per specifications, drawings & as directed by the Engineer in charge. Note:- Nominal Reinforcement if provided shall be measured & paid under relevent item.

REINFORCED CEMENT CONCRETE Reinforced Cement Concrete of grade M-30 in foundation and plinth at all levels and locations conforming to I.S.456-2000 latest using 20mm. maximum size down graded stone aggregate including machine mixing, conveying, placing in position, mechanical consolidation, finishing, curing etc. all complete as per specifications and drawings and as directed by the Engineer in charge, for the following.. Extra for providing RMC (Ready Mixed Concrete) conforming to IS :4926 (latest) in lieu of conventional RCC and PCC items supplied by approved RMC manufactures for all type of structural elements/ RCC/ PCC elements including transporting, pumping etc. complete as per instruction of the Engineer in charge. Notes:- i) The contractor shall obtain prior approval for RMC manufacturer from Engineer in Charge in writing. ii) The rate shall apply for all levels and locations including all type of structure etc. iii) Extra for RMC in lieu of conventional RCC and PCC of any grade mentioned elsewhere shall be measured and paid under this item for substructure works.
Providing, erecting, fixing in position, striking / removing and cleaning steel /timber shuttering & centering for formwork in foundation, plinth at all locations for all geometrical shapes in plain, curved surfaces of structural / RCC elements including chamfers, splays, keys, wedges, props, rails, bracings, brackets, cutting holes for pipes etc., providing & applying approved form oil on all surfaces of formwork coming in contact with concrete including close hacking of all exposed concrete work after removal of form work, all materials, labour etc. all complete as per specifications, drawings and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. Note:- i) Area of form work in contact with concrete shall only be measured for payment and stop boards for construction joints will not be measured for payment. ii) The rate of formwork shall include all type of structural / RCC elements and geometric shapes including circular and any other curved surfaces.
Reinforcement for RCC work by using re-bars supplied by Department on chargeable basis including lifting the steel from Dept. Store, loading, transporting, unloading , stacking of various diameters as required at site of work, decoiling, straightening, cutting, bending, placing in position at all locations & levels and binding with 18gauge, soft drawn annealed steel binding wire including carrying out various tests as required etc. all as per specifications, drawings & as directed by the E-I-C.
With Thermo Mechanically Treated bars of grade Fe-500D supplied by Department. Note:- The cost of binding wire shall be borne by the contractor and binding wire shall not be measured for payment. The Reinforcement shall be supplied by Department at the rate as specified in schedule B.
Brick masonry work in foundation and plinth, cable pits, trench, steps etc. using well burnt bricks from approved lot, of class designation 3.5 (classification as per IS 1077-1992 and min. average compressive strength not less than 3.50N/mm2 ) in C.M 1: 6 to correct line, level and plumb including raking out joints/simultaneous flush pointing with cement mortar 1:4, curing etc. complete as per specifications, drawings and as directed by Engineer in charge. Note:- i) One brick wall thickness shall be considered as 230 mm & lesser wall thickness if any shall be made up accordingly by the contractor by applying cement mortar of mix 1:4 in proper line, level & plumb without any extra cost to the department. ii) The rate shall include cost of making the brick masonry to all geometrical shapes and sizes without any extra cost to the Department. (iii) The contractor shall get approved the samples of bricks from the Engineer-In- Charge before procurement on large scale and shall maintain the same for the entire work. iv) Necessary Openings/nitches/cut-outs, wherever required as per drawings and asked for by the Engineer-In-Charge, shall be provided by the contractor without any extra cost.
Providing 15mm thick Ready Mixed Internal Plaster (RMP) of approved make for internal faces of brickwork/concrete, cable pits, trenches, chambers, steps, surfaces for all walls, beams flush with walls, mullions etc. including preparation of the surface even and smooth to correct line, level, plain & plumb including rounding if necessary at all lead and locations on slope, plain & curved surfaces, curing, cleaning, scaffolding, complete all as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.
Disposing off the surplus excavated materials /debris by mechanical transport to the dumping areas as approved by MCGM out sideAnushaktinagar with all leads, lifts, loading, unloading, spreading as per specifications & as directed by the Engineer in Charge. Note:- i) Voids @ 20% for soils and 50% for soft / hard rock shall be deducted from fully loaded truck measurements to arrive at the net quantity for payment, in case direct measurement is not possible. ii) Royalty for excavation, transportation, dumping, filling of earthwork, debris etc. including obtaining permission from statutory authority, if any shall be borne by the contractor
Providing and laying dry rubble stone hard core soling of following consolidated thickness in sub base to floor and in plinth protection to required levels and lines with first quality rubble, hand set, well packed including filling the interstices with smaller stone chips, supplying & finishing / blinding the surfaces with approved blinding quality murrum including watering, consolidation etc. complete as per specification drawings & as directed by Engineer in charge.

Supplying and spreading pesticides CHLORPYRIPHOS or other chemical approved by central insecticides board as directed by the manufacturer and spraying the mixture uniformly by sprayer as pre-construction anti- termite treatment at the rate of 7.5 liters per sq.m. on vertical and 5 ltrs. per sq.m. on horizontal surfaces (or as directed by the manufacturer ) within the trenches, 50% of the emulsion to be filled in the holes made in trenches at 150mm. centre to centre etc. complete as per IS 6313 Part-II, (The payment will be made on the basis of plinth area measurement only at ground floor/stilt area for all stages of operation and vertical face will not be measured for payment) all complete as per specifications, drawings and as directed by the Engineer in charge. Note:- a) This item shall be executed through MCGM approved PEST control agency who shall be a valid member of Indian Pest Control Association, approved by Central Insecticides Board. b) The contractor shall have to furnish ten years guarantee in the prescribed proforma as per Section-10 (iv) Conditions and clauses of contract-2008, to maintain the anti-termite treated area/structure free from termite. c) Prior approval of Engineer in Charge shall be obtained after testing the chemical for antitermite to be used and shall be tested in approved laboratory and to be submitted to Engineer in Charge. Cost of testing shall be included in the rates quoted.
Providing random rubble masonry with rough dressed hard stone below plinth in foundation, plinth, retaining wall etc. in ready mix cement mortar 1:6 including through stone, header stone, bond stone, quoins etc. well packed including filling the interstices with smaller stone chips, striking, raking out joints & finishing the joints, including scaffolding, curing etc. all complete as per specifications, drawings and as directed by the Engineer in Charge.
Cement pointing 20mm thk. to random rubble masonry wall with readymix cement mortar 1:3 using RMM including raking out joints, pointing neatly and finishing the joints, curing, scaffolding etc. complete all as per specification, drawing and as directed by the Engineer in Charge.

Grinding the uneven joint of existing concrete surfaces of RCC elements including necessary chipping of uneven surface, finishing the surface by grinding machine to required line, level and plane to receive the finishing applications incuding removal and disposal of the chipped off materials to the specified locations etc. all complete as per specifications and as directed by Engineer in charge. Note:- Necessary care to be taken to avoid damages to the existing finishes, fittings & fixtures. Any damage to be made / damage caused during griding, shall be replaced without any extra cost to the department.

Providing, erecting fixing / centering, Shuttering work using ply board to obtain form finished concrete surfaces of F3 finish to ceilings at all heights & locations including single/multiple staging for all geometrical shapes in plane, curved surfaces of structural /R C C elements including chamfers splays, keys, wedges, props, rails, bracings, brackets, cutting hole for pipes etc. providing and applying approved form oil to all surfaces of form work coming in contact with concrete and skirting/removal of the same including finishing by filling form -tie - holes, removal of fins, ridges, and irregularities by grinding filling air holes, with sack rubbed finish cleaning up loose and adhering debris including all materials labour etc.complete as per specifications drawings and directed by Engineer in charge.
Supplying and erecting M.S. Double steel tubular scaffolding using 'H' frames of M/s. Acrow India (or) equivalent with horizontal and vertical rows @ suitable spacing as per I.S. specification suitably overlapped at junctions and cross braced wherever required securely tied, supporting the scaffolding with building members as per permitted by the Engineer-in Charge, including providing necessary safety belt and helmet to the workers and dismantling & taking back the scaffolding, safety belt and helmet after the repair works are completed all as per specifications and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. STEEL REINFORCEMENT WORK Reinforcement for RCC work including supplying steel bars of various diameters as required at site of work including loading, unloading, transporting, decoiling, straightening, cutting, bending placing in position and binding with 18 gauge, soft drawn annealed steel binding wire including carrying out various tests as required etc. all as per specifications, drawings & as directed by the E-I-C. Note:-Cost of binding wire shall be borne by the contractor & shall not be measured for payment.
Thermo Mechanically Treated bars of grade Fe-500 D manufactured by SAIL ,TATA STEEL, RINL, JSW only.
Removal of rust by wire brush /applying suitable chemical compound on existing dowel bars straightening and making them ready for doing concreting at site at any level as directed by EIC.

NOTES MASONRY WORK (a) The contractor shall get approved the samples of bricks from the Engineer-In- Charge before procurement on large scale and shall maintain the same for the entire work (b) Necessary Openings/nitches/cut-outs, wherever required as per drawings and asked for by the Engineer-In-Charge, shall be provided by the contractor without any extra cost. c) One brick wall thickness shall be considered as 230mm and half brick wall as 115 mm and lesser wall thickness if any shall be made up to the required dimensions by the contractor in CM 1:4 to proper line, level and plumb without any extra cost to the Department. d) The rate shall include cost of making the brick masonry to all geometrical shapes and sizes without any extra cost to the Department.

PART 3 : FLOORING WORK ( Please refer additional notes) Providing & laying at all floors & locations Vitrified tile Double charged (Glossy/ Matt/ Satin) as per approved design and pattern of approved manufacturers of sizes 600 x 600mm size and having thickness 8mm or as per manufacturer's specification, tiles conforming to IS 15622 in flooring/ skirting/ dado/ cladding at all floors and location, heights/ levels and lead in approved pattern and colour laid over Ready Mix Mortar bedding/ backing, including cleaning and preparing the surface for bedding, spreading the neat cement slurry, close jointed and grouted with matching coloured ready made cement grout and approved pigment as per manufacturer's specifications, finished to level, line, slope and plumb, cutting of tiles, wastage, making openings/ cut out if neccesary, final cleaning of surfaces, curing etc. all as per drawings, specifications & as directed by Engineer in charge. i)In flooring using tile of size 600 x 600mm laid over 20mm thick Ready Mix Mortar 1:4 bedding and spreading neat cement slurry by using minimum cement about 2kg/sqm prior to bedding and spreading cement paste using minimum cement of about 4.50kg/ sqm over bedding, including 3 mm thick and 8mm deep grout line using PVC spacers for creating true alignment and gap between vitrified tile wherever mentioned in drawing & the 3mm spacer joints filled with approved epoxy tile grout including providing and laying Durafloor protector XF 3mm thick sheet of M/s. Supreme industries/ equivalent over the whole vitrified tile cleaning the same before handing over without damaging the finished surface & making good if damaged, if any. ii) In skirting/dado/cladding using tiles of size 600X100mm/600mm x 600mm laid over 12mm thick Ready mix mortar 1:4 backing.

Cement concrete 50mm. thick in flooring with metallic hardner topping at all floors and locations, consisting of under layer of 38mm. thick cement concrete in grade 1:2:4 with 12mm. size aggregate and top layer 12mm. thick metallic concrete hardner wearing surface, cement being mixed with metallic flooring hardner of approved make in proportion of 4:1 (4 cement : 1 metallic floor hardner) by weight and cement hardner compound mixed with 6mm. downgraded stone aggregate in the ratio of 1:2 by volume including form work, consolidation finishing to required level, slope, curing including providing aluminium dividing strips of size 25x3mm for panels of about 2.00 sq.m size. etc. complete as per specifications & drawings and as directed by the Engineer in charge.
Cement plaster 20 mm thick in skirting and risers to steps with readymix cement mortar 1:4 using ready mix mortar finished smooth with a coat of neat cement including rounding of junction with floor where necessary, curing etc. complete all as per drawing, specifications and as directedby Engineer in charge.
Providing & laying machine cut & mirror polished Kotah stone flooring at all floor & location including stair case landing, connecting corridoor etc. at all floors and locations using readymix cement mortar bedding /backing, close jointed & grouted with matching cement slurry and finished to line, level/slope, cleaning, curing etc. as required, including cutting of stone slab, wastage, making cutouts, wherever required, machine polishing /handpolishing (where machine cannot have access) etc. complete all as per specifications, drawings and as directed by the Engineer in charge.
In flooring with machine polished kotah stone slab of size 575x575x 25mm thick laid over & including 20mm. thick readymix cement mortar 1:4 ( 1 cement : 4 coarse sand) bedding.
In skirting with machine polished kotah stone slab of size 575x100x20 mm thick laid over and including 12mm thick readymix cement mortar 1:4( 1 cement : 4 coarse sand) backing.
In slopped skirting with machine polished 20mm thick kotah stone laid over and including 12mm thick cement mortar 1:4( 1 cement : 4 coarse sand) backing.
Mirror Polishing and finishing of already laid Kotah stone flooring, skirting, treads & risers at all floors, as required, including machine polishing /hand polishing (where machine cannot have access) etc. complete all as per specifications, drawings and as directed by the Engineer in charge.

For tread 25mm unifrom thick in single piece in length up to 1250/1500mm(approx.) laid over 20mm thick readymix cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement :4 sand)bedding, including providing factory cut three Nos. of antiskid 5mm deep "V" shaped grooves including half round moulding of the edges etc. complete.
For risers 20mm thick in single piece(length up to 1250/1500mm approx.) laid over & including with 12mm thick readymix cement mortar 1:4(1cement :4 sand) backing.
Providing & laying machine cut and mirror polished kotah stone for treads/risers / steps / ramps etc. as mentioned below, laid over readymix cement mortar bedding/backing, close jointed and pointed with matching cement slurry and finished to line, level plumb etc. as required, including curing, cutting of stone slab, making cutouts, wherever required, wastage etc. to get true square edges and final hand polishing all as per specifications, drawings & as directed by the Engineer in charge.
16mm thick granite stone of approved quality jamb and facia for lift lobby in single piece of approved shade with 12mm thick ready mix cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement : 4 coarse sand).

PART 4: DOORS & WINDOWS (Please refer additional notes) Supplying , fabrication and fixing in position at all floors integrated bronze anodized glossy / matt finished [15 micron thick], approved shade aluminium extruded section for aluminium door / windows - sliding top hung/ fixed/adjustable louvers/ wall spans etc. as per drawing of approved manufacturers with extruded sections of Jindal / Hindalco sections with size and weights as shown in the drawing, for frames and shutters[including wastages if any] conforming to relevant I.S specifications with all approved bronze anodised aluminium fittings and accessories, locking arrangements, 2 / 3 rollers with ball bearings for sliding shutters of approved quality all as shown in the drawing, including providing and fixing aluminium channel beading/ glazing clips fixed with necessary bronze anodised screws, grouting the gap with silicon sealant etc. all complete generally as per drawings, specifications etc. all as directed by Engineer in Charge, but excluding the cost of glazing, which will be paid separately.

Providing and fixing following type of approved quality glass panes for doors/windows/ ventilators/ wall spans of M/s. Modiguard / M/s. Saint Gobain or approved equivalent and fixing with aluminium framework including fixing aluminium channel beading and adjustable louvers frame (to be paid under relevant item) and providing and fixing with 2 way EDPM gasketting, to ensure water and air tightness and neoprene cushions/ gasket accommodated in grooves, necessary bronze anodized screws etc., all complete generally as per drawings specifications and as directed by the Engineer in Charge.

Providing and fixing factory made 60 Minutes Fire Resistant non-metallic wooden solid not less than 50mm thick, asbestos free, Fully INSULATED composite fire resistant single leaf shutters conforming to BS:476, part 22, integrity, insulation and stability criteria as per IS:3614 Part 2, as per prototype tested & certified by CBRI Roorkee, suitable for mounting on door frames, all as per manufacturers specification and mounted in the grooves in the shutter on all sides or in the door frame or in both, (Fire Resistant certification as required by CFO shall be furnished by Manufacturer of Door Shutter), providing & fixing view panel and fixing shutters in position to pressed steel door frames/ wooden frames/ granite frames [door frames (choukhat) shall be paid separately under relevant item] at all floors by cutting/ planning if necessary including cost of fittings & fixtures as per drawing with wooden packing pieces if necessary including providing and fixing 1.0 mm thick decorative laminate sheet of approved colour, pattern & shade fixed on both sides etc. with approved adhesive for all surfaces including edges including cost of all materials, adhesives, labours, wastages if any, all complete as per specifications, drawings & as directed by Engineer in charge. Door Size (1.00 X 2.1/ 2.40 mtr) with single leaf shutter.
Extra for providing vision panel not exceeding 0.1 sqm in all type of flush door including fixing 6 mm clear float glass with necessary beadings/ lipping, painting the wooden surfaces , complete all as per specifications, drawings and as per direction of EIC.
Terrace Door Size (1.00 X 2.15 mtr) with single leaf shutter Partly panelled partly louvered with 2 hours fire rating. Wooden Louvers to be painted with fire retardant paint and 6" radius breakable glass cover over latch as shown in detailed drawing etc. all complete to the entire specification as per detailed drawing & as directed by the Engineer in charge.
Providing & fixing in position approved quality 2nd class teak wood architraves of finished section for the following sizes fixed to pressed steel frames of door/ cup board/MS doors at all floors as per drawing including providing and fixing M.S. self tapped screws at 600mm center, painting with two coats of synthetic enamel paint of approved make & colour over one coat of approved primer etc. all complete as per specifications, drawings & as directed by EIC.

Providing & fixing in position single /double leaves / folding type Galvanised pressed steel box type door shutter for electrical / telephone shaft / panel room etc. at all floors and locations of sizes as mentioned below consisting of 40x40x4 mm G.I. heavy duty square pipes for shutter frame with two middle stiffeners welded with 16 gauge G.I sheet, both side of square pipes, sheet and square pipes shall be galvanizing coating (class VIII of zinc coating), 120 g/ sqm as per IS 2629 (latest), MS sheet manufactured by M/s. PART 5: WATERPROOFING TREATMENT (Please refer additional notes) Providing and laying integral cement based water proofing treatment of the agency approved by department, including preparation of surface as required for treatment of roofs, terraces etc mixing with water proofing compound as per IS : 2645:2003, with average thickness of 115mm and minimum thickness at drain point as 65 mm. Following works are included in above item. a) Applying and grouting a slurry coat of neat cement using 2.75 kg/sqm. of cement admixed with proprietary water proofing compound over the RCC slab including cleaning the surface before treatment. b) Laying cement concrete using broken bricks/brick bats 25 mm to 100 mm size with 50% of cement mortar 1:5 (1 cement : 5 coarse sand) admixed with proprietary water proofing compound over 20 mm thick layer of cement mortar of mix 1:5 (1 cement : 5 coarse sand) admixed with proprietary water proofing compound to required slope and treating similarly the adjoining walls up to 300 mm height including rounding of junctions of walls and slabs. c) After two days of proper curing applying a second coat of cement slurry admixed with proprietary waterproofing compound. d) Finishing the surfaces with 20 mm thick water proofing compound and finally finishing the surface to receive the China Mosaic waterproofing treatment. e) The whole terrace so finished shall be flooded with water for a minimum period of two weeks for curing and for final test. All above operations to be done in order as per specification and as directed by the Engineer in Charge.
Extra for additional thickness of brick bat coba over and above standard average thickness of 115 mm. for effective slope wherever required.
Providing cement based water proofing treatment by 'Injection & Surface' method of the agency approved by the dept. cement based water proofing treatment of 50 mm. and 25mm. thick for the floor and walls respectively of the over head water tank on terrace, finished perfectly smooth to correct line, level and plumb including preparing the existing surfaces, necessary scaffolding, curing etc. complete as per waterproofing agency's specifications and testing water tank for the water tightness and rectification of defects if any to render the outer surface bone dry etc. complete as per specifications, drg. & as directed by the Engineer in charge
Providing China Mosaic water proofing over concrete/plastered surface of horizontal, vertical, sloped/ curved surfaces, rounded vatas, sharp corners, junctions etc., using broken pieces of single approved colour ceramic tile laid over and including 20mm thick cement mortar 1:3 screed mixed with approved waterproofing compound @ 2% by weight of cement, cost of all materials, labour, curing, breaking the tiles to the pieces of required size and shape, laying / fixing the tile pieces to the required line, slope, levels etc., providing extra screed as required for quick & easy flow of water, curing etc., at all heights including necessary scaffolding, cleaning the surface initially with saw dust and finally with acid all as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
Providing water proof Ready Mix Mortar 1:4 mixed with Con-Bond Chemical of M/s.Essen Construction Chemicals or equivalent @ 10kg/ bag of cement including racking out of the joints 25 mm wide x 25mm depth, cleaning, mixing the mortar in appropriate ratio, filling in the 25 wide x 25 mm deep racked out joints of RCC, brick work, also extending the mortar projection with about 50mm wide, 10 to 12mm thick over the joints,curing, double scaffolding wherever required etc. complete all as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer- in- charge.

PART 6: PLASTERING WORK (Please refer additional notes) Providing Ready Mixed Internal Plaster(RMP) of thickness mentioned below at all height, floors, slopes and with CM 1:4 mix locations on plain or curved surfaces including rounding wherever required, including preparation of the surfaces even & smooth to correct line, level, plain and plumb including scaffolding, hacking wherever necessary, curing etc. complete as per manufacturer's specifications and as per instructions of Engineer in charge.
6 mm thick internal plaster in single coat for exposed concrete surfaces, soffits of all slabs and beams soffit of staircase waist slab etc. internal brick / concrete surfaces./ concrete surfaces for all walls and beams.
15 mm. thick internal plaster for internal brick / concrete surfaces for walls and beams flush with walls, mullions etc.
Providing Sand faced external plaster using Ready Mix External plaster with CM 1:4 mix of approved make at all heights and locations including scaffolding, preparation of the surface, hacking wherever necessary, finishing and rendering with sponge to correct line, level, plumb, curing, plaster fluting ( plaster in steps) etc. wherever necessary, complete as per specification & drawings and as directed by E-I-C.
Providing 20 mm thick external plaster using Readymix cement mortar 1:4 mix of approved make at all heights and locations including scaffolding, external faces of brickwork/concrete surfaces(back coat and finishing coat of 10 mm. thick each) with water proofing agent @ 2% by weight of cement including preparation of the surface, close hacking wherever necessary curing, cleaning at all heights & locations complete, all as per specifications including forming drip moulds wherever necessary and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge
Providing 12mm thick plaster using ready mix external plaster with CM 1:4 mix of approved make at all height and location including scaffolding, for external face of independent concrete surface in single coat including prepartion of the surfaces, Close hacking wherever necessary, curing, cleaning at all heights & locations complete all as per specifications including forming drip moulds wherever necessary and as directed by the E-I-C.
Providing & fixing in position GI chicken wire mesh (Hexagonal / Diamond shape) of 12mm size hole, 22 Gauge of make "ARPITHA PLASTER MESH'' of M/s Arpitha Exports or at par quality with necessary "U" hooks, clips or nails at all floors and levels, wherever required to prevent development of cracks in plaster surfaces, as per specifications, drawings and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. Note:- Only area of chicken wire mesh provided shall be measured for payment.
Providing 15 mm thick external plastering at all levels using Ready mix plastering in CM 1:4 for pedestals, pipe supports, brick walls, stone masonry, concrete surfaces etc. with floating coat of neat cement, including preparation of the surface, curing, cleaning, scaffolding etc. complete all as per specifications and as directed at site by the Engineer-in-charge.
Extra over plastering items for making and finishing in matching plaster finish ( interior & exterior) grooves of following approximate sizes as per drawing in plaster at all floors and locations to proper line, level and plumb all as per specifications & drawings.

Providing vatas 150 x 150 mm at junction of walls and chajjas, canopies etc. with ready mix plaster win cement mortar 1:4 or as per manufacturer's specification, to match the surrounding plaster to the required profile including adding water proofing compound @2% by weight of cement, scaffolding, curing etc. complete as per specifications, drawings and as directed by the Engineer-in- charge.
Providing Rough cast plastering 25 mm thick for exterior masonry and concrete surfaces laid in 2 operations, base coat with Ready Mix 1:4 Cement mortar 15 mm thick and finishing coat with cement and gravel/stone chips in proportion of 1:3, 10mm thick at all height, floors, slopes and locations on plain or curved surfaces including rounding wherever required, including preparation of surface even & smooth to correct line, level, plain and plumb including scaffolding, curing etc. close hacking of concrete surfaces, addition of waterproofing compound @ 2% by weight of cement, all as per specifications for both the coats complete as directed by the Engineer-in-charge (Waterproofing compound to be supplied by the contractor).
Close hacking of existing concreting surfaces at all levels with sharp chisel/pokers as per specifications to prepare the concrete surfaces for plastering including scaffolding etc. complete as directed by EIC.

PART 7: Painting Work Providing and applying 1.5mm thick cementbase wall care putty in two coats of M/s. BirlaWhite at all floors and locations, plasteredsurfaces finished smooth to correct line level,plain, plumb etc., including preparing thesurfaces scaffolding smoothen the puttysurfaces with very fine water proof emerypaper to get a glossy finish etc. complete asper specifications, as per manufacturersspecifications, drawing & as directed by theEngineer-in-charge.
White washing in three coats in all floors andlocations for concrete /wall surfaces in shaftsincluding sand papering and cleaning thesurfaces, filling up cracks and crevices if anywith approved putty, scaffolding etc.complete all as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge
Painting plastered /concrete surfaces with two coats of acrylic emulsion paint of approved colour over a coat of approvedcement primer including preparing thesurfaces, filling with putty wherever required,scaffolding and cleaning etc, complete as perspecifications, drawings and as directed bythe Engineer in charge
Painting plastered /concrete surfaces with two coats of exterior grade acrylic emulsion paint of Apex ultima of M/s.Asian paints or approved colour and shade over a coat of cement based water repellent paint of approved make and shade as mentioned below all as per manufacturer's recommendations and as per the approved sample including providing necessary scaffolding, cleaning the surface with water to remove all coating, dust, filling up cracks & crevices with approved putty, curing the surface etc. complete as per specifications and as directed by Engineer in Charge. i) Over sand faced plaster. ii) Over Jalli Note:- Both sides of the jalli shall be measured for payment.
Painting steel surfaces i.e. HMPS door framesand steel ward robe frame & shutters etc. intwo coats with synthetic enamel paint of M/s.Asian paints of approved shade andmake over one coat of approved wood / steelprimer including preparing surfaces, cleaningproperly, filling with putty whereverrequired, including providing necessaryscaffolding, etc. complete as per specificationsand as directed by Engineer in Charge.i) Over sand faced plaster.

PART 8: MISCELLANEOUS WORKS Providing and fixing in position at all floors and levels, precast form finished RCC jalli of 75mm thickness of approved design with necessary steel reinforcement in suitable panels with necessary grooves in plaster generally as per drawing, in cement concrete of mix M 20 using graded stone aggregate of 12mm, maximum size including machine mixing, form work, conveying, casting the jali, consolidation finishing, curing in tanks, transporting the jali, fixing the same in position in line, level, plumb using readymix cement mortar 1:4 to the pattern as shown in the drawing scaffolding, curing etc., complete all as per drawings, specifications and as directed by the Engineer in charge. Note : Reinforcement for RCC Jalli shall be measured and paid under relevant item.
Cutting and removal of existing excess steel rods of various dia. at all locations and disposing of the same including the cost of scaffolding, gas cutting arrangement or grinding wheels as required at site including following all safety precautions complete as directed by EIC.
Repairing distressed concrete members like columns, beams, slabs, chajja etc. wherever required by chipping out the loose concrete, treating the rebars with approved chemical coating, covering the surface with rich concrete/cement morta/ polymer modified mortar, cleaning, curing etc. as directed by EIC.
Drilling/making holes of 10/12 mm dia up to 150mm depth in RCC M30 for fixing Dowel bars without damaging any reinforcement encountered while drilling the RCC member, removal of debris inside the hole with bristle brush, air cleaning using blow out pump, application of 2 compound resin grout similar to Lokfix E55 of M/s Fosroc, using gun and nozzle arrangement, inserting the dowel bars of 8/10mm diameter reinforcement bars using twisting motion at centre of hole till some resin extrudes out of the hole, cleaning etc. complete as per manufacturer's specifications, and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note: Reinforcement for Dowels will be paid under relevent item.
Providing and laying in position precast hydraulically pressed Heavy Duty designer cement tiles of M/s. Super Tiles or at par quality of approved manufacturer of size 400x400x35mm matt/chequered/non slippery finished, approved colour(s) in flooring, ramps/ footpath laying of tiles over and including 20 mm thick readymix cement mortar bedding of 1:4 mix, close jointed, grouting/double grouting of joints with matching cement slurry, finished to level, slope & plumb as required, curing including cutting of tiles as required, wastage etc. including finishing top with two coats of lacquer finish etc. complete all as per specifications, drawings and as directed by the Engineer in Charge.

Providing & fixing structural steel hand railing at 800 mm high above RCC Ledge/ parapet/ bund, in Balcony consisting rectangular hollow section of size 75x25 mm conforming to relevant IS Code for rail at top, supported over and including 275 mm long 20x20 mm bright bars balusters placed at 300 mm center to center welded at top rail and bottom to 40mmx6mm MS flats (including cost of M S flat ) and cross bracing of 20 x 20mm square bars in between the baluster, whole unit embedded in R C C Ledge/parapet/bund at bottom and at both ends in R C C/ brick, with necessary hold fasts embedded plates, finishing the concrete/masonry work after fixing/embedding, including painting the whole unit with two coats of sythetic enamal paint of approved make and colour over a coat of approved steel primer etc. complete as per specifications, drawings and as directed by the Engineer in Charge.
Providing 300mm high G.I Pipe hand railing at top of RCC staircase pardi, consisting of 50mm dia N.B medium quality G.I Pipe top runner welded to 32mm dia N.B medium grade G.I pipe verticals ( with additional 100mm for embedding in concrete) at 600 mm centre to centre or at suitable distance as shown in drawing at one end and other ends embedded in the RCC pardi with suitable hold fasts embedded plate and concrete, including finishing the concrete/masonry work after fixing/embedding, painting with two coats of synthetic enamel paint of approved make and colour over a coat of approved primer after applying 'etch' primer etc. complete all as per drawing and as directed by the Engineer in Charge.
Structural steel work at all floors and locations for M S grills, guard bars for windows, frames, pit/trench covers, bracket for slanting chajja, trap door, railing, hoisting hooks, smoke vents etc. using angles, tees, flats, bars, chequered plates, RHS sections, tubular sections etc. of required sizes including supplying, cutting, fabricating, welding, erecting, making holes/chases wherever required and fixing / embedding in position in concrete / brickwork / marble / granite stone with necessary hold fasts/stainless steel screws & rawl plugs by drilling etc. and finishing the concrete/brick work after fixing/embedding including painting two coats of anticorrosive bitumastic paint on all unexposed surfaces and two coats of synthetic enamel paint of approved make and colour on all exposed surfaces over a coat of approved steel primer etc. complete as per specifications, drawings and as directed by the Engineer in charge.
