Disconnecting the electric supply, removing the HT and LT cable connections and taking out the Transformer of capacity 315KVA from the platform, lifting the Transformer with suitable crane and loading into the goods carrier and shifting the Transformer to approved factory workshop for repair and transporting it back for installation in its original location including connection of HT and LT cable connections complete all as directed. Note: Repairs to Transformer will measured and paid separately.

M&L, draining out transformer oil, removing the inspection cover, lifting the core with suitable crane and removing the winding from the core replacing the unserviceable insulation of LV coil, HV coil and rewinding the unserviceable HV, LV coil turns with new electrolytic copper conductor, drying of core and winding in the oven upto required IR values, assembling the core with new insulation, replacing the unserviceable LT, HT bushing washers, oil seal gaskets of inspection cover with new ones conduct all testing, commissioning completely all as directed.

Note: HT/LT bush, transformer oil, LV, HV coils, inspection cover gasket and testing of transformer will be measured and paid separately under relevant items.

Disconnecting the electric supply, removing the HT and LT cable connections of the defective Power transformer 132/11 KV of 8000KVA capacity, outdoor type any make, taking down from platform with the help of crane suitable for lifting upto 30Ton or using lifting jacks, loading into low bed trailer of minimum 30Ton load capacity and transporting the same carefully to workshop for necessary repairs, taking all necessary precautions to avoid possible damage during transit and returning the same after carrying out repairs and reinstallation at the same location using crane, re-establishing connections on HV and LV sides complete all as directed. Note: Hire charge for crane and Trailer, charges for loading/ unloading and transportation are deemed to be included in quoted rate. Any mistake on the part of the contractor during dismantling, transporting and reassembling of transformer shall be made good without any extra cost to government. Decision of Accepting Officer shall be final and binding.

Opening top cover of 132/11KV 8MVA capacity transformer, opening of top cover and draining out the Transformer oil, removing the inspection cover, lifting the core with suitable crane and cleaning all healthy parts including coils, laminations, tank, tap changer including sleeves, drying of assembled core and winding in oven upto required IP values, reassembly of transformer by tanking the dried core and winding assembly, fixing of all oil valves, fittings of accessories, making terminal connections to external bushings, including painting of transformer tank externally with two coats of enamel paint and internally with two coats oil resistant paint, complete Routine tests on PTR as per IS-2026, replacing unserviceable LV/ HV bushings, washers, oil seal, gaskets of inspections cover with new ones including OLTC chamber complete all as specified and directed.

Note: HV/LV bush, transformer oil, LV/HV coils inspection cover gasket, OLTC, transportation and testing of transformer will be measured and paid separately under relevant items.

Any hardware and minor items like nuts, bolts, washers, petroleum jelly, grease, CTC required for complete job are deemed to included in the quoted rate.

Filtration of transformer oil at site after installation will be measured and paid separately but for carrying out Routine tests after repairs in workshop shall be deemed to included in quoted rate.

All routine tests shall be carried out on Transformer in the presence of representative nominated by the Accepting Officer before dispatch of Transformer after carrying out repairs to the work site.

Contractor shall submit 12 months guarantee for no oil leakage in transformer and OLTC part from certified date of commissioning of transformer and if any defects are noticed during this period the same shall be rectified free of cost.

Disconnecting the electric supply to the transformer 63KVA to 160KVA capacity, opening top cover of the transformer, draining out transformer oil into a container upto required level for arresting the leakage in the transformer, taking down of unserviceable HV and LV bushes from the transformer if necessary, replacement of top cover gasket, HV and LV side bushes gasket, buchholtz relay gasket, bolts, nuts and washers with new one, soldering work where necessary while fixing the bushes and re-fixing the same including testing the transformer after carrying out repairs complete all as specified and directed.

Note: HT /LT metal studs, HT/LT bushes and gaskets will be measured and paid separately under supply only items.

Nuts, bolts, washers, petroleum jelly, grease, CTC required are deemed to be included in the quoted rate.

All as per item No 5 but transformer 315 to 630KVA capacity

Supply only gasket set complete for transformer upto 500KVA capacity complete all as directed.

Supply only inspection cover gasket, radiators gasket, HT Cable box gasket and LT cable box gasket etc., suitable for 8 MVA power transformer complete all as specified and as directed. Note: All gasket for transformer shall be of grade SRC RC 70C

M&L, Spray painting for Transformer upto 500KVA capacity at site with two coats of grey synthetic enamel paint after removing all dust and rust and paint and writing the date of painting with white enamel paint complete all as directed.

All as per item No 16 above but for Transformer above 500KVA and upto 2500KVA capacity.

Testing of transformer of capacity upto 500KVA after carrying out repairs as per IS and checking oil leakage if any, stopping the leakage by welding if required complete all as directed.

Testing of transformer of capacity above 500KVA and upto 1500KVA after carrying out repairs as per IS and checking oil leakage if any, stopping the leakage by welding if required complete all as directed.

Replacement of air breather any type filled with silica gel upto 1000KVA Transformer complete all as specified and as directed.

Replacement of oil temperature gauge for transformer of capacities 500 to 750KVA complete all as directed.

Shifting of the transformer of the capacity upto 1000KVA from existing location to new location including disconnection and reconnection of HT/LT side jumper/cable/bus duct connection, testing complete all as directed. Note: Quoted rate shall be deemed to be inclusive of necessary crane and vehicle charges for shifting and installation of the transformer.

Supply and topping up of transformer oil conforming to IS: 335 (latest revision), dielectric strength not less than 60KV at 2.5mm gap in power transformer complete all as specified and directed. Make: Power Oil/Servo/Castrol/Shell Note: Test certificate shall be submitted all as specified in PS Clause 5.2.3 on Sl page No 111

Dehydration of transformer oil of 8MVA power transformer with ultra high vacuum filtration machine to obtain the dielectric strength of 60KV at 2.5mm gap complete all as directed.

Dehydration of distribution transformers with ultra high vacuum filtration machine to obtain the dielectric strength of 60KV at 2.5mm gap complete all as directed.

Conducting routine tests in the presence of representative nominated by the Accepting Officer to Transformer of capacity above 315KVA after completion of repairs at workshop including submitting of Test report in duplicate.

Routine tests to be conducted against item No 24 to 26 IR values of HV to LV/HV to Earth and LV to Earth, Winding Resistance, Ratio test, No Load Test, Short Circuit Test, Transformer Tap Switch positions. Note: All measuring instruments and testing equipment required for testing shall be arranged by contractor.

M&L, painting to body of distribution transformers of capacity 160KVA installed at various indoor and outdoor Sub stations including connected LT bus duct from transformer to LT panel board with grey synthetic enamel paint using spray gun machine after removing all dust and rust and writing date of painting with black synthetic enamel paint complete all as directed.

All as per item No 27 above but for Transformers of capacity 315 to 500KVA

Conducting of Restricted Earth Fault Protection test for 132/11KV, 8.0 MVA transformer by connecting the neutral CT cable to relay control panel and conducting Stability test on transformer confirming the correct function of the relay into operation complete all as directed.

Overhauling of Ring Main Unit, 11KV, voltage rating 400/630/800/1250 Amp, 3 phase, 50Hz, carrying out visual check of panel, inspect, clean and tightening of bolts of bus bar chamber, cleaning and inspecting CT & PT, checking cable tightness, control circuit and servicing of breaker for the following:-

Cleaning of insulated parts

Functional testing of Ring Main Unit

Measuring of IR values and contact resistance, checking of inner lock within panel board, checking of indicating lamps and zero error of all accessories, cleaning dusting, physically checking for any damages, tightening of bolts, nuts, greasing and lubricating by SIEMENS grease of all moving parts, lubricating spring charge mechanism by suitable oil, checking and tightening of control wiring for its normal functioning, applying petroleum jelly for top and bottom arm, female contacts and jaw contacts, checking of ON/OFF mechanism mechanically by operating the breaker tripping coil, closing coil manually, checking of breakers closing and tripping operation through protecting relays (both over load and earth fault relays) meggaring the breakers, vacuum bottles checking ON/OFF indicators, replacing unserviceable parts i.e. indicating lamps, ammeter, voltmeter, ON/OFF switch, vacuum bottles,, strip heater, body insulators, insulating rods etc to make RMU in trouble free condition, assembling the breaker, testing and commissioning the system complete all as directed.

Notes: Replaceable parts will be measured and paid separately under supply only items and the labour component for taking down and fixing shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rate.

Overhauling should be done through authorized OEM or channel partner of OEM or State Government approved License holder. Make of RMU: Siemens - 05 No, Areva - 7 No

Supply only LT/HT coil with insulation copper wire of required gauge with craft paper cotton tape HT/LT insulation as per specification of old transformer complete all as speicifed and directed.

Removal of unserviceable silica gel, supply and fill silica gel in breathers of transformers complete all as directed.

M&L in repairs, Earthing complete with copper earth plate electrode of size 600 x 600 x 3.15mm thick buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25m deep below the normal ground level) with top edge of plate not less than 1.5m below normal ground level connected to copper strip 20x3mm as earth lead by means of bolts, nuts, washers and check nuts made out of galvanized iron or steel all as shown on Electrical Plate No. 3 of SSR Part-I including testing on completion complete all as specified and directed.

Note 1: The unit rate shall also include for earth work in any type of soil, PCC 1:3:6 type C1 chamber, 50mm thick RCC 1:2:4 type B-1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate cover slab reinforced with 6 Nos of 8mm dia TMT bars both ways, funnel with watering pipe 20mm dia medium grade, GI protection pipe medium grade 25mm dia and wire mesh complete in addition to item No. 1(a) to (e) of preamble (Notes) under sub-heading earthing, specified on Sl Page No. 422 of SSR Part-II.

2. Copper earth strip beyond 7.5m will be measured and paid separately.

S&F in repairs, Earth continuity conductor with 20x3mm copper strip fixed to wall on batten or recess or chases with necessary porcelain insulators or buried in ground or drawn in conduit/pipe/wall or fixed to poles or any other indicated situation for loop earthing etc., complete all as specified and as directed.
