Shifting of existing half location boxes coming in the alignment of new line. The work includeslosing & removal of soil around location boxes by excavating soil around foundation, making 14 of pit for shifting of location box horizontally opposite to railway This includes loosing of existing cable coils without any damage. The excavated soil shall be backfilled after shifting of Location Boxes. Location box shall be shifted by push method with the help of jacks or by crane by contractors own expenditure under instructions of engineer in-charge at site. The work may affect train working hence the work shall be done as per margin only or during traffic block only.

Releasing of cables from old location boxes and taking it into new location boxes. This 16 includes excavating the earth to release the cables from old location box for taking it into new location. This also includes releasing the old location box and bringing it to nearest station / central cabin. Location (old) will be released only after ensuring all working cables have been shifted in New location. (Per Unit to be read as per location)
Making an entrance for new cable in old existing location, Casting concreting and curing of foundation and restoring it to old position by perfect masonry/concreting work. Contractor will ensure that cable entered in Location Box is properly protected.
