Comprehensive maintenance of sewage system consisting of sewage line, manholes of various sizes and depth.cleaning and removal of blockages of floortrap, Nahani/ trap and gully trap etc., water closet of various sizes in buildings including removal of blockage/ clogging in sewage lines of entire sewage system of (CGRA Meenambakkam (Thalkancherry)) area by cleaning of sewage drains of dia exc 100mm and not exc 300mm dia including blocked manholes by rodding from manholes and well flushing after cleaning and removal of blocked/ decomposed sludge/ dirt and other materials to a place exc 50m and n.exc. 500m and burning the same including removing and refixing manhole covers without damaging complete as and when required basis complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge Notes:- (i)The unit rate quoted by the tenderer shall be inclusive of employing sufficient number of person/ T&P for attending day to day maintenance of sewage lines and other items mentioned accordingly the unit rate shall be arrived at. No extra cost what so ever shall be admissible on this account. However it is expected to employ minimum one safaiwala and one helper on daily basis for the above item (for CGRA Meenambakkam (Thalkancherry) area) irrespective of complaints. For every group of areas a register shall be maintained to show the date and time of complaints and date and time of rectification duly signed by a rep of users of the unit concerned and countersigned by JE/AGE. Failure to rectify and blokage/ complaints in 05 hours from the time of intimation, a penalty of Rs 600/- per complaint shall be imposed and effected from the payment due to the contractor. (ii) The rate quoted by the contractor shall be deemed to include for Maintenance of entire sewage system in functional condition at CGRA Meenambakkam (Thalkancherry)

M&L for Cleaning of septic tank including removal of sludge/waste water outside MD land and washing with water etc including applying disinfectant etc of various capacity of tanks complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Demolition and breaking up drain pipes set in cement mortar (salt glazed stoneware/asbestos cement/reinforced) including bed concrete and removal of debris to low lying area to a distance not exceeding 100m, of the 150mm bore complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M & L for salf glazed stoneware drain pipes of Grade 'A', of the 150mm bore laid in trenches and jointed in CM complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M & L for cement concrete bed type C2 (1:3:6, using 40mm graded stone aggregate) to drain pipes including packing under and haunching against the sides of pipes after they are laid and fitted in cement concrete of the following 150mm bore complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M & L for salf glazed stoneware drain pipes of Grade 'A', of the 180mm bore laid in trenches and jointed in CM complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M & L for cement concrete bed type C2 (1:3:6, using 40mm graded stone aggregate) to drain pipes including packing under and haunching against the sides of pipes after they are laid and fitted in cement concrete of the following 180mm bore complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Cutting Salt glazed stone ware drain pipe 150mm bore in position including jointing socket end of new pipe to same with packed spun yarn and cement mortar (1:1) complete all as specified and as directed.

Cutting into existing manholes for connecting new drains, making good to pipe and rendering, cutting out existing benching for and forming branch channel (1/2 round or 3/4 section) in cement concrete 1:2:4 type B-1 smooth finished and reforming benching as required for 150mm bore pipe, all as specified and as directed.

Removing plants /herbs grown on duct /wall portion, SWR pipes joint area for multistoried buildings at any storeyed. Cleaning with steel brush and rubbish down all dirt, mud and shabby materials from the SWR pipe joints & duct / wall portion complete and applied neat cement slurry/cement mortar on the leakages of SWR pipe joints /vertical stacks and applying one coats of cement based paints on duct wall portion all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.

Removing plants / herbs grown on walls/junctions with roots using herbicide chemical and of existing brick and concerte in high raised building at any storeyed complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Taking up and set aside the drain cover slabs and refixing the same with cement mortar 1:6, after cleaning the drain complete all as specified and as directed. (cleaning of drains shall be measured and paid separately)

Cleaning of open/Closed/storm water drain and removing all debris from the drain off the premises complete all as specified and as directed.

Demolition of Brick work or stone /boulders masonary , built in cement mortar or cement lime mortar including all quoions,arches,pillars etc, but excluding ashlar facings dressed stone work and precast concrete articles complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L cement concrete in 1:4:8 mix type D2 using (40 mm graded stone aggregate) as in foundatione etc complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for brick work with Fly ash bricks straight or curved on plan exceeding 6m mean radius built in cement mortar (1:6) complete all as specified and as directed.

Rendering on fair faces of Brick surfaces or surface other than fair face of brick work or one side of lathing, 15 mm thick, in CM 1:4 finished even and smooth with using extra cement complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply only Water proofing compound

M&L for Preparing newly plasterd surfaces of walls and applying three coats of white wash complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for PCC(1:2:4) mix type B2 (using 40mm graded aggregate) as in surface channels and drains complete all as specified and as directed.
