Earthwork in excavation over areas by mechanical/manual means in all type of strata comprising any of the materials such as soil, silt, sand, clay, gravels, moorum of all varieties, shingles, pebbles, all types of conglomerates, all types of laterite rock, soft rock, disintegrated rock, fissured/ shattered/ decomposed rock or weathered rock and all such other materials as described under appendix to these specifications whether in full or in parts as the case may be adopting any approved method or methods as may be convenient or permitted inclusive of chiselling, wedging etc. in all conditions such as dry, moist, saturated, submerged, foul conditions etc.blasting prohibited including pumping or bailing out water including segregating the excavated earth/rock and disposal of surplus excavated earth at contractors identified site(at risk and cost of the contractor)for all leads and lifts and as directed by Engineer .

Refilling the pipeline/foundation trenches plinth sides, foundation etc. with available excavated earth in layers not exceeding 20 cm depth consolidating each layer ramming and watering lead upto 50 M and all lifts and disposal of surplus earth as directed by Engineer in Charge.

Supplying and filling in plinth under floors, trenches including watering ramming consolidating, dressing, complete. a. Sand

Rubble packing with hard laterite stone under floors including watering ramming and consolidating etc. in pipeline trenches and other foundations complete.

Pre-cast cement concrete solid blocks masonry of compressive strength 70 kg / cm2 in cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement : 4 corase sand ) in partition walls size of blocks (30 x 20 x 10)

Laterite masonry in neatly dressed stones for 23 cms thick masonry walls in c.m. 1 : 4 (1 cement : 4 coarse sand in foundation upto plinth level
