Taking out unserviceable/damaged GI /Copper strips in any description from hanger , roof wall etc in any height all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge

Taking out unserviceable/damaged aluminium strips in any description from hanger , roof wall etc in any height all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Taking out unserviceable/damaged air termination rod copper/aluminium in any shape or size from hanger , roof wall etc in any height all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M & L for copper strip 20 x 3mm for earth continuity conductor all as specified complete including fixing on porcelain holder insulator for support on wall / roof etc with suitable size screw , nut bolts etc complete all as sprcified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Material and Labour for but 32x6mm galvanised iron strip including fixing on porcelain holder insulator for support on wall / roof etc with suitable size screw , nut bolts etc complete all as spd and directed by Engr-in Charge.

Material and Labour for 25x6 mm aluminium strips with and including on porcelain holder insulator for support on wall / roof/Hangar roof and walls any hight etc with suitable size screw , nut bolts etc complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Material and Labour for in replacement of air termination, single pointed,copper rod 12mm dia and 300mm long complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge .

Material and Labour for in replacement of air termination, single pointed, aluminium rod 12mm dia and 300mm long complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge .

Material and Labour in replacement of test point terminal block made of gun metal or phosphorus bronze size 75x75x25mm drilled and screwed including 3 nos. 8 mm dia 25mm longhex. head screw complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M & L in replacement of PVC insulated multistarnded single core copper conductor 1100 Volt grade FRLS of size 25 sq mm complete with jointing with appropriate size of copper cable lugs and nut , bolt etc complete all as spd and directed by Engr-in-Charge .

M & L in replacement of PVC insulated multistarnded single core copper conductor 1100 Volt grade FRLS of size 10 sq mm complete with jointing with appropriate size of copper cable lugs and nut , bolt etc complete all as spd and directed by Engr-in-Charge .

Supply & Laying in replacement of GI pipe medium grade 15 mm dia with all fittings for laying in trenches, wall floor etc complete including taking out old unserviceable GI pipe all as spd and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M & L for earthing complete with copper earth plate electric 60 cm x 60 cm x 3.15mm buried directly and vertically in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 m deep below ground level) with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5 m below normal ground level connected to Copper strip 20 x 3 mm as earth lead by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of galvanised steel and including necessary earth work execution in any type of latent rock, PCC 1:3:6 type C2 chamber and chamber cover 50mm (PCC 1:2:4) with 8 mm dia CTD reinforcement watering pipe 20mm dia GI, protection pipe for copper strip 40mm dia GI light grade, salt, coal, magnesium sulphate and water funnel etc complete all as per electrical plate No 4 of SSR Part I.( To obtained earth resistance value and prepare test sheet of newly constructed earth pit shall be responsibility of contractor ) Note :- If the desired earth resistance as per equipment requirement is not obtained the earthing shall be re-done by contractor without any extra cost to Govt, all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge

Supply, installation, testing & commissioning of maintenance free earth (grounding) electrode of size 85mm Dia x 3000 mm long with 17.2 mm Cu Bonded MS Conductor pre cast or in-situ cast in high purity electrically conductive granular material having ultra low resistive value of 0.001 Ohm-m. Electrode made of conductive earth enhancing material mixed with cement in the ration 3:1 to encase or backfill the voids surrounding the 17.2 mm Cu Bonded MS conductor or other metal components placed in augured bore hole of 85 mm dia x 3000 mm depth, resulting to increase in the effective surface area of the earth electrode or grids to lower the resistance. Earth enhancing material should not leach chemicals into the adjacent soil or underground water channels and should be in pH neutral range. Earth enhancing material should permanently protect the encased metal componets of the earthing systems. All hardware like nuts, bolts and washers should be of SS. Electrode should withstand fault current upto 35 kA for 1 second. Electrode's top terminal be sealed permanently packed with conductive concrete and Cu bonded MS / GI extension strip taken out be terminated on to earth bus bar,all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge

Electrode made of conductive earth enhancing material mixed with cement in the ration 3:1 to achive result of earth resistance less then 1 Ohms encase or backfill the voids surrounding the 17.2 mm Cu Bonded MS conductor or other metal components placed in augured bore hole of 100 mm dia x 30.5 Mtr depth, resulting to increase in the effective surface area of the earth electrode or grids to lower the resistance.Earth enhancing material should not leach chemicals into the adjacent soil or underground water channels and should be in pH neutral range. Earth enhancing material should permanently protect the encased metal componets of the earthing systems, copper bonding on MS rod should be minimum 250 microns. All hardware like nuts, bolts and washers should be of SS. Electrode should withstand fault current upto 35 kA for 1 second. Electrode's top terminal be sealed permanently packed with conductive concrete and Cu bonded MS / copper strip taken out be terminated on to earth test point and eqpt terminal. Test certificate of NABAL laboratory shall be submitted by the contractor test link of size 50 mm X 6 mm X 200 mm, RCC pit cover including brazing of all the joints upto test point complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M & L for earthing in replacement of with galvanized mild steel earth plate electrode 60cm x 60cm x 6mm thick buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 Mtr below ground level) with top edge of earth plate not less than 1.5 Mtrs below ground level connected to GI strip 32x6mm as earth lead by means of nuts, bolts, thimbles, chuck nuts, washers of GI or steel, including PCC (concrete chamber) shall be PCC 1:3:6 type C-1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate, with fair finish internal surface of concrete chamber shall be given 15mm thick plaster in CM 1:4, funnel with wire gauge mesh, 80 mm thick RCC pit cover 320 mm x 320 mm of RCC 1:2:4 type B-1 using 20 mm graded stone aggregate reinforced with XPM, JALLI and charcoal dust and common salt all as shown in electrical plate No 3 of MES SSR Part-I (2009) and specified including provision of GI strip protected by 40 mm dia medium grade pipe and watering pipe shall be 20mm bore medium grade, and including all excavation and earth work & connecting the earthing to an earthing test point complete all as specified & directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M & L for GI pipe medium grade 40 mm dia complete with all fittings and welding works complete, including taking out old unserviceable GI pipe all as spd and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for PCC 1:3:6 Type CI using 20 mm graded stone aggregate complete all as spd and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M & L for replacement damaged of earth pit cover RCC size of 320 mm x 320 mm, 1:2:4 type B-1 using 20 mm graded stone aggregate reinforced with XPM, JALLI and specified including taking down old earth pit cover and refixing the new earth pit cover and including all excavation and earth work & connecting the earthing to an earthing test point complete all as specified & directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Labour for checking of earth resistance value of GI, Copper, Maintance free earthings located various at places under Air Force Stn Palam with earth tester, duly calibrated by Govt or Govt approved testing laboratory including opening and re-connecting of test terminals and recording the results in the registers maintained by AGE E/M-I every month all as specifed and directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note:- The Contractor to provide one electrician and one helper along with earth tester and accessories. The rates for the same are deemed to be included in the quoted rates of the contractor.

Taking down GI /Copper and Aluminium earth Strip after cleaning the surfaces, clearing any nearby vegetation/soil/rubble and refixing the same including replacement of rusted nuts, bolts and broken insulators with new one all as specifed and directed by Engr-in-Chagre.
