   Tenderer is required to clearly mention the make/brand and submit detailed Specification/catalogue (if any) of the offered product.

   The complete Main Cover Assembly shall be manufactured suitable for outdoor railway environmental conditions and shall be of weatherproof, dust proof, and waterproof construction. The assembly shall provide minimum IP- 65 degree of protection against ingress of dust and water. The cover shall be capable of preventing water ingress during heavy rain, water splashing, temporary water logging, and short- duration submergence conditions encountered at track locations. Suitable sealing arrangement using high- quality rubber gaskets, neoprene packing, and leak-proof locking interfaces shall be provided at all mating surfaces, crank handle openings, key hole lock areas, door lock portions, and joints to ensure complete water tightness. The design shall prevent accumulation or seepage of rainwater inside the point machine housing and shall maintain protection against corrosion, moisture, humidity, and contaminants. Cover construction and gasket arrangement shall ensure that electrical and mechanical components inside the point machine remain protected from water ingress under all normal service conditions.

Commercial-Compliance

   1. Submission of EMD & SD is governed by SECR Tender condition 2019 and Correction slips with latest updation till the date of tender opening. (i) Submission of EMD@2% of the estimated value of the tender subject to Max. Rs.20 Lakh as per Correction Slip No.001. (ii) Submission of SD: For all tenders issued performance security/security deposit shall be 5% of total value of contract and shall be taken from all vendors for contract value above Rs.25 Lakhs subject to the applicable exemptions. 2. As per latest IRS conditions 2022,security deposit will be released after successful completion of warranty period.
