NCTPS II Civil Maintenance Circle Civil Maintenance Division Repair and Maintenance works to rectify the damaged acid tiles in Effluent Treatment Plant tanks at NCTPS II

Amount

Dewatering using 10HP diesel engine pump set including hire charges, cost of Diesel, Engine oil, pump operator, labour charges, conveyance of pump set and fuel to site and back, loading, unloading and any other incidental charges etc, complete, etc., complete as directed by the Engineer at site.

Collecting, cleaning and removal of sludge from Chamber-I and 2 of ETP tanks and dumped 2kms away from site to facilitate finding out defects such as cracks, damages and failure joints inside ETP tank and to attend rectification works including cost of labour, pumping, removal of sludge, with all T&P’s, equipments vehicles and other machineries charges etc.,

Thoroughly scrapping and cleaning the wall where the acid bricks were peeled off to made the surface clean enough to lay new acid proof tiles for proper bonding including cost of all materials, lead, lift, T&P, scaffolding, cost of all materials, lead, lift etc, complete as directed by Engineer at site.

Providing two legged scaffolding using 10-13 cm dia casuarinas props, distance two rows being 1.25m and spacing of posts being 2m in both rows, with two horizontal posts with 0.50 overlap on either side and braces at 2m c/c including longitudinal and transverse middle braces to step up and providing a platform with c.w. Planks of 40mm thick and 1mwidth etc., complete using coir and nails.

Dismantling the damaged portion of and proof tiles location including cost of T&P labour, machineries, disposing the debries away from the site, lead, lift etc, complete.

Providing and applying Acid proof tiles as lining work at support wall of ETP tank over peeled off surface of walls, floors and drains including applying one coat of Acid proof primer over the concrete surface and applying 6mm thick mastic membrane and over the membrane acid proof tiles of size 230x120x20mm for flooring and walls applied by using Acicem resin, leaving a gap of 8mm including providing 4’ pilasters, transportation charges, Men & Materials for applying whatever necessary, fixing the tiles in position in intricate location including the scaffolding arrangements etc., complete as directed by the Engineer incharge at site.

Providing pointing to Acid proof tiles in CNSL mortar including cost of all materials, labour, lead, lift, etc., complete as directed by the Engineer.
