Schedule 'A' Section - I

Excavation in trenches in hard dense soil n.exc 1.5 mtr wide & n.exc 1.5mtr in depth and n. exc. 10sqm on plan for laying pipe in trenches and getting out complete all as specified and directed.

Returning filling in trenches, spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers n.exc 25cm in hard dense soil complete all as specified and directed.

Removing of surplus soil to a distance n.exc 50 mtr and depositing where directed at a level n.exc 1.5 mtr above starting point complete all as specified and directed.

Taking out unserviceable/defective/damaged/blockage GI pipe 15 mm bore steel water tubing,sorting out serviceable pipe fitting for reuse and cleaning the pipe including fitting and removing away all unserviceable pipe from site, complete all as specified and as directed. Taking out old unsv and Supplying, fixing and testing of cast iron Sluice valve PN1.6 as per IS-14846, body, dome, wedge-CI IS:210, rings-bronze IS:318, Spindal-SS IS:6603, Gland Packing greasy jute packing, fasteners-CS, Gasket- Natural rubber, nominal size DN-150 mm, both ends flanged in existing line, after removal of old unserviceable sluice valve without damaging to existing pipe line complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge. Note : Suitable size flanges for existing pipe line, Joints and jointing materials shall be included under this item.

Supply, laying, jointing and testing replacement PVC insulated cable 1100 volt grade with multi stranded, single core copper 120 Sqmm, Grade As Per IS 7098 (Part 1) 1988 including making electrical connection for main panel, to starter and starter to motor in pieces of suitable length as per site requirement duly fixed with suitable size of copper lugs/thimbles complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.

Supply, laying, jointing and testing replacement PVC insulated cable 1100 volt grade with multi stranded, single core copper 185 Sqmm, Grade As Per IS 7098 (Part 1) 1988 including making electrical connection for main panel, to starter and starter to motor in pieces of suitable length as per site requirement duly fixed with suitable size of copper lugs/thimbles complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.

Dismantling and taking out old flanged and drilled pipe line complete with all fittings and flanged joints,150mm dia, including necessary excavation ,returning and filling etc complete, removing unserviceable from site and transporting out of site complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

Supplying, laying, jointing and testing hot finished seamless carbon steel pipe not less than YST-240, grade B as per ASTM A 106, Sch 40, nominal size NPS-150 mm, outer dia 168.30 mm, with nominal wall thickness 7.1 mm and weight 28.22 Kg/ Rm, including short pieces as required at site, laid in trenches/over RCC pillars/across or under bridges/along hill side (up or down)/culverts/inside valve pits complete all as specified snd directed by Engr-in-charge. NOTE:- (i) Excavation Earth work, PCC, seamless pipe fittings, MS flanges & flanged joints shall measured and paid for separatly under relevant items. (ii) Work will be carried out in piecemeal loacations experienced based on break downs and weaker sections of existing rising main as per site requirement and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. (iii) Any other expenses including permision from state authorities are included under this item.

Supplying, laying, jointing and testing bends, suitable length, radius as specified and as per site requirement, made of hot finished seamless carbon steel pipe not less than YST-240, grade B as per ASTM A 106, Sch 40, nominal size NPS-150 mm, outer dia 168.30 mm, with nominal wall thickness 7.1 mm and weight 28.2 Kg/ Rm, including short pieces with flanged ends duly fabricated as required at site, laid in trenches/over RCC pillars/across or under bridges/along hill side (up or down)/culverts/inside valve pits complete all as specified snd directed by Engr-in-charge. NOTE:- As per item No - 43.00.

Supplying, laying, jointing and testing of Tees, suitable length and as per site requirement, made of hot finished seamless carbon steel pipe not less than YST-240, grade B as per ASTM A 106, Sch 40, nominal size NPS-150 mm, outer dia 168.30 mm, with nominal wall thickness 7.1 mm and weight 28.2 Kg/ Rm, including short pieces with flanged ends duly fabricated as required at site, laid in trenches/over RCC pillars/across or under bridges/along hill side (up or down)/culverts/inside valve pits complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge. NOTE:- As per item No - 43.00.

Supply and fixing heavy duty MS flange of nominal size DN-150, duly painted with two coats of black japan paint, for NPS-150 mm nominal size pipes, 36 mm thick, 345 mm outer dia, having 8 nos hole of size 33 mm drilled for M30 size bolts for jointing with existing pipes,duly welded with pipes/tees/bends properly to both the plain ends complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

Flanged joint for 150mm nominal size pipes comprising of one 3.0 mm steel reinforced compressed asbestos fibre gasket and 8 nos nuts, bolts of size M30 and 125 mm length and 2 nos washers 3 mm thick for each bolt to joint pipes/fittings/bends etc complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

Supplying, fixing and testing of high pressure, heavy duty cast steel sluice valve, nominal size DN-150 mm, conforming to API 600, Class 600, suitable to hydrostatic test pressure for body 156 kg/sq cm & for seat 115 kg/sq cm, both ends flanged in existing line, after removal of old unserviceable gate valve without damaging to existing pipe line complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge. Note : Suitable size MS flanges for existing pipe line, Joints and jointing materials shall be included under this item.

Supplying, fixing and testing of high pressure, heavy duty cast steel non return valve/ check valve, nominal size DN-150 mm, conforming to BS 1868, Class 600, suitable to hydrostatic test pressure for body 156 kg/sq cm & for seat 115 kg/sq cm, both ends flanged in existing line, after removal of old unserviceable non return valve without damaging to existing pipe line complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge. Note : Suitable size MS flanges for existing pipe line, Joints and jointing materials shall be included under this item.

Two coats of synthetic enameled paint (tint of paint as directed) over one coat of red oxide primer on surfaces over 10 cm width or girth including preparation of new surfaces on mild steel pipe including fittings, Gate valve and NRV etc complete from tank/tanks to pump sets and from pump sets to delivery gate valve/valves in Pit chamber , and writing names/letters using white paint as directed at different locations of water supply installation at Kasauli complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Dismantling of defective/unsv 150 mm nominal size pipe line and taking out from trenches with necessary excavation work and carrying out the reapir work at site or local wk shop for welding work to repair defective portion of pipe line and providing leak proof jointing material to leaked/pierced portion and took back after repair to work site complete and relaying of repaired pipe line 150mm bore in trenches and jointing the same in trenches complete with new gasket, nut bolts and other jointing material including testing/commissioning the pipe line on full pressure complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge. NOTE :- (i) MS flanges & flanged joints shall measured and paid for separatly under relevant items.(ii) Work will be carried out in piecemeal loacations experienced based on break downs and weaker sections of existing rising main as per site requirement and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Dismantling of defective/unsv 100 mm nominal size pipe line and taking out from trenches with necessary excavation work and carrying out the reapir work at site or local wk shop for welding work to repair defective portion of pipe line and providing leak proof jointing material to leaked/pierced portion and took back after repair to work site complete and relaying of repaired pipe line 100mm bore in trenches and jointing the same in trenches complete with new gasket, nut bolts and other jointing material including testing/commissioning the pipe line on full pressure complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge. NOTE :- (i) MS flanges & flanged joints shall measured and paid for separatly under relevant items.(ii) Work will be carried out in piecemeal loacations experienced based on break downs and weaker sections of existing rising main as per site requirement and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

PCC (1:3:6) type C2 using 40mm graded stone aggregate for anchorage blocks for pipe line/making good the cut portion of roads/paths/hard standings etc including necessary from work where required , to support the pipe line complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Cross arms bracings, support, clamps and back plates fabricated from structural steel section including nuts, bolts, washers etc, welding, bending cold or hot, drilling holes for bolts in any shape or size as indicated or directed and inclusive of one primer coat, one under coat and one finishing coat of aluminum paint complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

S&F MCCB 630 Amps 4 pole, 50 KA, 415 V, 50 Hz with thermal setting between 70% to 100%, adjustable type and connecting up in the existing panel location including taking out existing unserviceable MCCB complete all as speciified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

S&F MCCB 400 Amps 4 pole, 35 KA, 415 V, 50 Hz with thermal setting between 70% to 100%, adjustable type and connecting up in the existing panel location including taking out existing unserviceable MCCB complete all as speciified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Disconnecting /unscrewing coupling for 220 HP pump set and seperating pump and motor, disconnecting all water connections from pump including suction and discharge pipe line and taking out the pump from base frame, transporting to workshop to carry out the necessary repairs and took back after repairs , installing on existing location ,making all the connections carefully, commissioning and testing at site to the entire satisfaction of the Engr-in-Charge. Note: All the Spares/ parts/ job repairs required to be replaced shall be measured and paid seperately as under:- Note : Attend the complaint with in 12 Hrs and after repairing the same to be fixed and testing within 48 Hrs.

Earthing complete with galvanised steel earth electrode plate of size 600x600x6mm thick, buried directly in ground(earth pit not less than 2.25m deep below normal ground level) with top edge of the plate not less than 1.50m below normal ground level, connected to galvanised iron earth strip 32x6mm up to test point with suitable GI nuts/bolts and brazed properly up to main board including earth pit in cement concrete 1:2:4 type B-1, precast RCC cover in 1:2:4 reinforced with expanded metal, with suitable handle, excavation and earth work in any type of soil and including medium grade GI watering pipe 25mm bore with funnel wire mesh and medium grade GI earth wire protection pipe 50mm bore up to main board complete as shown in electrical plate no 3 of MES schedule Part-I 2009, connected to earthing testing point including taking out existing unsv earthing complete all as specified and testing on completion complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge. Supply & Fixing double walled corrugated HDPE duct pipe of 63 mm outer dia confirming to IS: 14930 (Part-II) of approved colour with fittings for cable protection complete all as specified.

Taking out complete Auto Trasformer Pannel (ATS) set including all electric connection , carrying 15 Mtr distance and making new suitable foundation for the ATS pannel and grouting the nut and bolts and fixing the same ATS pannel including electric connection and testing the pannel all as specified and direcetd by Engr-in Charge.
