PROVISION OF RETAINING WALLS TO ARREST SOIL EROSION AT MTPF D TYPE QUARTERS AREA AND PROVISION OF BOUNDARY WALLS AROUND MTPF D TYPE QUARTERS FOR DEMARCATION OF AREA AT ORD. ESTATE AMBERNATH.

Excavating in trenches in hard dense soil, n exc 1.5 m wide and n exc 1.5 m in depth; for foundation, etc. or for shafts, wells, cesspits, manholes, pier holes, etc. n exc 10 sq m on plan and n exc 1.5 m in depth including getting out and return filling etc all complete as directed by Engg-in-Charge. Important Note: The site shall be cleared on each day’s work to the entire satisfaction of Factory Authorities.

Excavating in Hard dense soil for post holes (or similar holes) each n exc 0.5 cu. m, getting out, returning, filling in and ramming earth or broken rubble mixed with earth around, in layers not exceeding 25 cm, etc all complete as directed by Engg-in-Charge. Important Note: The site shall be cleared on each day’s work to the entire satisfaction of Factory Authorities.

M&L Hardcore with broken stone of guage exc 63mm but n exc. 100 mm, deposited, spread and levelled in layers n exc. 15 cm thick, watered and rolled/rammed to a true surface etc all complete as directed by Engg-in-Charge. Important Note: The site shall be cleared on each day’s work to the entire satisfaction of Factory Authorities.

M & L Cement concrete in foundations, filling and mass concrete Type C2 1:3:6 etc all completed as directed by Engg-in-Charge. Important Notes: 1. Contractor shall use dust free aggregates as approved by the EIC for Concrete preparation. 2. Contractor shall use any one approved Make of cement as approved by the EIC throughout the work & the cement bag shall not be more than one month old. 3. Contractor shall ensure Thorough curing of the work for not less than 14 days. For this Contractor shall make suitable arrangements to store water at his own risk & cost.

M&L for walling of random rubble, uncoursed well bonded, bedded and solidly hearted built in cement mortar 1:6 including supplying & fixing of PVC pipes Min 75 mm Dia at required intervals, placed staggered to act as weep holes etc all complete as directed by Engg-in-Charge. Important Notes: 1. Contractor shall use dust free aggregates as approved by the EIC for mortar preparation. 2. Contractor shall use any one approved Make of cement as approved by the EIC throughout the work & the cement bag shall not be more than one month old. 3. The Contractor shall supply & fix PVC pipes at regular intervals without any extra cost. 4. Contractor shall ensure Thorough curing of the work for not less than 14 days. For this Contractor shall make suitable arrangements to store water at his own risk & cost.

M & L for Raised pointing in cement mortar 1:4 to random or polygonal rubble masonry, uncoursed or brought up to courses etc all complete as directed by Engg-in-Charge. Important Notes: 1. Contractor shall use dust free aggregates as approved by the EIC for mortar preparation. 2. Contractor shall use any one approved Make of cement as approved by the EIC throughout the work & the cement bag shall not be more than one month old. 3. Contractor shall ensure Thorough curing of the work for not less than 14 days. For this Contractor shall make suitable arrangements to store water at his own risk & cost.

M& L Cement concrete in coping Type B0 1:2:4 (12.5mm graded aggregate) including use of form work and smooth finishing etc all complete as directed by Engg-in-Charge. Important Notes: 1. Contractor shall use dust free aggregates as approved by the EIC for Concrete preparation. 2. Contractor shall use any one approved Make of cement as approved by the EIC throughout the work & the cement bag shall not be more than one month old. 3. Contractor shall ensure Thorough curing of the work for not less than 28 days. For this Contractor shall make suitable arrangements to store water at his own risk & cost.

S & F precast cement concrete Pillars Type B1 1:2:4 (20mm graded aggregate) set in cement mortar 1:4 for Fencing Boundary Post / pillar /columns, posts, boundary pillars, bed plates, pintle blocks, anchorage blocks, bonders (for stone walling) corbels, brackets, etc (of any section indicated), with plain fair faces, including all Steel reinforcement, chamfers, weatherings, and dismantling old concrete post throating etc. and setting in mortar complete with joints to match etc all complete as directed by Engg-in-Charge. Important Notes: 1. Sample of reinforced precast cement concrete Pillar (approx size 150x150mm and 2.4m ht ) with groove for placing fencing Planks shall be submitted to Engg in Charge for checking & approval before fixing / Incorporation in work. 2. Contractor shall ensure Thorough curing of the work after fixing of poles for not less than 14 days. For this Contractor shall make suitable arrangements to store water at his own risk & cost.

S & F precast cement concrete fencing planks/ louvers and jallies, 50mm thick (measured solid) Type B0 1:2:4 (12.5mm graded aggregate) set in cement mortar 1:4 , including dismantling old concrete fencing, including all steel reinforcement, mouldings, grooves for fixing with precast pillar/Poles/ post/ column etc all complete as directed by Engg-in-Charge. Important Notes: 1. Sample of reinforced precast cement concrete fencing planks / Louvers (approx size 300x1800mm and 50mm thick) with groove for placing in fencing Post/ pillar/ column shall be submitted to Engg in Charge for checking & approval before fixing / Incorporation in work. 2. Contractor shall ensure Thorough curing of the work for not less than 14 days. For this Contractor shall make suitable arrangements to store water at his own risk & cost.

M & L for Finishing walls with 100% Premium acrylic emulsion paint having VOC less than 50 gm/litre and UV resistance as per IS 15489:2004, Alkali & fungal resistance, dirt resistant exterior paint of required shade (Company Depot Tinted) with silicon additives. For New work Two or more coats applied @ 1.43 litre/ 10 sqm. Over and including priming coat of exterior primer applied @ 0.90 litre/10 sqm. sqm etc all complete as directed by Engg-in-Charge. Make: Nerolac / Asian / Berger Important Notes: 1. Sample of Exterior Paint & Primer shall be got approved from Engg-in-Charge before using / Incorporation in work.

Dismantling wrought iron or mild steel work of any description etc all complete as directed by Engg-in-Charge. Important Notes: 1. Contractor shall clear the site in all respect on each day’s work to the entire satisfaction of EIC.

M & L for Structural steel Work for Gates , Framed work as in doors or gates of angle or other section with gusset plates, rails, braces, etc., complete, drilled for fixing of steel sheeting or other covering. Doors, etc. to be prepared for hanging or sliding with and including either hooks and hinges or steel hanging door fittings and hanging; also fastening and fixing etc all Complete as directed by Engg-in Charge. Make: TATA / JINDAL/ SAIL. Important Notes: 1. The make & sample of steel sections shall be got approved from EIC before incorporating in work.

M & L for painting on steel and iron surface in Two coats of Synthetic enamel Paint including preparation of new surface and priming with Red oxide etc. all complete as directed by Engg-in-Charge. Make :Asian / Nerolac / Berger Important Notes: 1. The make & sample of primer & paint shall be got approved from EIC before incorporating in work.

Credit Item: Dismantled Chain link fencing and Gate and other Misc Steel Structure Important Notes: 1. The safe storage of credit material till completion of work shall be responsibility of the Contractor. Complaints of thefts etc in this regard shall not be entertained by Factory.
