Taking down geysers of any type and any capacity due to rusting of bolts/seepage of wall and re-installation at any location including S&F in repair of heavy duty pin type fastener 4 inch Job long and making necessary inlet/outlet electric & water supply connections from existing source to geyser complete all as specified and as directed

Inspection,checking adjustments and minor repairs of storage water heater 25/35/50 ltr capacity of any type any make vertical/ horizontal type which includes the following :- (a) Inspection, taking out of drain plug & dewatering and refixing the same complete all as directed . (b) Checking water tightness of storage tank . (c) Checking stop cocks with outlet/inlet pipe of geysers, pressure reducing valves etc to ensure free movement of water and easy functioning of parts. (d) Inspecting over flow vent pipe connections to ensure water-tightness and proper flow. (e) Checking and correct earth continuity of electrical items. (f) Checking functioning of heating element and correct setting adjustment of thermostat upto 55º C. (g) Adjustment of reducing valves, checking of dead weight type high pressure release valve and visual check of fusible plug for its intactness. (h) The cost of spare parts required for repair & mainenance of geysers covered under this item shall be measured and paid separately under the relevant item. (j) Make of geysers covered under the scope of work :- Sidhson, bajaj, recold, crompton, orison, ditz premier, peeco, empire, shakti, sahas, konark Note : Irrespective of the Number of complaints, work against this item of BOQ shall be completed with in 24 hours after handing over the Complaint slip failing which recovery @ Rs 200/-/per geyser per day delay shall be effected from the contractors payment.

Supply and fixing glass wool for geysers complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply only base assembly, compatible to existing geyser, with inlet and thermostat pipe with drain plug inclusive of clamps for holding the element with nuts, bolts and gasket complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fix in renewal bib taps, cast copper alloy, with crutch or butterfly handle, chromium plated, fancy type, screwed down, screwed for 15mm bore iron pipe, ISI marked, complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fix in renewal multiple safety system of instant geysers 1 & 3 Itr capacity complete all as specified and as directed.

Dismantling carefully solar storage water heating system of any capacity, any type for following works with testing and refixing the same in original position making all water/ electric connection to entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge after repair as under :- (a) Inspection, opening, of all parts, descaling, washing of inner tank with chemical solution and cleaning of outer cover storage tank. (b) Checking water tightness of storage tank after cleaning. (c) Checking and correcting earth continuity of electrical items. (d) Adjustment of reducing valves, checking of dead weight type high pressure release valve and visual check of fusible plug for its intactness. Taking down existing Ceiling fan exhaust fan, wall fan of any type carefully from any differnt location for repair and kept safely and refixing the same after repair, complete all as specified and directed. Note :- Necessary T&P such as ladder, helper etc shall be arranged by the contractor.(Repairs & spares shall be measured and paid separately under respective item of sch 'A')

Material and labour for winding of motor of 1200 mm sweep ceiling fan of any make with super enameled copper winding wire of existing gauge (Approx wt of copper winding wire per fan 350 to 500 gms) including cutting and getting out old burnt winding, sleeve work, varnishing with E class insulation varnish, threading, connections with twin core copper flexible wire of size 0.5 Sqmm of length not more than one meter with each fan including white synthetic enamel spray painting of fan and blade after rewinding complete all as specified and directed. (iii) All repair/rewinding work will be carried out in MES Store yard/work shop only and mark the CA No with repair/rewinding date on the fan before handing over to the department and maintain the proper handing/taking record with date. Any fan repair/rewinding by contractor and found defective within waranty period i.e one year from the date of repair/rewinding the contractor will repair/ rewinding the same without any extra cost. (iv) Contractor will return the fan after rewinding and testing within 4 days from the date of taken over, if not a panelty @ rate of Rs 50/ fan per day will be charged.

(c) Refixing of fan and mechancal check i.e tightening of loose screw, nuts, bolts (d) Electrical check i.e Checking of connections Note:- (i) The above job small be carried out by a trained electrician having ITI in elect, documentary proof of the education of tradesman shall be produced. (ii) Spare part reqd to be replaced shall be paid under respective items as supplied and fixed (iii) Necessary T&P such as ladder, helper shall be contractors responsibility (iv) The above work handover to contractor as and when site suggested by Engineer-in-Charge and should be completed within three days after issue of work site, failing which penalty charges @ 100/- per day shall be recovered
