"EXTERNAL ELECTRIC SUPPLY"

Supply and Installation of 11 KV Outdoor type package substation with facility for internal lighting, earthing, padlocks etc. Connection between air insulated switchgear & transformer shall be using 3 nos. 1C X 185 sq.mm. Aluminium unarmored (E) XLPE cable and connections from Transformer to LT Panel shall be by Aluminium Bus bar with Outdoor Type 3.0 mm thick M.S Enclosure shall have IP54 degree of protection for HT & LT switchgear compartment & IP23 degree of protection for Transformer Compartment. The enclosure exterior shall be powder coated with PP based paint. HT & LT compartment will be provided with the door and pad locking arrangement, including PCC foundation of dimension as per manufacturer's recommendation. Transformer Compartment will be provided with Cover. The Compartment illumination lamp with door operated switch shall be provided for HT and LT compartment. Lifting (Bucket) Arrangement shall be provided with each PSS. Notes-: For ittem no 14.01 to 14.03 (i) The drawing and specifications of the PSS and VCB and its components shall be got approved by the contractor from the GE before procurement. (ii) The PSS and VCB shall be got inspected and tested in the factory by the rep nominated by the AO before delivery from factory. The records of the testing shall be signed by the rep of the AO, contractor and rep of manufacturer. (iii) Cost of provision of any other misc accessories, components, parts other than those mentioned above in case technically required as per manufacturers instructions/ directions of GE to make the panel functional in all respects has to be provided and cost shall also be deemed to be included in the quoted rates. (iv) The Enclosure shall be factory fabricated from one ot the manufacturer mentioned for PSS and VCBs in Make list or their any other approved ranchise having CPRI approval certification subject to prior written approval of GE (v) The PSS and VCB after installation shall also be got tested at site by the rep nominated by the accepting officer and the records of the testing shall be signed by the rep of AO, GE, Engr-in-charge and the contractor. (vi) All the arrangements and testing equipments etc for testing as per note (ii) & (v) above shall be provided by the contractor and cost of the same shall be deemed to be included in the contractor's quoted rates. Note-: VCB to be coupled with existing VCB shall be provided with bus bar extension box including bus bar of same rating.

Supply and lay cable XLPE Insulated screened PVC bedded, unarmored, electric power cables (heavy duty)1100 Volts grade with stranded copper conductor of size 10 Sqmm 4 Core complete all as specified and directed( For UPS).

Supply and fix cable jointing kit for 1.1 KV grade cable for straight through/end termination joint complete with Jointing material heat Shrink type and accessories suitable for 3 ½ / 4 core XLPE, armored, Al conductor cable of size 500 to 630 sqmm,Indoor/Outdoor type complete all as specified and directed.

Supply install, test and commissioning LT Panel board (CPRI Approved) Powder coated cubical type Indoor factory fabricated made out of 2 mm thick CRCA sheet & suitable size to accommodate all accessories/fittings, compartmentalized in construction to accommodate all accessories. The TPN bus bars shall be insulated with colour coded heat shrinkable sleeve and shall be mounted on DMC/epoxy insulator. The incoming as well as outgoing MCCBs shall have copper extension links of current carrying cap not less than 1.5 times the rated capacity of individual feeders. The extension links shall be supported on DMC / Epoxy insulators having provision for termination of incoming and out going cables. All extension links /interconnection shall be insulated with heat shrinkable colourcoaded sleeves. The cubicle shall have a bottom channel of size not less than 65 x 50 mm. A detachable predrilled powder coated gland plate should be used at the bottom for entry of armoured cable of adequate size with glands.The above panel shall be front and back openable lockable /openable by key from both side and shall have louvers and air vent gasket for natural flow of air. Adhesive type gasket shall be used to make panel vermin proof , complete as specified and consisting the following :( Location-: Bldg no.
