MAINTENANCE AND OPERATION OF DG SETS INSTALLATION AT 2U DET DIGLIPUR

BOQ-1: Rate to be quoted in separate items in BOQ-1 for (a) Minimum fair wages with GST, Cess, Levies, misc (b) Bonus (c) Overhead and Profit (d) Items for supply and fix as detailed below. BOQ-2: Pecentage to be quoted in BOQ-2 over EPF, ESIC, LWC TENDERER'S ATTENTION IS INVITED TO THE FOLLOWING NOTES FOR ITEM NOS 1 TO 3:- (a) Tenderer shall quote not less than the minimum wages as notified by Government of India / Concerned state Government / Local body, whichever is higher and also not less than applicable rates. Contribution of employer's towards EPF, contribution to ESIC, Bonus, contribution to LWC as per Govt. rules shall be paid by the contractor. (b) The contractor shall pay the workmen not less than the minimum wages (higher as applicable) and submit the proof of payment with Aadhaar linked bank account details of the workmen employed. (c) The actual amount paid towards employer's contribution towards EPF, contribution towards ESIC and LWC shall be payable only after submission of valid & authentic support of proof of payment as catered in BOQ-2.

Comprehensive maintenance of DG set including manning and operation of the DG set as per manufacturer’s manual, switching ON DG Set supply manually after cut off AED supply (including idle running of DG Set), bring to correct speed, adjust voltage and frequency on panel board for taking up the pre determined load every day for operation of DG set (including Sundays and holidays) at 2U Det in Diglipur all as directed by Engineer-in-charge. 1.1 Contractor shall employ 1 DG Operator/ shift i.e. 3 (Three) Generator operators (for Three shifts round the clock operation per day, 8 hrs per shift) at site for operating above mentioned DG sets as under:- I shift 0600 hrs to 1400 hrs, II shift 1400 hrs to 2200 hrs, III shift 2200 hrs to 0600 hrs (ii) The contractor shall employ one diesel engine mechanic once in a week for maintenance of DG sets as and when required for smooth functioning of the DG sets as directed by Engineer-in-charge without any extra cost (iii) Carrying out checks of DG sets as per manufacturer’s manual. (iv) Cleaning of fuel tank as required for DG sets. (v) Checking and topping of engine oil in sump of DG set. (vi) The actual consumption of diesel by DG sets shall be recorded by the contractor every day in the DG Set log books separately for each DG set as directed.(vii) Generator room and surroundings of generator room are to be maintained neat, clean and dry as directed by Engineer-in-charge from time to time. 1.2 (viii) The unit rate quoted shall deem to include cost of consumable items such as cotton waste and Hessain cloth, T&P required for maintenance/ initial charging of batteries, distilled water/electrolyte required, stationery for log books, necessary registers, First aid box, operator dress including cotton overall combinations, rubber gum boots and hand gloves etc. as directed by Engineer-in-charge 1.3 (ix) The contractor shall also change the engine oil of the DG Sets as specified in the manufacturer's manual and directed by the Engineer-in-charge (x) The contractor shall also carry out cleaning of the of Centrifuge Cleaner of all the above mentioned DG Sets all as specified in the manufacturer's manual and directed by Engineer-in-charge. NOTE: Any additional manpower, if needed for performing the above mentioned maintenance work shall be made available by the contractor without any extra cost. Contractor shall employ One Electrician (One shift) Shift 0900 hrs to 1700 hrs at 2U Det Diglipur for operating and daily maintenance of external and internal electrification and maintaining the complaint cell. Complaint cell room and surroundings of complaint cell room are to be maintained neat, clean and dry by Engineer-in-charge. Contractor shall employ 01 (One) FGM (One Shift) Shift 0900 hrs to 1700 hrs at 2U Det Diglipur for operating and daily maintenance of external water supply, maintain and operate pump house. Pump house and surroundings of pump house are to be maintained neat, clean and dry as directed by Engineer-in-charge from time to time. Supply and fix in repair Fan Belt suitable for 50 KVA DG set (Make - Kirloskar)

Supply and fix in repair Air filter suitable for 50 KVA DG set (Make - Kirloskar)

M & L for topping up of coolant in radiator for DG Sets (Make : Kirloskar)

Supply and fix of 12 V 140AH maintenance free battery complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing chequered rubber mat for electrical purpose of size 2Mx1Mx16mm thick ISI marked suitable for 11000 volts all as specified.

Supply and fixing AVR (Automatic Voltage Regulator) suitable for 50 KVA DG Sets complete all as specified.

Supply and fixed battery terminals (Brass)

M & L complete dismantling, servicing and repairs to FIP (Fuel Injection Pump) by Supply & Fix of oil seals, 'O' rings, bearings, gaskets; reassembling the FIP, carrying out calibration by setting required pressure and testing of 50 KVA DG Set all as specified and directed.

M & L taking down starter assembly, removing the worn-out brushes and renewing the brushes as per manufacturer's specifications, checking commutator surface, cleaning any dust, dirt, oil & foreign particles with dry clothes and compressed air; checking; repairing and greasing the drive assembly for the movement over soft spiness to enable drive assembly to move freely all as specified and directed.
