REPAIR TO EARTHING AND LIGHTNING CONDUCTOR IN MD ACCN OTM ACCN AT CENTRAL AREA AND TECHNICAL AREA UNDER THE JURISDICTION OF GE (A) JAISALMER

Material & Labour for testing of earthing of any type, after disconnecting from test point and other loops by using ISI marked digital/Analog earth tester of reputed make and test result shall be entered in a Earth Testing register and put up to the Engr-in-Charge after testing complete all as specified and directed. Note :- Test result for item No. 1 and all earthing in schedule to be provided to Engr-in-Charge before completion of work. Earth tester to be provided by the contractor himself.

Taking down carefully copper/GI earthing strip/GI wire complete including and removing materials for taking credit and making good disturbed surface complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Taking down the existing unservicable earthing Test point terminal block as existing at site including making good the disturbed surfaces to match with the existing finishes complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Taking down Air termination, single pointed copper rod 12 mm dia 300 mm long and making good disturbed surface of walls,floors etc complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Taking down porcelain insulators as existing at site including making good the disturbed surfaces to match with the existing finishes complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

M&L for bore earthing not less than 250 mm dia 16 feet deep filled with black soil up to 7 feet from bottom complete with galvanized iron pipe 40 mm bore medium grade 3 meter long tapers at bottom & provided 12 mm holes (staggered) at 75 mm centre to centre up to 2.5 meter of length from bottom , burried directly in ground filled with 45 cm alternate layer of chemical magnisium sulphate, charcoal & salt up to ground level connected to galvanized iron strip 32x6 mm as earthing lead up to 7.5 mtr by means of bolt and nut, check nuts and washer of galvanized iron or steel including brazing work and 40mm dia light grade pipe for earth lead protection connected to electrical equipment and earthing test point , earth dolly and earth chamber as shown in elect plate No 2 of SSR Pt-I including all necessary earth work, excavation, earth chamber with PCC 1:3:6, Type C1 and RCC chamber cover of PCC 1:2:4 with handle and 20 mm dia GI watering pipe with funnel and wire mesh etc and testing and including taking down existing unservicable earthing complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

PCC (1:3:6) type C1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate in pit & 40mm thick precast RCC (1:2:4) type B1 cover 50x50 cm with 8mm round bar @ 15 cm C/C both ways. [iii]. Main earthing strip from earth electrode to test point upto 7.5 mtr. [iv]. Funnel with watering pipe [GI pipe] 20mm bore [ISI marked] medium grade & copper lugs and charcoal & salt as reqd. [v]. GI protection pipe of size 40 mm bore light grade 7.5m.

M&L for Earth continuity conductor or main earthing lead fixed to wall on batten or recess or chases or buried in ground or drawn in conduit/pipe or fixed to DBs or any other indicated situation for loop earthing with galavanised iron strip of 25X4 mm size complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

M&L for Earth continuity conductor or main earthing lead fixed to wall on batten or recess or chases or buried in ground or drawn in surface or fixed to DBs or any other indicated situation for loop earthing with aluminium strip of 25X3 mm size complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

M&L for Earth continuity conductor or main earthing lead fixed to wall on batten or recess or chases or buried in ground or drawn in conduit/pipe or fixed to DBs or any other indicated situation for loop earthing with 4.00 mm dia GI wire size complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

M&L for Earth continuity conductor or main earthing lead fixed to wall on batten or recess or chases or buried in ground or drawn in pipe or fixed to DBs or any other indicated situation for loop earthing with copper strip of 32X6 mm size complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

M&L Air termination, single pointed copper rod 12 mm dia 300 mm long with base fixing complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

M&L Earthing Test point terminal block made of gun metal or phosphorus bronze size 75x75x25mm drilled and screwed including 3 nos 8mm dia 25mm long hex. head screw.Material and labour for testing/termination point made out of 32 x 6 mm copper strip of length 150 mm duly housed in suitable MS box insulators etc for linking the down conductor and the earth terminals of the lightening arrester system complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supply and fix insulators made out of porcelain for fixing the lightening roof conductor and the down conductor complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

M & L earth chamber for GI strip/ GI wire/ Copper strip earthing as shown in elect plate No 2 of SSR Pt-I including all necessary earth work, excavation, earth chamber with PCC 1:3:6, Type C1 and RCC chamber cover of PCC 1:2:4 with handle and funnel for 20 mm dia GI watering pipe etc complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

S&F steel water tubing 40 mm bore, 'light grade' galvanised, with all fitting and fixed for earthing strip protection and including taking down existing pipe of any description complete all as specified & directed by Engineer-in-charge.

S&F steel water tubing 25 mm bore, 'light grade' galvanised, with all fitting and fixed for cable protection and including taking down existing pipe of any description complete all as specified & directed by Engineer-in-charge.
