a) Lifejacket made up of High Visibility Nylon Orange cloth filled with high density soft polyethylene foam giving high floatability. b) Lifejacket should have suitable plastic Quick Lock Buckle and Velcro for tightening for easy/quick donning in an emergency. c) Lifejacket should have attached Whistle, Auto light and solas approved Retro-Reflective tape stitched at visible locations and not less than 400 cms2. d) Lifejacket should be Chemically resistant to sea water and petroleum products e) Lifejacket should have Floatability 16.5 Kgs. f)Should have Shelf Life 5 years g) Lifejacket should be convenient and comfortable h) Major application is floods and Sea Mishaps i) Lifejacket should be IRS approved j)Lifejacket should be approved by any IACS member or D.G.
