Earth work excavation for foundation in all soils and sub soils and to full depth as may be directed except in hard rock requiring blasting inclusive of shoring strutting and baling out water wherever necessary refilling the sides of foundation with excavated earth in layers of not more than 15cm thick well rammed consolidated and depositing the surplus earth with in the compound in places shown by the departmental officers within an initial lead and lift and clearing, levelling the site etc., complete complying with standard specifications. a) Ordinary narrow Excavation.

Providing Pre - construction Anti - termite treatment and creating a chemical barrier to the building by injecting chemical emulsion of required concentration under grade slab and grade beam, all round the Pile Caps, Catch basins, trenches, pits, tunnels, wall trenches, back fill, plinth filling, junction of wall and floor. External perimeter of building, surrounding of pipes, expansion joints, below U.G. sump and retaining/side walls etc. as per instructions of chemical manufacturer as directed by the Department officer/ Architect. Thetreatment shall be carried out strictly in accordance with the technical specification and conforming to IS 6313 or equivalent BS specification. The chemical to be used as insecticide for the treatment shall be Biflex Tc, TC stands for Termiticide Concentrate for Termite Control (Bifenthrin) and the application shall be diluted 1 part of chemical Biflex Tc with 49 parts of water to get 0.05% emulsion and strictly in accordance with the manufacturer’s specification. The work should be carried out by an approved and registered specialist pest control agency only. Tenderer to furnish the name of the proposed specialist firm. A 10 years post application guarantee against defects shall be furnished by the main Contractor. Note : Horizontal plan area at ground floor level of the building will be measured and paid.

Cement Concrete 1:5:10 (One Cement, Five sand and Ten hard broken stone jelly) using 40 mm gauge hard broken granite stone jelly for foundation including dewatering wherever necessary and laid in layers of not more than 15 cm thick well rammed, consolidated and curing etc. complete complying with standard specification

Supplying and filling in foundation and basement with Filling Sand in layers of not more than 15cm.thick well rammed watered and compacted etc. complete complying with standard specification.

Supplying and erecting steel shuttering including necessary supports for plane surfaces in foundation and basement for reinforced cement concrete works such as column footing, plinth beam, grade beam, and stair case steps, etc. Which require only normal strutting using M.S.sheets of size 90cmx60cm 10 gauge, stiffened with mild steel angles of size 25mm x25mm x 3mm for boarding supported by silver oak joists of size 10cm x 6.50cm spaced at about 90 cm centre to centre and supported by the casurina props of 10cm to 13cm dia spaced at 75cm centre to centre etc. complying with standard specification. (The payment for centering will be made only after the concrete is laid).

Supplying and erecting steel centering for sides and soffits including supports and strutting up to 3.29 meter height for plain surfaces such as RCC square or rectangular columns, top and bottom slabs of sunshade boxing sill slabs etc., with necessary facia etc., with all cross bracings using mild steel B.G., 10 sheets of size 90cm X 60cm stiffened with welded mild steel angles of size 25mm X 25mm X 3mm for boarding laid over silver oak (Country wood) Joists of size 10cm X 6.5 cm spaced at about 90cm centre to centre and supported by casurina props of 10cm to 13cm dia spaced at 75cm centre to centre etc., complete complying with standard specification.

Supplying and erecting centering for sides and soffits including supports and strutting up to3.5M height for plane surfaces such as RCC slab, rectangular beams, Tee (or) ELL Beams, Lintel, bed block, staircase waist and landing slabs, landing beams, canopy, etc., with all cross backings using mild steel sheets of size 90cmx 60cm and 10 gauge stiffened with mild steel angle of size 25mx25mmx3mm for boarding laid over silver oak (country wood) joists of size 10 to 6.5cm.spaced at about 90cm.centre to centre and supported by Casurina props of 10cm to 13cm dia spaced at about 75cm centre to centre etc., complete complying with standard specification and as directed

Reinforced Cement Concrete 1:1 ½ :3 (One Cement, one and half Sand and three hard broken stone jelly) using machine broken 20 mm gauge hard broken granite stone jelly for all RCC item of works excluding cost of reinforcement grill, fabricating charges, centering and shuttering but including laying, vibrating with mechanical vibrator, finishing, curing, etc. And providing fixtures like fan clamps in the RCC floor/roof slab wherever necessary and bearing surfaces of wall, beam etc. shall be finished smooth with cement mortar 1:3 (One Cement and Three Sand) and kraft paper laid over it without claiming extra, etc., complete complying with standard specification as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Supplying, fabricating and placing in position Mild Steel / Ribbed Tor Steel grills for all RCC works as per design given including cost of steel and G.I. binding wire in all floors etc. complete complying with standard specification. (Contractor has to make his own arrangements for the supply of steel and binding wire)

Plastering with Cement Mortar 1:5 (One cement and Five sand), 12mm thick in all floors including curing etc. complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers.

Special ceiling plastering and finishing the exposed surface of all RCC items of work such as slabs, beams, sunshades, facia, canopy slab, staircase waist slab, landing slab etc., with Cement Mortar 1:3 (One Cement and Three Sand) 10mm thick including hacking the surfaces, providing cement mortar nosing, beading for sunshades, staircases, steps, landing slabs and curing, etc., in all floors complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers

Painting the surface with oil bound distemper of one coats with good quality variety and approved colour including cost for distemper with necessary putty, brushes, scaffolding arrangements, labour charges etc., as per standard specification. (The colour and shade of the distemper shall be got approved by the Executive engineer before use of work).

Paving the floor with best quality Double Charged Vitrified Tiles of size 600 x 600 x 8mm of approved colour, shade and quality laid in cement mortar 1:3 (one cement and three sand) 20mm thick in all floors and the top pointed with the white cement mixed same colour pigments etc., complete complying with standard specification. (The make and brand of the tiles should be got approved by Executive Engineer before use on works) (The basic cost of the tiles should not be less than Rs.80/Sft)

Flooring with the Eurocon tiles of size 20mm thick laid over cement mortar 1:3 (One cement and three sand) 20mm thick and pointing the joints to full depth of slabs with cement mortar 1:3 (one cement and three sand ) mixed with colour oxide including laying, finishing, polishing with machine polish, curing etc., complete complying with standard specification

Supplying and fixing of M.S.grill of approved design for open courtyard, grill, grill work to doors and window openings etc., using necessary mild steel flats for inner and outer members which should be fixed on edges including priming coat of best approved quality red oxide primer etc., complete complying with standard specification.

Providing and fixing doors with door frames as per the design and details with the door frame made of well seasoned good quality teak wood frame size of 125mmX100mm finished with melamine polish of approved make, colour & pattern as per drawing and the door made of 35mm thick flush door shutters of solid core block board type bonded with phenol formaldehyde synthetic resin thermo pressed with 8mm thick teak wood external edge lipping finished with melamine polish of approved make, colour & pattern as per drawing. The construction procedure of the shutter should be as per IS:2202.The size of block, shall perfectly correspond to the maximum size of lock, covered in IS:2209.All the four edges of the door shutter shall be square. Supplying, fabricating and fixing in position standard pristine white U-PVC (Un-Plasticized Polyvinyl Chloride) partly fixed and partly sliding windows as per the design and drawings and making necessary opening for the exhaust fan fixing in all floors with extruded upvc sections of required sizes as per IS Standard with necessary accessories such as rubber beedings with best quality rubber, lock, handle, supplying and fixing 4mm thick plain / frosted glass including the cost of all materials, labour, power consumption required for the fabrication, drilling holes in RCC columns, floor, masonry wall wherever necessary with power drills to the required extent and making good to the original condition after fixing etc., and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

Suspended ceiling with Hilux (or) Equivalent board ceiling tiles. Providing and fixing suspended false ceiling which includes providing and fixing G.I. perimeter channels of size 27mm, 0.5mm thick having one flange of 20mm and another flange of 30mm along with perimeter of the ceiling screw fixed to brick wall / partition with the help of Nylon rawl plugs and screws and then suspending G.I. intermediate channels of size 45mm, 0.90mm thick with two flanges of 15mm each from the soffit at 1200mm centers with ceiling angle of width 25mm X 25mm X 0.50mm thick fixed to soffit with G.I cleat and steel expansion fasteners. Ceiling of 51.5mm and two flanges of 26mm each with help of connecting clips and in direction perpendicular to the intermediate channel at 1000mm centers, 12.5mm square edge Gypsum board of 10mm thick is to be fixed to ceiling section with 25mm of screws at 230mm centers. Screw fixing is to be done mechanically either with screw driver (or) drilling achine with suitable attachment. The tapered and square edges of the boards are to be joined and finished to flush with requisite jointing compound, paper, tapes and primer suitable for Gypsum plaster boards. Light fittings and access panels are to be incorporated as part of the suspended ceiling and the integrity nature of the ceiling must be maintained. The Gypsum plaster board should be capable of finishing with any type of paint. Supply and fixing in position steel balustrade using 20mm size square bars at 15cm centre to centre and two balusters in single step centrally located and top shall be welded to 40mm X 6mm mild steel flat fix the handrail 40mm dia M.S. pipe as properly welded with steel flat and bottom fixed in the step concrete fixing M.S. flats of size 50mm X 6mm to be provided at the centre of the balustrade connecting all the square bars to the entire length of the balustrade and the square bars well anchord in the floor / step concrete through fish tail splay at bottom including painting the steel member of the balustrade with one coat of red oxide primer etc., complete complying with standard specifications.

Providing rain water harvesting pit by earth work excavation in circular shape of 90 cm dia at 100 cm depth.
