The Measurement for payment shall be for the theoretical volume only and it shall be e volume of the block of the excavation having maximum bottom dimension as per drawing and to the depth specified. (The Contractor s ll take into account in his rate, the provision for excess excavation for necessary working space, slope, steps etc., required for e avation, safety and other allied works and refilling the side slopes and working space etc., adequate protection for safety of labor materials, adjoining property, services, structures, etc.) Scope also includes removal of trees, stumps and roots to full extent by zing the area, removal of all vegetation including bushes and grass, dewatering, taking spot levels @ 5 m c/c in grid pattern, level g, dressing and rolling the excavated surface, loading, transportation of surplus earth to an unobjectionable place inside the site emises, spreading, leveling as per instructions of the engineer in charge. | 2 | SUPPLY OF GOOD QUALITY | SUPPLY OF GOOD QUALITY — pply of good quality approved quality earth and controlled earth filling in site leveling and at other places with good quality impo ed earth from approved source in layers of 150 mm and compacted up to 95% to its Modified Proctor density or as per direction of Eng eer in charge up to required depth and any plan dimension including cost of all labor, tools, equipment, hire charges, cost of borro d earth by way of royalties, right of way, taxes, transportation, testing, watering, rolling each layer with 8 tons to 10 tons rolle in open area and by 1 tons to 2 tons roller or wooden or steel rammers in confined area, and dressing / filling up ground depression etc. complete in all respect as per scope of work, detailed construction drawings, as per technical specifications and directions of he Engineer-in-charge. Payment shall be made for net volume of compacted earth as per levels recorded jointly. The contractor shall tain prior permission from concerned statutory authorities as necessary for sourcing of earth required for filling as mentioned abov and pay royalty etc., as applicable for the same. Copies of receipt of royalty paid by the contractor should be submitted to HPCL fo their record before bringing the material to site. No separate payment will be made by HPCL towards reimbursement of royalty or any her levies which shall be included in the rates quoted by the party. The contractor shall bring the earth and stock the same as per e directions of EIC. Scope also includes removal of trees, stumps and roots to full extent, removal of all vegetation including bush and grass, dewatering, taking spot levels @ 5 m C/C in grid pattern, leveling, dressing and rolling the excavated surface, loading, ransportation of surplus earth to an unobjectionable place inside/outside the site premises, spreading, leveling as per instructions f the engineer in charge.
