SPECIAL REPAIR / REPLACEMENT OF UNSERVICEABLE RUSTED CI/GI WATER SUPPLY DISTRIBUTION PIPE LINE AT HIMGIRI ENCLAVE AT BATHINDA UNDER GE (U) BATHINDA.

Amount

Excavation in trenches, not exceeding 1.5 metre wide and not exceeding 1.5 metre in depth for pipe line etc. not exceeding 10 sqm area on plan and not exceeding 1.5 metre in depth and getting out in soft / loose soil complete all as specified.

Returning filling in including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exc 25 cm thick complete all as specified.

Removing excavated soil to a distance not exc 50 mtr and depositing where directed at a level not exc 1.5 mtr above the starting point complete all as specified.

Taking out from trench existing old rusted / corroded CI pipe of size 150 mm bore spigot and socketed ends ( including all fittings) and lead joints incuding burning out joints and recovering lead including bailing out dirty / muddy water if necessary complete all as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

All as per serial item No. 04 above but for 100 mm bore old rusted / corroded CI pipe.

All as per serial item No. 04 above but for 40/50 mm bore old rusted / corroded GI pipe.

Supplying, laying, jointing, commissioning & testing DI pipes with rubber gasket Tyton push on Joints of spigot and socket ends centrifugally cast(spun) class " K-7" conforming to IS-8329 -2000 in any length of size 150 mm bore laid in trenches complete all as specified and directed.

All as per serial item No. 08 above but for 100 mm bore DI pipe.

Supply and fixing CI / DI fittings and specials up to 150 mm dia (any type, radius and angle) like collar, bends, tee, tail piece caps and pugs, single branch ‘Y’ junction, double branch, cross, spigot & socket or taper and flanged, straight bend, increasing decreasing or double socket, reducer complete all as specified and as directed. Note: The weight of the fittings for the purpose of payment shall be actual weight of the fittings or as specified in IS code whichever is less. if the actual weight is to be considered for payment purpose , the Board of officer shall be ordered by the GE to ascertain the weight of fittings and counter signed by GE and the copy of the same shall be enclosed with final Bill.

Supplying, Laying, jointing and testing of Steel water tubing 50 mm bore ISI marked medium grade galvanised including tube fittings Viz Tees, Socket bends elbows, union nipple etc screwed and socketed joint laid in trenches/under road complete all as specified and directed.

All as per serial item No. 11 above but for GI pipe of 25 mm bore.

All as per serial item No. 11 above but for GI pipe of 20 mm bore.

Supplying, fixing jointing and testing of Steel water tubing 25 mm bore ISI marked medium grade galvanised including tube fittings Viz Tees, Socket bends elbows, union nipple etc screwed and socketed joint fixed to wall and ceiling or laid on floor complete all as specified and directed.

All as per serial item No. 14 above but for GI pipe of 20 mm bore.

Supply and fixing in repair Gun metal globe or gate valve for 50 mm bore iron pipe , with iron wheel head, screwed both ends conforming to IS 778 - 1984 complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing in repair 100 mm dia flanged sluice valve , ISI marked PN 1.0 confirming to IS-14846-2000, both end flanged ,drilled , stain less steel spindle and iron wheel handle , CI gate with MS ring including jointing material such as nuts, bolts, washers and rubber sheet complete all directed.

All as per serial item No. 19 above but for 150 mm dia flanged sluice valve.

Material and Labour for Construction of valve pit Type 'B' of size 120 cm x 120 cm x 120 cm ( internal dimension ) of brick masonry built in cement mortar (1:4). from the top of surface including cover of MS sheet 3.15 mm thick and MS frame made of angle iron of size 50 mm x 50 mm x 6 mm with hinges, handle and locking arrangement including painting with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer and grouting in PCC (1:2:4) type B-1, using 20 mm graded crushed stone aggregates , Rendering 15 mm thick in cement mortar (1:3), including three coats of white wash on internal surfaces and external exposed surfaces , foundation concrete (1:3:6) type C-2 using 40 mm graded crushed stone aggregates including necessary earthwork , returning filling , removal including demolition the existing valv pit complete all as specified and shown on drawings.

All as per serial item No. 21 above but for Construction of valve pit Type 'B' of size 60 cm x 60 cm x 90 cm ( internal dimension ). Note for serial item No. 21&22: Applicable drawing for valve pit is Drawing No. BTD-811 sheet 1/2 to 2/2

Cutting the existing CI pipe line of 200/150 mm bore and inserting the tee / reducer / bend and new connection of 150/100/50 mm bore pipe complete all as directed.

Cutting the existing GI pipe line of 50 mm bore and inserting the tee / reducer / bend and new connections complete all as directed.

Material and Labour for PCC (1:2:4) type B-2 using 40 mm graded crushed stone aggregate as in thrust block and foundation complete all as specified and directed.

Material and Labour for PCC (1:3:6) type C-2 using 40 mm graded crushed stone aggregate as in drain and road surface and foundation complete all as specified and directed.
