Repairs of damaged roof after complete removal of existing treatment and applying the following treatment all as directed in order of precedence as stated :-(a) Existing surface shall be cleaned of all dust, fungus, moss and other foreign material etc by using wire brush & dusting. Applying a layer of btuminious primer confirming to IS 3384 @ 0.4 Lit/Sqm on the surface. Laying 3mm thick APP membrane having non-woven polyster matt at core and under surface coated with plastic polythene film. Laying shall be done using btane torch maintaining 100mm i.e overlap & 150mm end overlap, sealing all overlaps complete including treatment at all junctions & corners. The membrane shall be tucked into groove on vertical plane and groove sealed with cement mortar. The treatment shall be provided upto 200mm height above finished floor"complete all as specified. Note : (i) Laying APP based polymeric membrane shall be done torch on method as per manufacture instruction.(ii) A minimum overlap of 100mm and 150mm should be made at the end of the polymeric membrane respectively and sealed all overlaps and joints as per manufactured instruction(iii) APP based polymeric membrane shall be 3mm thick manufactured by M/s STP Ltd or M/s IWL or Pedilite (iv) Bituminous primer shall be manufactured by M/S STP Ltd or M/s IWL or Pedilite(v) Rate of taking down OHT before operation and refixing the same after operation shall deemed to be included in the item rate where required.
