EOT CRANE Design, supply, install, testing & commissioning of electrically operated over head travelling (EOT) crane double girder of capacity 05 Ton load conforming to IS: 3177 (latest revision) suitable for class II duty having span of 35.00m (approx.), height of lift 6.5m, travel length 36m (approx.) suitable for operation on 415 V, 3 phase, 4 wire, 50 Hz with necessary supporting steel structures with hoist speed 2.0mtrs/min, cross travel speed 5.0mtrs/min, long travel speed 5.00mtr/min with micro drive through clutch and geared motor of suitable capacities with control panel, power and controlling cables, confirming to relevant IS, controlled by pendent push buttons station and radio remote control switch of operation with and including steel wire rope 8mm dia, operation system hoist / cross travel / long travel / electrically operated with pendent DSL system of shorouded bus bar type with following specifications complete all as specified and directed.
(f) Wire rope 6 x 36 made of fiber or hemp core material of size 8mm dia having number of falls 4 confirming to IS: 2266 and tensile strength 1770 N/mm2. Rope drum will be fabricated type stress releived or seamless pipe duly machined and grooved to accomodate full length of rope in one layer. The drum should be mounted on antifriction ball / roller bearings. The circumferential weld joints shall be tested by 100% R-ray quality. (g) Hook is made of EN 3A material type 'C' shank supported on anti friction thrust bearing and the sleeve pulleys shall be made out of malleable cast iron or fabricated confirming to IS: 3815. (h) Gear box shall be totally enclosed type and oil bath lubricated. Gear box body shall be fabricated from MS plate / cast iron as per IS 210. All gears shall be EN8 material finished teeth cut on accurate hobbing machine. Pinions shall be EN 19/24 material and heat treated, all gears and pinions shall ground type so as to reduce noise levels to the minimum. Gear modules shall conform to IS: 3681 and ratings of gear shall be established as per IS: 4460.
(j) Control panels indoor type, made of 2mm thick CRCA sheet, coated with powder coated paint consisting V3F drive, MCCBs / MCBs, contactors, measuring meters, relays, connectors, busbars if requried complete standard protection devices for overload and short circuit shall be provided. (k) Complete wiring with flexible PVC insulated multistranded 1100 V grade copper conductor unarmoured cable of suitable sizes confirming to IS: 7098 (Part-I) 1988. (l) End trucks shall be equipped with spring / rubber buffers and rail sweep for bridge travel. The rail sweep shall be such that it can brush away any object that may fall on the runway. The buffets shall be of substantial design and suitable for engaging the stops at the end of run way. (m) S&F, pendent push button station at an operating voltage of 110 V and IP-65 protection alongwith radio control remote. (n) S&F, 02 Nos. of 70 watts LES lamp & light fitting shall be provided under the bridge and 01 No. shall be provided under CT trolley.
(o) Hoist shall be provided with both rotary and counter weight type (over hoisting and over lowering) shunt, adjustable type limit switches. Limit switch shall be provided for both CT & LT. Two way lever type for CT both direction and LT both direction. (p) PVC flexible festoon type travelling cable system supported on MS trolley moving on C-rail for cross travel. (q) DSL system with 100 Amps PVC shrouded bus bar type. (r) Complete painting of crane with two coats of enamel paint (colour- Golden Yellow) after cleaning and one coat of red oxide primer painting and writing the details of crane like capacity, date of installation, load test details etc. (s) Full length platform shall be provided at the one end for maintenance purpose and two short length platforms shall be provided on the other side.
(t) Hoist 2m per min, cross travel 5m per min and long travel 5m per min alongwith micro speed of 10% of main speed to be achieved through VVVF drive for all three motions. (u) Red indication lamp fitting aviation type for indicating crane movement - 01 No. (v) Radio remote system with all accessories should be multi speed steps of operations. (w) Pendent should be of die cast aluminium lr hard un breakable plastic having push buttons for each motion and it shall be hanged in the middle of bridge gider with crome plated steel chain & duly covered with sleeve. Note: (i) Supply & install of gantry rail is inclusive in the quoted rate. (ii) The rate quoted is inclusive of DSL GI shrouded busbar type of suitable capacity to operate in such a way that crane should work simultenously if required.
(iii) The contractor should take electric supply to the cranes from the incoming cable which will be provided. The rate quoted shall be inclusive of DBs, cables upto DSL of crane and connections cost. No extra payment shall be paid by the department. (iv) The original span length shall be taken at site and the design calculation all technical drawings and specifications as per OEM shall be submitted and take approval before fabriction of crane.
FIRE FIGHTING SYSTEM Supply, fixing, laying, jointing and testing MS pipe 100mm dia, heavy grade, class 'C' conforming to IS : 1239 Part-I including fitting such as coupling, bends, elbows and Tee duly welded joints including painting with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of zinc chromate primer of any length as required ISI marked for fire fighting system, laid in trenches/walls/ floors etc complete all as specified and directed.
Supply, fixing, laying, jointing and testing MS pipe 80mm dia, heavy grade, class 'C' conforming to IS : 1239 Part-I including fitting such as coupling, bends, elbows and Tee duly welded joints including painting with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of zinc chromate primer of any length as required ISI marked for fire fighting system, laid in trenches/walls/ floors etc complete all as specified and directed. Note for Sl item Nos. 30 & 31: Excavation and earthwork if requried shall be measured and paid separately under Schedule 'A' Part-II.
S&F, fire hydrant stand post 80 mm dia with single flanged end with provision of single outlet conforming to IS 908 complete all as specified and directed.
S&F, 100mm bore hand operated butterfly valve of pressure not less than 15 Kg / Sqcm with complete set complete all as specified and directed.

S&F, fire hydrant valve oblique pattern of size 63mm, double outlet with hose couplling adaptor of size 63mm size instantaneous spring locks arrangments and blank cap complete as per IS-5290 type 'A' including MS flange washer and providing of 80mm dia MS pipe for tee, cutting, weiding etc complete all as specified and directed.
S&F, fire hose cabinet of size 800 mm x 600 x 250 mm made out of 18 gauge MS sheet with double door having 4 mm thick glass marked with "FIRE POINT AND IN CASE OF FIRE BREAK THE GLASS" in signal red paint for keeping the fire hoses nozzles etc., the MS sheet cabinet shall be painted with a coat of zinc chrome primer and two coats of postal red colour epoxy paint outside and brilliant white inside of approved make and installed near the stand post type hydrant on stuable frame made out of angle iron with four number supporting legs including three coats of paints all as specified and directed.
S&F, fire fighting RRL hose of length 15 mtr confirming to IS 636 type 'A' of size 63 mm dia complete with gun metal heavy duty fire hose delivery instaneous male and female coupling confirming to IS 903 complete all as specified and directed.
M&L for cutting existing MS pipe line of 150mm dia and inserting of tee 150mm x 150mm x 100mm complete including joining earthwork in any type soil complete all as specified and directed.
S&F, branch pipe nozzles stainless steel of size 63 mm dia complete all as specified and directed.
M&L for brick masonry valve chamber of internal dimensions of 750 x 750 x 750 mm including excavation and earth work in any type of soil and 100 mm thick PCC 1:4:8 type D2 foundation, brick work in CM (1:6) plastering internal surface 15mm thick in CM (1:4) PCC (1:3:6) type C1 coping 50 x 50 x 6 mm angle iron 6 mm thick MS plate cover complete with locking arrangement plinting steel and iron surface with two coat of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of zinc chrome primer all as shown on drawing and as specified.
M&L for cutting the existing roads to a width of 60cm and 75cm in depth for laying GI pipe of 80 to 100 mm bore including returning, filling in and top surface of road 15cm shall be made good with PCC 1:2:4 type B1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate, complete all as specified and directed.
LIGHTENING PROTECTION S&f, porcelain /epoxy white / brown / green spacer insulator with one GI stud bolt with nut and washer with necessary drilling for bolt hole for holding / fixing roof conductor / down conductor of lightning conductor complete all as specified and directed.
WATER COOLERS S&F, voltage stablizer for automatic operation single phase naturally cooled indoor type & designed for input variation between 170 to 250V which output voltage stablizer 230V with accuracy of 2.5% and capacity 2KVA complete all as specified and directed.
DG SET Supply, installation, testing & commissioning of silent type (DG) Diesel Engine driven generating set having prime power rating of 400 KVA / 320 KW at a power factor of 0.8 lagging, 415 volts, AC 3 phase, 4 wire, 50Hz, 1500 RPM, alternator directly coupled with diesel engine, mounted on common base frame complete with Accoustic enclosure with inbuilt fuel tank, fuel line & accessories, GC foundation work as per manufacturer's instructions, anti vibration pads, OEM recommended standard panel showing standard accessories and comprising the following: - (A) ENGINE (Prime Mover): Diesel Engine, four stroke, inline multi cylinders, liquid / water cooled, turbo charged, air to air after cooled, confirming to ISO 8528 for G3 class performance, capable of giving adequate 1500 RPM to drive alternator capable of delivering minimum 400 KVA (320 KW) at outdoor atmospheric conditions at Hyderabad and capable of taking 10% overload for one hour after 12 hours of continuous operation, complete with the standard fittings / fixtures as per manufacturer and following accessories as specified and directed.
(i) Fly wheel housing and fly wheel. (ii) Air cleaner dry type replaceable paper element type with restriction indicator. (iii) Electronic governor - Class A1. (iv) Dual fuel filter including water separator, fuel pump, fuel injection pump (FIP) and injectors (v) Radiator, fan & water pump assembly. (vi) Forced lubrication - Pump, lub oil filter & lub oil cooler. (vii) Exhaust silencer. (viii) Exhaust gas driven trubo charger. (ix) First fill lub oil and coolant and diesel during commission and testing. (B) ALTERNATOR: Alternator shall be self excited, self regulated, brushless for 400 KW / 320 KVA at the speed of 1500 RPM at 415 volts, 50 Hz, 3 phase, 4 wire system with advance electric voltage regulator to ensure high voltage accuracy with +1% with class H insulation and SPDP enclosure IP 23 ingress protection, directly coupled with engine through flexible coupling and confirming IS-4722 complete - 01 No.
(C) BASE FRAME & FOUNDATION: Common base frame for engine & alternator made from structural steel channel. PCC foundation including adequate number of suitable anti-vitration pads all as per the recommendation of manufacturer. (D) ELECTRICAL STARTING SYSTEM: Electric starting system with battery charging alternator and axial type starter motor including adequate number of high capacity maintenance free lead acid battery 180AH capacity each as recommended by OEM / manufacturer including interconnecting cables / leads with terminals complete with starting / stopping switch, voltmeter - 01 set.
(E) ACOUSTIC ENCLOSURE: Corrosion resistant, acoustic and weather proof enclosure with durable industrial locking system on doors, doors with gasket made of high quality EDPN material, with arrangement for fresh air intake for cooling of engine & alternator, extraction and discharging of hot air to the atmosphere, made out of CRCA sheet with 11 tank pretreatment process and UV resistant powder coating and high quality noise absorbant & fire retardant grade acoustic insulation material (Rockwool) complying to IS 8183 well suitable for 400 KVA DG set to reduce noise level to 75db (A), measured at 1.00, meter distance @ 75% load under field condition and 70db (A) at 3m distance @ 100% load confirming to CPCB II norms.
Enclosure will have inbuilt base frame mounted fuel tank of capacity min 800 litres fabricated out of 4 SWG MS sheet mounted inside the encloser alongwith fuel piping from tank to engine capacity as recommended by OEM with drain valve, air vent, inlet, outlet connection and suitable exhaust pipe duty cladded with glass wool and covered with aluminium sheet inside the enclosure and exhaust trail pipe with muffer complete all as per manufacturer's design. (F) DG SET MOUNTED INSTRUMENT PANEL: Fitted with & having digital display for the following: - (i) Starting switch on / off. (ii) Coolant temp indication. (iii) Hour meter cum RPM indicator. (iv) Lub oil pressure indication.
(v) Lub oil temperature (vi) Battery charging indication (vii) Over speed indication, low lubrication oil indication. Note: 1. (a) DG set shall be installed over the foundation as recommended by OEM however minimum 0.5m space should be available all around the DG set and height of plinth shall not be less than 0.5m. Any civil work including miscellaneous work not covered under the scope of the work but required for satisfactory completion of job deemed to be inclusive in the unit quoted rate. (b) Contractor shall submit the detailed specification, particular model, make and literature of DG set alongwith drawings for approval of GE before placing of order.
(c) The switch gear, accessories and other items to be incorporated into Synchronising panel to be got approved from GE before placing the order. (d) The contractor shall arrange diesel / oil / coolant and artifical load for testing for final testing, recording readings of DG set at site. The cost deemed to be included in the quoted rate. (e) Operation & maintenance catelogue, overhauling manual, spare parts list will be provided as per manufacturer standard practice. 2. Output from alternator to synchronizing panel would be through bus duct of suitable capacity for each DG set and termination at alternator end should be suitable for bus duct connection.
(G) AMF CONTROL PANEL: Factory made cubicle type floor mounted LT panel board, indoor type made out of 2mm thick CRCA sheet for load bearing member and doors and covers made out of 16mm thick MS CRCA sheet, front opening type, protection class IP-52, duly powder coated RAL 7035 (50 micron minimum) after seven tank process, having aluminium bus bar of 630 Amps capacity for four poles, with all standard switch gear and protection, internal wiring of adequate size PVC insulated multistanded copper conductor cable etc and consisting of following: - (i) 600A, 4 pole, MCCB rupturing capacity 50 KA - 02 Nos. (ii) 4P power contactor, 630Amps, 415 volts AC 1 duty - 02 Nos.
(a) The Emission limits of DG sets upto 800KW / 1000 KVA shall be incorporated as per the latest CPCB norms as published by the Gazette of India New Delhi dated 03 Nov 2022 vide S No. 716 Extraordinary Part-II Section 3 - Sub Section (i) and emission limits shall come into force from 01 Jul 2023. (b) The emission limits shall be tested through one of the five CPCB approved / recognized labs as mentioned below: - (i) Automatic Research Association of India, Pune (Maharashtra). (ii) International Centre for Automative Technology, Manesar (Haryana). (iii) Indian Oil Corporation, Research and Development Centre, Faridabad (Haryana). (iv) Indian Institute of Petroleum, Dehradun (Uttarakhand).
(v) Vehicle Research Development Establishment, Ahmednagar (Maharashtra). (c) The cost of incorporation of Emission Standards and testing is included in rate quoted by the contractor. (d) DG set manufactured prior to 01 Jul 2023 shall not be allowed / acceptable.
