PROVN OF DG SET AND ASSOCIATED WORKS FOR STANDBY POWER SUPPLY TO TRAINING AREA AT AFAC COIMBATORE

Supply and instalation of silient diesel engine driven generating set 415 volts 3 phase 4 wire, engine asper IS 10001/10002 and alternator as perr IS 13364 complete control panel with necessary meters and floor mounted inclduing acoustic enclosure sound proof canopy to ensure pollution free complying with all latested CPCB norms/RECD compiliance as per ISO 3046 for polution and noise complete of capacity 82.5 KVA with AMF panel complete with the following:- (Make of DG set :- Kirloskar(KOEL) Cummins/Greaves/Caterpiller.) Note - The quated rated deemed to be included for load testing of DG set with necessay fuel and artificial resistive load banks with out any extra cost (a) Diesel Engine :- Diesel engine 4R 1190ETA 4G1 of 105 HP capacity multi cylender inline, 4 stroke cycle, heavy duty water cooled radiator with intialled filled coolent DFC 50 cooling for system at a speed of 1500 RPM rating for continuous duty and comprising of the following:-

(i) Well designed air handling system with (a) Dry type, replaceable paper element air cleaner with restriction indicator (b) Air to air aftercooling (c) Optimized turbocharger for increased altitude capabilities (ii) Optimized fuel consumption with (a) Inline fuel pump with mechanical governer (b) Spin on fuel filter (iii) Standard integral set-mounted radiator system, designed and tested for 50°C ambient temperatures (iv) Full flow spin on lube oil filter (v) First fill of lube oil and coolant (vi) Electrical starter motor with soft start engagement feature (vii) Battery charging alternator (viii) 1 X 12 V DC battery 120/150 AH (ix) Suitable coupling and guard (x) Fly wheel with starter ring (xi) Fuel and lubricant oil filter (xii) Water pump and lub oil pump (xiii) Electric starting system with battery charging alternator and axil type starter motor including adequate number of high capacity maintanance free lead acid battery 120/150 AH, 12 volts as per manufacture requirement including self starter connection cable. (xv) Hospital grade Silencer suitably optimized to meet stringent noise emission standards laid down by CPCB (b) Engine/alternator instrument panel shall be comprise with the following:- (i) Engine Control panel is manufactured with 14/16 gauge CRCA sheet and is powder coated for weather-proof and long lasting finish.and Aluminum bus bars with suitable capacity with incoming/outgoing terminals,Indicating lamps for ‘Load ON’ and ‘Set Running’, Instrument fuses duly wired and ferruled ,MCCB of suitable rating with overload and short circuit protections. (ii) The control panel consists of the following parts

(a) Microprocessor based generator set monitoring and control system. This control includes an include operator interface that allows for complete generator set control as well as system metering, fault annunciation, configuration and diagnostics. (i) LED backlit LCD display with tactile feel soft-switches and generator set status LED lamps (ii) Remote start-stop, Auto,Manual,Test operation features (iii) Engine Metering: Oil pressure, Engine temperature, Starting battery voltage, Engine running hours no of starts, warming up period etc (iv) AC Alternator Metering: L-L Voltage and L-N Voltage, Current (phase and total), kVA (phase and total) and Frequency . (v) Engine Protection: Low lube oil pressure, High/Low coolant temperature, Battery Over/Under Volts, Fail to Crank / Start, Sensor failure, cranking lockout, Low fuel level. (vi) AC Alternator Protection: Over/Under Voltage, Over/Under Frequency, (vii) Data Logging: Engine Hours, total (viii) Emergency stop push button on control panel and canopy (ix) 12 Volt DC operation (x) Sleep mode (xv) Safety alarm against high water tempararure and lub oil pressure (c) Alternator :- Alternator self existed, self regulated,Brushless type, Screen protected, Revolving field, alternator conforming to IS13364 66 KW/ 82.5 KVA at the speed of 1500 RPM at 415 volt, 50 Hz, 3 phase, 4 wire system, phase sequance UVW PF 0.8 with advance electronic voltage regulator at the variation of 1% class H insulation and IP23 enclosure directly coupled with engine (Make of Alternator :- Kirloskar(KOEL),Stamford,

(d) Common Base frame :- Common fabricated base frame for engine and alternator made from structure chanel of I section or angle iron etc duly installed on the suitable leak proof PCC foundation (1:2:4) type B-1 including adequate number of suitable antivibration pads all as per the recommendation of the manufacture Note PCC measured and paid separely (e) Fuel tank: DG set should have built in fuel tank made out from 2mm thick MS sheet and fuel guage of adequate capacity running for 12 hrs. (f) AMF Panel :- Supply, installation, commissioning and testing of AMF control panel 12 Volts DC system complete with internal wiring and floor mounted totally enclosed made of CRCA sheet metal of 3.15 mm thick outdoor type suitable thickness of angle iron frame work for DG set incorporating the following :- (a) One No AC volt meter 0-500 Volts with selector switch. (b) One No AC Amp meter of suitable size with selector switch and current trnasformer of CTS 250 Amps. (c) Led Signal lamp indicators for indications ie running,load on DG,Load on - 01 Set. (d) MCCB FP of 160/200 Amps 32 KA for overload and earth fault protection - 02 Nos. (e) Four pole contactor 200 Amps with NO & NC fuction relays - 02 Nos (f) Battery charging indicator lamp - 01 Nos. (g) Instrument fuses with suitable range fuses - 01 Set. (h) Under voltage relay 3 phase 4 wire 415 volts - 01 No. (j) Digital electronic timer for AMF operation - 01 No. (k) By Pass arrangement with rotary type by pass switch AC 4 pole 200 Amps rating to isolate AMF panel.

(l) Engine starting/stop relay unit (AMF Relay unit) (m) boost cum floot battery charger 12 volts - 01 No. (n) Annuncialagor for fault indication (LOP/HWT). (o) DC voltmeter and Amp meter (p) Auto/manual selector switch. (q) Control supply should be provided by 2 single pole MCB with adequate size of cable from engine to AMF panel (r) any other suitable accessories for efficient working of AMF panel as per manufacturer instructions.

Material and labour for trolley for DG set 82.5 KVA of suitable size mounting for DG set, AMF panel, cable drum 2 Nos store approx 40 Mtr cable of 120 Sq mm made out of mild steel angle/ chanels medium weight beams & MS flates with necessary welding in any postion driliing in hot/cold etc for longitude and cross members of trolly made out of ISMC chanel 80/100 and top of the members coverd with 6 mm thick MS plate plateform and vertical support over the plateform with MS equal angle of size 50 x 50 x 6 mm thick angles with MS flate 50 x 5 mm thick for two runs of bracing the supports, V type towing frame with hook with spring and check nuts and mounting bracket with bush for movement of tow assembly. The assembly made out of ISMC chanel 80/100 with long and cross member, turning plate assembly for front wheel only fitted in front axle, the front and rear axle made out of medium weight beam ISMB 80/100, Hand brak with break drum and leaver, trooly load support legs four Nos with locking arragement for reduce the weight in tyres. including tyre with tube F78-15 8 play rataing four nos with wheel drum, mounting bracket, bearings, check nuts, locknuts, key etc welded with medium beam with nut bolts washers as required for mounting the DG set assembly all as directed.

Supply, layig, connecting, testing and commissioning of 95 Sqmm 3.5 Core under ground LT cable XLPE insulated screened, PVC bedded, armoured heavy duty electric cable confirming to IS : 7098-1985 with stranded aluminium conductor 1100 volts laid in trenches, floor, fixed to walls/drawn through pipe, duct or along the pole fixing the cable with suitable size glands, crimping type lugs etc all as specified and directed.
