SCHEDULE "A" PART -XI (MISCELLANEOUS ITEMS) Note:- This schedule is not pre-priced by MES and the pre-priced rate indicated as "Rs 0.00" under Col.' 5 ' signifies this fact only.

M & L for drilling and tapping of CI/DI water mains (in positions) for branch connections of the internal dia 50mm GI pipes complete all specified and as directed. Note: Quoted rate shall deemed to be inclusive of excavation/ returning and filling complete all as specified.

M & L Boring of holes under road, pavement, hard standing by trenchless technology using ultra sound technique and necessary machinery including HDPE Pipe, 150mm bore, 0.4 Mpa working pressure complete all specified and as directed. Note: The horizontal directional drilling machine boring shall be minimum shot length of 100m horizontal length in a single span and depth shall not be less than 1.20m. The unit rate quoted is deemed to be inclusive for earth work as required at site for boring at starting and termination ends complete all as directed.

Material & labour for construction of 230mm thick brick masonary valve chamber built in CM 1:6 of valve pit of size 900x900x 900mm (internal size) with 100mm thick foundation using PCC 1:4:8 type D2 with 100mm offset,15mm thick plastering internally and 15cm below GL externally in CM 1:6, 3mm thick MS sheet cover ,double door welded to 50mmx50mmx6mm MS angle iron fram fixed with hold fasts in PCC 1:2:4 type B1 coping 50mm thick, 20mmx6mm flat iron hinges with loocking arrangement including lock 65mm brass and keys, MS handles and applying one coat of red oxide primer and two coats of synthetic enamel paint to all steel surfaces including excavation & earth work in any type of soil / rock and disposal of surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50m complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for point wiring complete with 1100 volts, FRLSH grade, 1.5 Sqmm PVC insulated, unsheathed multistranded copper conductor cable, ISI marked, drawn through and including heavy duty PVC conduit, 20mm dia including all accessories concealed in walls /Roofs/Floors/Ceiling etc. and modular type pressed metal flush box made out of 1.2mm thick GI of suitable size and including modular type Base/Grid frame & Cover frame for housing modular type switches, sockets and regulators etc. concealed in walls including 1100 volts, FRLSH grade, 1.5 Sqmm PVC insulated, unsheathed multistranded copper conductor cable for earth continuity conductor with colour coding and connecting to Earth dolly for One light/ Fan point / Bell point controlled by One switch complete all as specified ans as directed.

All as per item No 11.05 above but for 3 pin,5 Amp switch Socket outlet on independent board complete all as specified and directed.

All as per item No 11.05 above but with 1100 volts, FRLSH grade, 2.5 Sqmm PVC insulated, unsheathed multistranded copper conductor cable, ISI marked, for 3 pin,15 Amp switch Socket outlet on independent board complete all as specified and directed.

Materials and labour for earthing complete with galvanised iron earth plate electrode 600 mm x 600 mm x 6 mm thick, burried directly and preferably vertically in ground, earth pit not less than 2.25 Mtr deep below ground level with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5 m below ground level connetced with 32X6mm GI strip by means of nuts, bolts, check nuts and washers made of galvanised iron or steel earthing lead to be protected by galvanised iron pipe of 40mm bore (light grade) and other end connected to earthing test point or lightening arrestor or main controlling switch as directed including providing funnel with 20mm bore galvanised iron pipe (medium grade), wire mesh, charcoal or coke and common salt in alternate layer of 15cm (compacted thickness) all round the earth electrode, concrete earth pit in PCC (1:3:6) type C-1 (with 20mm graded aggregate), 50mm thick precast RCC (1:2:4) cover slab (re-inforced with 8mm dia TMT bar @ 15 cm C/C bothways and suitable handle made of 10mm dia) including necessary earth work in excavation, returning filling and removal of surplus earth upto a distance not exceeding 50 m etc all as shown on electrical plate No. 3 of MES Schedule Part-I(2009) complete including testing on completion all as specified and as directed. Notes:- (i) Main earthing strip from earth plate electrode to rest point upto length of 7.5 meters length shall deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted against this item. (ii) On testing after completion if the desired resistenance is not obtained the contractor shall redo the earthing without any extra cost to the department.

Supply and fixing submain wiring with two runs of 6 sq.mm Single Core, PVC Insulated, Unsheathed multistranded copper conductor cable,1100 Volts, ISI marked, drawning through and including heavy duty PVC conduit of 25mm dia with all accessories etc. concealed in walls /Roofs/Floors/Ceiling including one run of 6 sq.mm Single Core, PVC Insulated, Unsheathed multistranded copper conductor cable,1100 Volts FRLSH grade earth continuity conductor complete all as specified and directed. Note: (i) Three runs of 6 Sqmm cable and one run of heavy duty PVC conduit of 25mm dia shall be measured as one unit.
