Excavation in trenches n.exc 1.5 m wide and n.exc 1.5m depth and getting out in soft/loose soil for laying of CI/DI/GI pipes complete all as specified and as directed.

Returning, filling in soil including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers n.exc 25 cm in any type of soil complete all as specified and as directed.

Removing surplus soil to a distance n.exc 50m and depositing where directed at a level n.exc 1.5m above the starting point complete all as specified and as directed.

Spreading riddled soil in trenches as cable cushioning all as per IS 1255-1983 as directed. Note:- Excavated approved soil shall be riddled by using sieve to separate composite particles etc as per IS and refilling in trenches before laying of cable 8 cm and 15 cm after laying of cable. This is then gently punned down to a depth of 10 cm above the top of upper most cable (ii). For the purpose of measurement only punned thickens only will be considered for payment. of remaining depth with normal excavated soil all as specified and directed. Note :- Excavated soil shall shall be riddle by using sieve to separate composite particles etc as per IS 1255-1983 and refilling in trenches all as in cable cushioning.

Material and labour for Bricks (Size 0.23x 0.115x 0.075mm) covering with width equal to length of brick as mechanical protection to cable with well burnt sub class ‘B’ bricks laid dry flat complete all as specified and directed by Engr in charge.

Supplied and laying Tubes med grade galvanised with all fittings laid in trenches of size 100 mm (4.0”) complete all as specified and directed.
