Taking down carefully exhaust fan 225 mm size, dismantaling of parts, removing burnt out windings with insulating materials,cleaning throughly internally and externally, rewinding fan motor with super enamelled copper wires of existing size including provision of all insulating materials and varnishing, lubrication of bearing / bushes using fresh lubricant all as per OEMs reccommendations, replacement of defective parts,re-assembling, fixing in original position including testing and commissioning, complete all as specified and directed.

Taking down carefully exhaust fan 300 mm/450 mm size, dismantaling of parts, removing burnt out windings with insulating materials,cleaning throughly internally and externally, rewinding fan motor with super enamelled copper wires of existing size including provision of all insulating materials and varnishing, lubrication of bearing / bushes using fresh lubricant all as per OEMs reccommendations, replacement of defective parts,re-assembling, fixing in original position including testing and commissioning, complete all as specified and directed.

NOTES:- (Applicable for BOQ Serial Item No. 4.2 to 4.7 here in before) (i) Repairs and rewinding woks shall be carried out through authorised technicians of the OEMs as approved by GE. (ii) Cost of minor items like lubricants, insulating tape, metal washers, fibre/rubber washers, screws, small nuts & bolts and like shall be deemed to be inclusive of the quoted rate. (iii) Spares required for replacement of defective ones will be measured and paid seperately under Prime Cost Sum (iv) The Contractor shall maintain service reports for all the appliances copy of the same will be submitted to the Engineer in Charge.

Prime Cost Sum. The prime cost to be used as directed by the Accepting Officer vide Condition 1 (v) and 5 of IAFW-2249 (General Condition of Contracts) forming part of the tender documents. (a) Provide a prime cost of Rs 1,92,355.00 for supply only of spare parts suitable for various capacities/sizes/sweep of Storage Type Water Heater (Geyser)/ Ceiling Fans/ Exhaust Fans after dismantling and based on findings of the actual requirements of spares through a BOO convened by the Accepting Officer.The spares shall procured directly from the OEMs or their aurhorised distributor/dealer as approved by GE. (b) Bidder's/Contractor's quoted amount shall be inclusive of his overhead and profit and including all taxes and insert amount to cover all. The Bidder's/Contractor's is to quote lump sum amount under Column 6 covering all the aspects mentioned here in before, representing (%) percentage under Column 9, Above/Below (+ or - denomination) the Prime Cost Sum insered by MES under Column 5. However,the quoted amount under Column 6 shall not exceed 15% (Fifteen Percentage) of Prime Cost Sum insered by MES under Column 5. In case,the Bidder's/Contractor's quoted amount is in excess of 15% of the estimated amount, the same shall be restricted to 15% (Fifteen Percentage) and the amount quoted shall be corrected accordingly to work out the contract sum.
