Rough excavation for all kind of soil by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator) over areas (exceeding 30 cm in depth, 1.5 m in width as well as 10 sqm on plan) including getting out and disposal of excavated earth lead upto 50 m and lift upto 1.5 m, all kind of soil, as directed complete all as specified and directed.
Removing excavated soil exc. 250 m but n.exc 500 m and depositing where directed.
Earth work in excavation for all kind of soil by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator) in foundation trenches or drains (not exceeding 1.5 m in width or 10 sqm on plan) including dressing of sides and ramming of bottoms, lift upto 1.5 m, including getting out the excavated soil and disposal of surplus excavated soil as directed, with in a lead of 50 m complete as specified and directed.

Excavation in trenches in any type of soil n exc 1.5 metre in width and n exc 1.5 metre in depth and getting out all as required for taking out of cables, foundation filling of poles or stays. Note: - (a) Excavation shall be carried out manually keeping in view the safety of cable.
Excavation by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator) in trenches in any type of soil n exc 1.5 metre in width and n exc 1.5 metre in depth and getting out all as required for laying of cables, water pipe lines and in foundation filling of poles or stays.
Excavation in trenches in any type of soil not exc. 1.5 metre wide and 1.5 metre in depth for laying of water pipe line and getting out in any type of soil complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer in charge. Note:- All excavation for taking out and re-laying of Gl pipe shall be carried out manually and laid under the relevant item.

Removing excavated material to a distance n.exc 50 metre and depositing where directed at a level n.exc 1.5 m above the starting point complete as specified and directed.
M&L for plain cement concrete, 1:4:8 type D-2 (using 40 mm graded crushed stone aggregate) as in foundation filling and mass concrete complete all as specified and directed.
Plain Cement concrete (1:2:4) type B-1 using 20mm graded crushed pain stone aggregate as in coping/benching and the like including weathering slightly rounded or chamfered angles as directed including form work and finishing all exposed surfaces complete all as specified and directed.
M&L for plain cement concrete Nominal Mix 1:3:6 type C2 (using 40 mm graded rushed stone aggregate) as in foundation, filling and mass concrete complete all as specified and directed.
PCC M-15 1:2:4 (nominal mix) type B-1 using 20 m graded crushed stone aggregates as in 80 mm thick flooring finished even and smooth without using extra cement complete as specified and directed.
PCC (1:2:4) type B-2 using 40 mm graded crushed stone aggregates as in surface channel and drains complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for forming 12mm thick Expansion joints filed with pre-formed bituminous filler and top 30mm primed and sealed with sealing compound, Grade 'A' for 200mm thickness of slab complete all as specified and directed.
M&L for forming Contraction (Dummy) joints 65mm deep x 10 mm wide, filed with sealing compund, Grade 'A' for 200mm thickness of slab complete all as speified and directed.

Taking up or down Gl/cast iron/ductile iron water pipeline 80 mm bore and connections including cleaning for refixing or removal to store all as directed. Note:- Excavation for taking out pipe line shall be carried out manually and paid separately in respective item of schedule. Any damage to pipe during taking out shall be made good by the contractor at no extra cost.
Taking up or down Gl/cast iron/ductile iron water pipeline 100 mm bore and connections including cleaning for refixing or removal to store all as directed. Note:- Excavation for taking out pipe line shall be carried out manually and paid separately in respective item of schedule. Any damage to pipe during taking out shall be made good by the contractor at no extra cost.
Relaying of old serviceable pipe and all connections obtained from items including cleaning of pipe (externally & internally) by using wire brush, water etc and fixing the old pipe with new fittings at new/old position complete all as specified and directed for the following sizes:-
a) 50 mm bore
b) 80 mm bore
c) 100 mm bore
Note:- Any damage to Pipes under above mentioned items during taking out shall be made good by the contractor at no extra cost. Excavation for laying Gl pipe shall be paid separately.
M&L for sand cushioning to underground cables 8 cm thick before laying the cables and 15 cm thick after laying, stretching and testing the cable.
Supply and fix cable jointing kit for 11 KV grade cable for straight through cold shrink type joint complete with jointing material and accessories suitable for 3 core XLPE, armoured, Aluminium conductor cable of 120 Sqmm to 185 Sqmm, Indoor/Outdoor type.
Supply and fix cable jointing kit for 1.1 KV grade cable for straight through joint complete with jointing material heat Shrink type and accessories suitable for 4 core XLPE, armoured. aluminium conductor cable of 16 Sqmm to 50 Sqmm, Indoor/Outdoor type.

Notes:- a) Testing of HT cable before taking out existing HT serviceable cable all as directed by Engr-in-Charge, are deemed to be included in item rate quoted by the bidder. b) Any damage to HT serviceable cable during taking out shall be made good by the contractor at no extra cost. c) Excavation for taking out HT cable shall be carried out manually and paid separately in respective item of schedule.
M&L for re-laying HT serviceable cable retrieved from ser item No 77 above of any size and depth including fixing of cable route indicator in trenches at new location as and where directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note:- a) Testing of HT cable after laying at new location all as directed by Engr-in-Charge quoted rate by the bidder are deemed to be included in item rate. b) Any damage to HT serviceable cable during relaying shall be made good by the contractor at no extra cost. c) Excavation for relaying of HT cable shall be paid separately in respective item of schedule.
M&L for taking out carefully LT serviceable cable any size and depth including route indicator, cable covers/bricks from trenches carefully for re-use at new location as and where directed by Engr-in-Charge. Taking down HT existing bus bar panel after disconnecting all cable joint/connections and re-fix the same which one is in working condition as and where directed including making all cable connections and foundation work as directed by Engineer-in-Charge & deposit the unserviceable bus-bar/feeder pillar to E/M store.
Supply laying & testing in trenches or passing through pipe/ducts, fixed to wall or poles XPLE insulated screened PVC sheathed galvanized steel strip or wire armoured electric power cable (Heavy duty) with stranded aluminium conductor 11000 grade of cross sectional area 185 Sqmm 3 core 11/6.35 KV rated suitable for earthed system including testing and commissioning all as specified and directed Note : (Excavation earth work, sand cushioning brick covers and Gl pipe etc shall be measured and paid separately.
