NOTES for item No 1.00 to 3.00: (a) Contractor shall employ one No Skilled fitter general mechanic/ Electrician having minimum ITI qualification from Govt recognised institute with adequate knowledge & minimum 2 years experience in maint & operation of DG sets for each shift for 08 hours & duty timing will be decided by Engineer-in-Charge (Total - 03 Nos for water supply installation at Baithkol, 02 Nos for water supply installation at hyland and 01 No for water supply installation at DDG (PI) ). The operator must be competent to carry out the minor maint all as directed. (i) The contractor shall pay the wages to the electrician/ Fitter general mechanic/ Valve operators (as applicable) through e-payment i.e Aadhar linked bank accounts(Credit to their bank account). Engr-in-Charge shall ensure that e-payment made to electrician/ Fitter general mechanic /Valve operators and their wages shall not be less than prevailing minimum wages fixed by state Govt or central Govt whichever is more. Monthly e-banking statement shall be furnished by the contractor to the Engineer-in-Charge and the same shall be kept in record duly verified. (ii) It is the responsibility of contractor to deposit the Employees Provident Fund (EPF) to the concerned authority as per the prevailing scales as laid down by the Ministry of labour for all Electrician/operator/helper (as applicable) and necessay proof to this regard shall be submitted to GE for verification and records. The quoted rate shall be deemed to be included of above provisions. In case contractor fails to produce the proof of EPF, he shall be liable for action as deemed fit. Decision of GE in this regard shall be final and binding.

(b) The unit rate quoted shall be deemed to include for cost of labour for daily routine maintenance as mentioned in particular specifications for trouble free functioning of installations. (c) The operator employed by the contractor shall be capable of carrying out minor maintenance & unit rate quoted shall be deemed to be include for cost of stationery, ink cartidge for printer, cotton waste ,petroleum jelly for battery terminals etc. (d) The Contractor shall maintain proper records of all kinds of daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, half yearly and yearly or whatsoever maint is carried out during contract period in a binded book / register and shall obtain the signature of Engineer-in-Charge. (e) Cost of stationery is deemed to include in the unit rate quoted against Item No 1.00 to 3.00 of Sch 'A'. (f) The contractor will ensure general area cleanliness and upkeep of the installation on daily basis.

(g) The contractor shall maintain all the registers under various labour law rules, 2017 and shall produce to GE and as well as officers detailed by labour department. (h) Cost of routine maintenance spares will be measured and paid separately under respective items here in after. However, cost of labour is deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted above. (j) The unit rate quoted shall deemed include for maintenance for earthpits, cutting & removing of vegitation and upkeep of the surrounding area, all around the bldg upto 6m from the plinth protection all as directed by Engr-in-Charge. In case of failure, a penalty of Rs 2000/- per month will be levied and recovered from dues. (k) The Contractor shall not employ same tradesman continuously for more than 11 months during the Contract period of 11 months. (l) In case of failure due to absence of operative staff, the contractor shall be liable to pay compensation at twice the cost of a day’s Manning & Operation derived from pro rata rate of Sch ‘A’ quoted rates. (m) The contractor shall provide 02 uniforms to each operator & helper and design of uniform shall be got approved from Engineer-in-charge. In case contractor fails to provide the uniform, recovery @ of Rs 1200/- per uniform will be recovered. (n) The rate quoted shall deemed to be inclusive of safety gear & required tools for minor maintenance. In case of failure to provide tools kit & safety kit (Gum boots-02 pairs, hand gloves), a penalty of Rs 3000/- will be recovered and levied.

(o) The operator shall check level of distilled water in battery & top up as and when required. (p) Check battery terminals, if found loose, tighten it property. (q) The quoted rate is deemed to be inclusive of tools & testing instruments required for operation & maintenance of pump set & DG sets. (r) Power supply for operation of electric driven pump set will be made available by dept free of cost. (s) Fuel for operation of DG Sets will be provided through issue voucher. (t) Chemicals for chlorination/dozing and engine oil will be measured & paid saperately under respective items here in below however cost of labour is deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted against item No 1.00 to 3.00 above.

Supply only Calcium based granular disinfectant having chlorine concentration 65%-70% all as specified and as directed.

Supply only Alum lump grade 1st qualityall as specified and as directed.

Supply only Engine oil grade 15 W-40 for routine maintanance and topping up all as directed.

Dismantling electric motor from the centrifugal pumpset/ monoblock/ submersible of capacity 7.5 HP of any make, 3 phase 415 V, opening the motor for rewinding using super enamelled copper wire of suitable gauge to match with the existing winding including varnishing & drying and re-assembling the motor, connecting with pumpset with proper alignment and testing complete through authorised service engineer all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

S & F in repair 80 mm dia water meter CI body flanged and drilled both ends conforming to IS 2373/81 mechanical driven straight reading including 80 mm dia CI stainer all as specified and as directed.

S & F in repair MCCB 100 Amps rupturing capacity 25 KA 4 pole 415 V AC with adjustable thermal setting complete all as specified and as directed. MAKE: Indo Asian Cat Part No. 830272 or equivalent in Legrand/ Havells/ Schneider/ L&T as approved by GE.

S & F in repair MCCB 160 Amps rupturing capacity 25 KA 3 pole 415 V AC with adjustable thermal setting complete all as specified and as directed. MAKE: Indo Asian Cat Part No. 830290 or equivalent in Legrand/ Havells/ Schneider/ L&T as approved by GE.

S & F in repair MCB TPN 63 Amps, 415 V AC, C curve complete all as specified and as directed. MAKE: Indo Asian Cat Part No. 811220 or equivalent in Legrand/ Havells/ Schneider/ L&T as approved by GE.
