Note:- Tile shall be of premium quality (first quality) of reputed manufacturer like NITCO, KAJARIA, SOMANI, ORIENT, RAK & JOHNSON. (HSR 14.89)

Providing & fixing vitrified tiles of size 600mm x 600mm of approved make in skirting/dados laid in any pattern as specified over base of 12mm thick cement coarse sand mortor 1:3 and jointed with white cement slurry mixed with pigment to match the shade to tiles. Note:- Tile shall be of premium quality (first quality) of reputed manufacturer like: NITCO, KAJARIA, SOMANI, ORIENT, RAK & JOHNSON. (Double charged tiles shall be used as approved by Engineer in charge. (HSR 14.90).

Providing and fixing ceramic tiles / anti skid tile of size 400 mm x 400mm or above size of approved make in flooring, laid in any pattern as specified over base of 20mm thick cement coarse sand mortar 1:3 and jointed with white cement slurry mixed with pigment to match the shade of tiles. Note:- Tile shall be of premium quality (first quality) of reputed manufacturer like NITCO, KAJARIA, SOMANI, ORIENT, RAK & JOHNSON. (HSR 14.91)

Providing & fixing 1st quality ceramic glazed wall tiles confirming to I.S. 15622 (thickness to be specified by the manufacturer) of approved make in all colors, shades except burgundy, bottle green, black of any size as approved by Engineer-In-Charge in skirting, risers of steps and dados over 12mm thick bed of cement mortar 1:3 coarse and jointed with grey cement slurry, including pointing in white cement mixed with pigment of matching shades complete. Painting two coats with readymixed paint in all shades on old wood work to give an even shade including rubbing down old paint. [HSR 16.6]

Preparation of plastered or concrete surfaces for painting, including sand papering the surface, applying one coat of linseed oil and filling with approved quality filler, consisting of white lead, linseed oil, varnish and chalk mitti including finishing surface to the required finish, complete. (HSR 16.24)

Painting two coats with plastic emulsion paint on walls on new work to give an even shade. (Note:- First quality paint/primer of reputed make firm such as Goodlass-Nerolac, Berger, Garware, Jenson, Nicholson, Asian & Shalimar Shall be used as approved by Engineer-in-charge in writing, Drum of paint shall be opened in presence of Engineer-in-charge). (HSR 16.30)

Providing and applying two coats white cement based putty over plastered surface and grindling the surface smooth with sand paper to get an even and smooth finish including cost and carriage of all material, labour charges, scaffolding, sundries etc. complete. (Note:- reputed make Putty such as J.K./ Birla shall be used as approved by Engineer-in-charge). (HSR 16.81).

Providing and fixing commercial type block board, plain lining, butt jointed, including wooden plugs (teak) placed at 45 cm to 60 cm centres, complete with necessary nails (frame work shall be payable extra). [HSR 17.49] b) 19 mm thick

Cost of aluminium fittings complete for doors and windows such as tower bolts, handles etc. and screws for these fittings (excluding sliding bolts) [HSR 17.72b). for double leaf shutter.

Recovery items:- The rates quoted against recovery items will not be included in the total amount rather it will be deducted while calculating financial statement of the agency. Dismantiling of bricks and Removing of Door and windos in the DNIT. In case it is not possible to use this material on the work, the agency can take away this material after approval from employer. This material will be issued at the price quoted by the agency. However the reserve price is as under:- i) Door @ 500/- Each

ii) Windows @ 300/- Each

iii) Ventilator @ 100/- Each Note:- All quantities of the above materials have been worked out on the basis of theoretical quantities laid on this building. However, agency may visit site before quoting rates and assess the extent of retrieved material. There shall be no measurement after actual dismantling and if material after dismantling is found on lesser side, no claim of agency on this score will be entertained and full recovery on the basis of quoted rate and quantity exhibited in the BOQ shall be made. The reserve rates are minimum rates to be used as base for quoting purchase rate by the agency. No rates below the reserve price will be entertained and reserve price will be considered for all purposes in case the agency quotes lesser than reserve price. Note:- 1. In case of any difference in the unit & nomenclature of any of the HSR Items of Civil, P.H. work depicted in this DNIT and that given in HSR, the unit and nomenclature given in HSR shall be applicable. 2. Only reputed make material will be used (make/brand exhibited in HSR and exhibited in approved standard document) as approved by Engineer-in-charge, while executing various items/works at site.
