Design, supply, installation/ construction, commissioning & testing of Water treatment plant of capacity 10000 gallon(UK) per hour to bring down the bore well raw water with parameters as given in here-in-after, suitably treated to continuously supply of swimming pool as per treated water parameters mentioned here-in-after with all civil engineering works for water treatment plants and including following components and interconnections between different components of WTP so as to provide a functional water treatment plant complete all as specified and as directed. (a) OXIDATION CHAMBER:- (i) Oxidation chamber of 10000 gallon(UK) per hour, closed type with catalytic media, under bed plate fitted with strainers, working pressure : 3 to 5 kg/cm² along with suitable capacity of electric driven air compressor with necessary connections with required size of compressed air line and control valves for compressed air . (ii) Capacity : 10000 GPH / 45000 LPH (iii) Thickness of mild steel shell body, dish end, bed plate shall not less than 8 mm. (iv) MNO2 compound of suitable quantity as per design. (v) Material of construction & Construction Code IS :2062 & IS :2825 (Unfired Pressure Vessel) Cont.....

(b) IRON REMOVAL FILTE CUM PRESSURE FILTER :-Iron Removal Filte of 10000 gallon(UK) per hour, closed type with filter media under bed plate fitted with strainers, Working pressure : 3.5 kg/cm² with arm collector or nozzle plate including inlet, outlet wash out, back wash, water drain pipe connection with butter fly type control valves as required, sand dump port, pressure gauge dial type, support filter media:– 01 No. (c) AIR COMPRESSOR :- Rotary type Air Compressor of air discharge capacity 662 Ltr/min @ 11.0 Kg/cm², Single stage double cylinder type of capacity 5.0 HP,speed 700 rpm and having storage tank of capacity 275 Ltr including belt, belt guard, Motor Starter, Air receiver, Pressure Switch, Pipe Lines etc. all as per OEM's design. (d) WATER SOFTENING PLANT :-Water Softening Plant as designed by the OEM, materials Code : IS 2062 (maximum working pressure 3.5kg/cm2) and complete with the following accessories :- (i) Frontal Pipe line of 80 or 100mm dia (Medicum Grade) - 01 set (ii) Cast Iron Butterfly valve of 100 mmm dia - 05 Nos (iii) Guard Media (gravels) - as per OEM's design. (iv) Under Bed plate system fitted with PVC strainer double nut type as per OEM's design. (v) PVC Injector for Brine solurion - As per OEM design. (vi) Pressure guages - 02 No, air vent systems, back washing facilities (vii) HDPE Tank for Brine Solution - 1000 Ltrs - 01 No (e) PIPE LINE & VALVES:- (i) Frontal Pipe line to be made with medium grade ERW M.S. Pipe of 100 / 80 mm bore ( As per OEM's design) including all M.S. pipe fittings / flanges / Nuts, Bolts, Washers / Gaskets etc. and necessary welding, drilling , threading complete as required at site. (ii) Inlet connection from existing raw water pipe line to filter and outlet connection from filter to the delivery pipeline to UG Sump (9.0 RM approx), to be made with medium grade ERW M.S. The cost of drawing & vetting charge shall be deemed to be inclusive in quoted rate.

(ii) The thickness of the plate for shell body, dish end and bed plate shall have to be designed as described in IS - 2825 for determining the thickness based on the flow rate of fluid as mentioned in the above IS. In any case the flow rate shall not be considered beyond the specified range as mentioned in the IS- 2825. (iii) Necessary foundation for installation of plant shall be provided as per manufacturer's recommendation. Cost of PCC foundation, foot stool foundation including drain pipe and sub-assemblies pipes , painting and misc fitting like TEE, Bends, valve, electrical connections etc are deemed to include in quoted rate. (iv) Taking down old WTP components and including disconnecting accessories and shifted to MES store yard of GE and cost of the same shall be deemed to be inclusive in quoted rate.(v) The plants shall be got commissioned from manufacture and a certificate to this effect shall be produced from manufacture after installation. (vi) Display board for water flow, SOP, routine maintenance to be submitted after installation. (vii) WTP shall be installation for existing WPT in case any additions /alteration are required related WTP for functional same shall be provide as per manufacturers' recommendation and cost of the same shall deemed to be included in the quoted rate. Accordingly bidder/tenderer is advised to visit site before quoting his offer and nothing will be paid on this account. (viii) The cost of all types of activated Filter Media shall deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted. (ix) Installation and commissioning work shall be carried out in presence of Engineer of OEM. (x) Painting :- Internal surface shall be painted with lead free Epoxy paint and outside surface with Synthetic Enamel paint over two coats of red oxide primer as per OEM recommendation (xi) Colour coding of pipe lines, arrow marking and numbering of valves shall be done as per latest IS Code. (xii) The treated water should be tested by the contractor from National Test House /IIT or any Govt Engineering college/ Govt University and cost of the same shall be deemed to be inclusive in quoted rate.

Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5m in width and 1.5m depth for taking out and laying CI/GI pipes and getting out in soft/ loose soil all as specified and directed.

Returning filling including spreading , leveling ,watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated surplus soil not exceeding 50m and depositing where directed at a level not exc 1.5m above the starting points in soil all as specified and directed.

Supply and laying/ fixing of MS steel ERW pipe 300 mm nominal dia and 4.5 mm thickness including cutting, threading, welding etc. and providing all fittings required for joints such as welding screw joints, anchors, tees, elbows, reducers, hinges, flanges, gasket, nuts, bolts and washers etc. including painting of pipes and fittings with approved anti corrosive and anti marine colour paint over a coat of ready mixed primer, confirming to IS: 3589-2001 complete all as directed and specified.

Supply and laying/ fixing of MS steel ERW pipe 200 mm nominal dia and 4.5 mm thickness including cutting, threading, welding etc. and providing all fittings required for joints such as welding screw joints, anchors, tees, elbows, reducers, hinges, flanges, gasket, nuts, bolts and washers etc. including painting of pipes and fittings with approved anti corrosive and anti marine colour paint over a coat of ready mixed primer, confirming to IS: 3589-2001 complete all as directed and specified.

Material and labour for construction of brick masonry chamber with subclass `B' brick in CM (1:6) with PCC (1:4:8) type D2 for foundation of internal dimension of 60cmx60cmx60cm including 15mm thick plastering in CM (1:4) inside the chamber and on the external portion exposed above ground level, including 3mm thick MS cover welded around with MS flat iron of size 40x6mm including MS angle iron frame of size 40x40x6mm with locking arrangement including painting with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer including necessary earthwork in soft/loose soil well ramming of soil around the constructed chamber all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.
