Excavation in trenches, not exc 1.5 m wide and n. exc 1.5 m depth; or n exc 10 Sqm on plan and n exc 1.5 m in depth for foundations of poles, struts, stays etc. or laying underground cable etc. in soft/loose soil, & getting out including taking out old brick or precast cable cover for reuse complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

All as per item No 1 above but depth exceeding 1.5m and not exceeding 3.0m

Returning, filling in, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers n.exc 25cm thick complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge

Removal of excavated surplus soil to a distance n.exc 50m and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 m above the starting point complete all as specified & directed by Engineer-in-charge .

M & L for sand cushioning with dry coarse sand to under ground cable 23 cm thick, 8 cm thick below the cable and 15 cm thick after laying the cable complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note : Thickness after punning shall be considered for payment.

Laying only bricks of any class and of any size retrived vide item No. 1 above, length of bricks accorss the length of cable complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply and laying well burnt bricks old size class 'B' old laid dry flat for protection over the cable, width equal to the length of cable complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M & L for PCC (1:3:6) typeC-2 using 40mm graded stone aggregate as in foundation for stays & mass concrete including necessary form work and fair finishing complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge

M & L for PCC (1:2:4) type B-1 using 20 mm graded stone aggregate as in coping of poles etc including weathering, slightly rounded or chamfered angle and throating, necessary form work and fair finishing all exposed faces of concrete without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge

Re-stretching aluminum conductor steel reinforced (ACSR) of any size on over head lines fixed on insulators from 02/04 pole structure after loosening from insulators and fixing on pin, Disc insulator same with new aluminum binding wire 2mm dia complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Re-stretching GI earth wire 4mm dia on HT/ LT poles as continous earth wire or for guarding and cradles including binding with 1.63mm dia GI binding wire complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Cutting/ trimming of tree branches not exc 10cm girth touching/approaching the LT/HT overhead lines upto 3 metre width on each side with hacksaw/axe to clear the LT/HT line including disposal of trimmed branches 100 Metre away inside the cantonment area & clearing site complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

S & F in replacement shackle type insulators, vitreous porcelain white, brown or green for working pressure 1100 volts grade of 75 mm height and 90 mm dia including galvanized mild steel straps of 31mm x 3mm size,12mm dia insulator bolts, washers and nuts complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

S & F in replacement pre-stressed cement concrete pole, 9 metre long of cross section 102mm x 172mm at top and 102mm x 279mm at bottom, class 10, complying with requirements of IS-1678-1998 errecting truly in vertical position including painting of poles with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of primer in alternate strip of 30cm each in black and white colour upto 1.5 metre height from top of PCC pedestal/coping of poles and numbering of poles with synthetic enamel paint Black in 80mm high letters over 150mm x 230mm yellow base made from synthetic enamel paint complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge

S & F in replacement stay assembly complete with accessories as shown in electrical plate No 1 using stay rod 16 mm dia x 2.15 metre long, stay bow 14mm dia and stay plate 30 cm x 30 cm x 6 mm including stay wire 8 SWG x 7 strands, loop type insulator, stay clamps and painting to exposed surfaces of mild steel work with two coats of aluminum paint over a coat of red oxide primer, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note : Excavation , earth work, PCC in foundation, loop type insulator, stay clamp etc shall be measured and paid separately under respective item of BOQ.

S & F in replacement cross arms, bracings, stiffeners, supports, clamps and back plates fabricated from structural steel sections including nuts, bolts, washers, welding, binding cold or hot, drilling holes for bolts, in any shape or size as indicated or directed complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note : Exposed steel surface shall be treated with two coats of aluminium paint over a coat of red oxide primer and unexposed surface of steel sections shall be applied one coat of red oxide primer.

S & F & stretching in replacement aluminium conductor steel, reinforced (ACSR) of any size fixed on HT/LT poles fixed on insulators and binding with & including binding wire 14 SWG complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge

S&F in replacement GI wire including stretching on HT/LT poles as in continuous earth wire, stay wire, guard cradle hexagonal or rectangular fabricated out of 3.15 or 4mm dia galvanized steel wire including mild steel wire of 1.63mm dia complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for earthing complete with galvanised steel earth plate electrode 60 cm x 60 cm x 6 mm thick burried directly in ground vertically to a depth not less than 2.25 metre below ground level with top edge of earth plate at a depth not less than 1.5 metre below ground level, earth plate surrounded by 15cm thick packed layer of charcoal dust and common salt, connected to galvanized iron strip 32mm x 6mm thick as earth lead by means of bolts, nuts and washers of galvanised iron or steel and thimbles and other end of the earth strip connected to earthing test point/equipment and protected by galvanised iron pipe light grade 50mm dia upto earthing test point/equipment fixed with 2 Nos of mild steel clamp made out 25mm x 3mm flat iron and perforated water pipe 20mm dia GI medium grade and top with socket & plug and bottom connected to earth plate by slit and two bolts/nuts/washers, GI protection pipe 40mm bore light grade to PCC chamber in cement concrete (1:3:6) type C-1 and CI cover with frame all as shown in electrical plate No. 3 of MES Schedule Part-I of SSR-2009. Note:- (i) Outer edge of earth pit shall be 1 metre away from the outer edge of PCC chamber. (ii) GI strip upto earth test point/equipment is included in this item. (iii) Water pipe shall be provided in slantling position. (iv) Length of earth lead strip & protection pipe shall be upto 7.5mtr

Supply, laying, jointing testing and commissioning in replacement LT underground electric power cable crossed linked polyethylene (XLPE) insulated, galvanised steel strip or wire armoured ISI-7098 marked, with multi stranded aluminium conductor heavy duty 1100 volts with cross sectional area 25 Sqmm, 4 core, laid in trenches/ ducts/ fixed on poles/wall/laid under roads/paths/drain/culverts or passing through pipes complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note : Excavation, earth work, sand coushioning, protection brick/tiles/block and pipe shall be measured and paid separately under respective items of this BOQ.

Supply and spreading 20mm graded stone aggregate under GO/DO structures, outdoor sub stations after cleaning the surface complete all as specified & directed by Engineer-in-charge .

S & F in replacement GI pipe 40 mm bore light grade for protection of cable including provision of clamps, nuts, bolts etc required for fixing pipe along pole / wall / laid under the road / laid under the floor or in trenches complete all as specified and directred by Engineer-in-Charge.

S&F MCCB, 3 phase 4 pole, 415 volt of capacity 160 Amp, short circuit, breaking capacity not less than 35 KA , with fixed thermal and fixed magnetic setting including thimbles, nuts, bolts ,washers etc disconnecting and making incoming , out going connections extn terminals etc.complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
