SPL REPAIR TO ROAD PATH HARDSTANDING IN FRONT OF HQ PUPSA TO CSD SUB AREA CSD TO BHAGAT CHOWK AND STN ROAD UNDER GE SOUTH MEERUT CANTT

M & L for Repair to potholes any depth, not exc 1 sq m each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths, etc. cutting arounds edges to at least 25mm in depth, making good by filling in screened & graded road metal, watering and well ramming (including supply of road metal) making good by applying tack coat at 5 kg per 10 sq m. putting in premixed bituminous macadam, well rammed and sealed with binder 9.8 kg per 10 sq m, blinded with 0.09 cum of stone chippings, 6.30 mm size and again will rammed (including supply or premixed macadam, binder and chippings), depth of potholes exc 30 mm rolled and compacted complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for 75mm thick (compacted thickness) WBM, with Lime stone sand stone Flint or Quartzite coarse aggregates of grading 2 (63 to 40mm size) or of grading 3 (50 to 20mm size), spread, rolled & consolidated to gradient materials & camber required including scarifying the existing surface exc 50 mm & n.exc 100 mm deep complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Preparation of newly WBM surfaces of roads by brushing with mechanical means, wire brushes for removing caked mud etc. sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc and applying by providing evenly a priming / tack coat with bituminous primer (VG-10) viscosity grade @ 10 Kg per 10 Sqm complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for Preparing surfaces of existing black top surface of road with wire brushes with mechanical for removing caked mud etc and sweeping with brooms and finally fanning to clear the surfaces with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc and applying priming /tack coat with bituminous primer (VG-10) viscosity grade @ 5 Kg per 10 Sqm complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for bituminous premixed semi dense asphaltic concrete 30 mm thick (consolidated & compacted thickness) stone chippings mixed with 5.5% of binder contents paving bitumen (VG-30 ) viscosity grade by weight of total mix and mixed in hot mix plant, transported to site on tippers and laid with a hydrostatic paver finisher with sensor control to the required grade, level and alignment and rolled to a uniform smooth surface with 8 to 10 tonne power roller & smooth wheeled, vibratory and tandem rollers to achieve the desired compaction and required gradient and camber etc complete all as specified and directed. Note :- (a) 05 Nos of core cutter test to be carried out by contractor on his own cost after 07 days from date of laying of SDAC at location directed by Engineer-in-Charge and test report to be submitted before processing RAR/Payment. (CTL/IIT Roorkee / any Govt Institute as approved by GE). (b) The unit rates are worked out on the basis of binder content of 5.5% by total mix. Any addition / deduction in the actual binder content used, the rate shall be adjusted as per given in SSR-II.

M&L for premix bituminous macadam mixed with paving bitumen 4% (by weight of total mix) binder content (VG-30) viscosity grade and penitration rolled and laid with a hydrostatic paver finisher with sensor control to the required grade, level and alignment, and rolled to a uniform smooth surface with 8 to 10 tonne power roller & smooth wheeled, vibratory and tandem rollers to achieve the desired compaction and required gradient and camber etc complete all as specified and directed. Note :- (a) 05 Nos of core cutter test to be carried out by contractor on his own cost before laying of SDAC on BM surface at location directed by Engineer-in-Charge and test report to be submitted before processing RAR/Payment. Any addition / deduction in the actual binder content used, the rate shall be adjusted as per given in SSR-II.

M&L for cleaning the road surface of dirt, oil/grease spots and foreign materials etc & preparing bituminous surfaces of road and applying 2.0 mm thick road marking strips & exc. 10 cm wide but n.exc 15 cm wide width centre lines, edge line , stop lines, dashes, arrows etc. with applying theromoplastic reflective paint using hot mark thermoplastic paint ( Hot application) white/golden yellow by ingredient, modern propelled road special applicator machine all as per manufacturers instruction including all ingredient such as binder glass beads Titanium dioxide calcium carbonate lintar fillers thermoplastic requirement of glass beads shall be as per the table no. 800-4 0f MORTH specification including spraying of glass beads instruction etc complete all as specified and directed.

Surface excavation n.exc (not exceeding) 30 cm deep and averaging 15 cm deep and getting out in soft/ loose soil complete all as specified & directed.

Excavation in trenches , not exc 1.5 metre wide and not exc 1.5 metre in depth for foundation etc. or for manholes, pier holes, laying of pipes, etc. not exc 10 sq metre on plan and not exc 1.5 metre in depth and getting out insoft/ loose soil, complete all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated materials (soils) to a distance not exc. 50 metre and depositing where directed at a level not exc. 1.50 above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.
