Civil Works: Earthwork in excavation for foundation trenches of walls, retaining walls, footings of column, steps, septic tank etc. including refilling (return filling) the quantity as necessary after completion of work, breaking clods in return filling, dressing, watering and ramming etc. and removal of surplus earth with all lead and lifts as directed and specified in the following classification of soils including bailing out water where necessary as directed and specified. Shuttering and shoring the earth at different levels in foundations where necessary with required prop, struts, planks, timbers, nails etc. including dewatering if necessary, complete as directed and specified (measurement to be taken in the face area timbered) (a) Upto a depth of 1.5 metre

Earth/ sand filling in plinth in layers not more than 150mm thick including necessary carriage, watering, ramming etc. complete as directed and specified including payment of land compensation, forest royalty, sales tax and other duties and taxes as may be necessary. (c) With river sand or silt (predominantly non plastic) by truck carriage including loading and unloading.

Plain cement concrete works with coarse aggregate of sizes 13mm to 32mm in foundation bed for footing steps, walls, brick works etc. as directed and specified including dewatering if necessary, and curing complete (shuttering where necessary shall be measured and paid separately). (a) In prop 1cement: 3 sand :6 coarse aggregate by volume

Providing and laying 25mm thick damp proof course with cement concrete in prop 1:1.5:3 with graded stone agg. of 10mm down nominal size including providing approved damp proof admixture in proportion as recommended by the manufacturer including curing etc. complete as directed.

Plain cement concrete apron in prop 1:4:8 with 20mm down graded coarse agg. Over soling including neat cement finish using cement slurry 2.75Kg. of cement per sq.m. of floor (soling to be measured separately). (b) 50mm thick

Providing and laying plain/reinforced cement croncrete works cement, coarse sand & 20mm down graded stone aggregate including dewatering if necessary, and curing complete but excluding cost of form work and reinforcement for reinforced cement concrete work (form work and reinforcement will be measured and paid separately) (I) Using Mixer Machine (A) In substructure up to plinth level Foundation, footing, columns with base tie and plinth beam, pile cap, base slab, retaining walls, walls of septic tank, inspection pit and the like and other works not less than 100mm thick up to plinth level. Providing soling in foundation and under floor with stone/ best quality picked jhama brick, sand packed and laid to level and in panel after preparing the subgrade as directed including all labour and materials and if necessary dewatering, complete. (a).Brick on flat soling.

Brick work in cement morter with 1st class brick including racking out joints and dewatering if necessary, and curing complete as directed in sub-structure up to plinth level. (I) In Sub-structure upto plinth level including dewatering if necessary (a) In proportion 1:3.

230mm thick brick wall in cement morter with 1st class brick including racking out joints and curing complete as directed in structure (I) In Sub-structure upto plinth level including dewatering if necessary (a). In proportion 1:3.

Cement concrete works in topping 1:1:2 (1cement :1sand :2 graded aggregates on R.C.C floor, tread and rise of steps finished with a floating coat of neat cement using cement slurry for bond @ 2.75 kg.of cement per sq. m. of floor to be laid in panels including curing complete as directed. (b) 20 mm thick.

Supplying, fitting and fixing 38mm thick (finished size) wooden flooring with sal wood plank butt jointed, fitted on sal wood joist of size 100mm x 125mm spaced not more than 900mm apart fitted with 16mm dia bolt and nuts with iron clamp of 50mm x 5mm size inserting in the cement concrete floor base (floor base to be measured and paid separately) including providing 25mm thick damp proof course with water proofing compound as recommended by the manufacturer over C.C floor base including providing kiricide oiling two coats to the timber joists, underside of the flooring planks, two coats of anti-corrosive paint to the iron works, including providing ventilation gaps for the timber works of specified size (75mm x 75mm) covered with welded mesh fabrics at the face of the gap including dressing, levelling, finishing complete as specified and directed by the department at all levels (measurement shall be taken at the finished area of the works).

Providing Bare Galvalume Sheet Roofing at all levels including fitting and fixing self drilling, self tapping screws complete. (Roof trusses, purlins etc. to be measured and paid separately.) Providing,fitting and fixing anodised aluminuim framed glazed doors with anodised aluminium frame made of 63mm x 38mm x 2.5mm section of approved brand with door style of size 50mm x 45mm x 2.0mm, top rails 50mm x 45mm x 2.5mm, middle rail 100mm x 45mm x 2mm and bottom rails 100mm x 45mm x 2.5mm fitted with glazing clip, special type rubber gasket complete including hydraulic floor spring, pivot, tower bolt in each leaf, aluminium door handle, lock, angles, cleat etc complete as specified and directed by the department at all levels. (n) Distempering two coats with oil bound distemper of approved brand and manufacture and of required shade on new wall surface to give an even shade, over and including a priming coat with alkali resistant primer of approved brand and manufacture after throughly brooming the surface free from mortar dropings and other foreign matter and also including preparing the surface even and sand papered smooth. a) Applying one coat of cement primer of approved brand and manufacture on new wall surface after throughly brooming the surfaces free from mortar droppings and other foreign matter and including preparing the surface even and sand papered smooth.

Providing surface preparation for walls, celling etc.using average 1.50 mm thick plaster of paris including clearing, rubbing with sand paper, filling gaps, depression etc. where necessary, with chalk powder and and plaster of paris paste, making the surface even and smooth complete at all levels as specified and directed.

Providing two coats of acrylic water based wall putty/ wall filler of Asian Paints/ Berger/ Dulux over concrete/ cement plaster/ brick walls and ceilings both internal and external after removing all the loosely adhering material from the wall/ ceiling surface with the help of emery stone, putty blade or wire brush, moistening the wall with the help of sufficient quantity of clear water as specified and directed by the department.

Applying one self-priming coat of acrylic emulsion paint of approved brand, thinning by adding water per the specification of manufacturer over freshly plastered wall surface after throughly brooming the surfaces free morter droppings and other foreign matter and including preparing the surface even and sand papered smooth as specified and directed by the department. b) Unicem Raksak

Painting two coats (excluding priming coat) on new wood and wood based surface with enamel paint of approved brand and manufacture (Asian paint/ Berger paint/ ICI paint/ J & N paint/ Nerolac) to give an even shade including cleaning the surfaces of all dirt, dust and other foreign matter sand papering and stopping.
