SPECIAL REPAIR TO EXTERNAL SURFACES OF SCHOOL BUILDING OF KENDRIYA VIDYALAYA LUCKNOW CANTT UNDER GE (WEST) LUCKNOW

M&L for brickwork with fly ash bricks, straight or curved on plan exc 6m mean radius, built in CM 1:6 and including demolition of brick or stone boulder masonry, built in cement mortar including all quoins, arches, Pillars etc but excluding ashlar facings, dressed stone work and precast concrete articles complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for rendering/plaster by using readymix mixture of thickness 10 mm to 12 mm on newly prepared internalsurface and plastering the wall surface with white cement based polymer modified self curing mortar complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for rendering/plaster by using readymix mixture of thickness 12 mm to 15 mm on newly prepared externalsurface and plastering the wall surface with white cement based polymer modified self curing mortar,with water proofing compound (@ 3% by weight of cement) complete all as specified and directed. (Note:- Water proofing ompound shall be measured and paid separately.)

M&L for rendering/plaster by using readymix mixture of thickness 12 mm to 15 mm on newly prepared surface and plastering the wall surface with white cement based polymer modified self curing mortar, (@ 3% by weight of cement) and including taking down cement or cement lime plaster on brick or stone walls etc. including raking out joints, hacking for key, scrubbing down with water etc complete all as specified and directed.. (Note:- Water proofing compound shall be measured and paid separately.)

M&L for plaster by using readymix mixture of thickness 5 mm to 7 mm in ceiling and including taking down cement or cement lime plaster, raking out joints and preparing plastering the wall surface with white cement based polymer modified self curing mortar, including disposal of rubbish, all complete as per the direction of Engineer-in-Charge

M & L for preparation of new plastered surfaces of walls and applying two coats of OBD over a coat of 1mm thick wall care putty complete all as specified and directed. Note: Oil bound distemper shall be carried out through roller.

M & L for preparation of new plastered surfaces of fineshed walls and applying two coats of 100% Premium acrylic emulsion paint having VOC less than50 gm/litre and UV resistance as per IS 15489 : 2004, Alkali & Fungal resistance, dirt resistance exterior paint of required shade (Company Depot Tinted) with silicon additives @ 1.43 litre/10 Sqm over and inculding priming coat of exterior primer applied @ 0.90 litre/10 Sqm complete all as specified and directed. Note :- Primer and emulsion to be carried out through air less spray machine (Mechanical means). The work for periodical services shall include the following and the rates quoted by the bidder shall include the same:- (a) The work pertaining to periodical services shall be executed by the contractor as per MoU from authorised applicator through manufacturer of the materials like Exterior Emulsion paint, putty etc after approval by the GE. (b) The contractor shall upload with the documents under cover-I "Memorandum of Understanding" (MoU) with at least one of the manufacturers mentioned in the contract, failing which the bid shall be laible to be rejected. (c) Use of scaffolding, trestles, ladders,cradles etc necessary for execution of work and protective measures. (d) Removing of Nails, making good holes, cracks etc. (e) Work in patches and in narrow/widths, bands, cornices, pilasters etc and cutting in edge of line where necessary. (f) Spreading and removing covering to doors, windows, floors, fittings etc to protect them from splashes. (g) Washing floors, cleaning glass, joinery electric fittings, wiring etc, Drop and splashes of paint to be cleaned to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge. (h) Sample patch of 10Sqm be prepared considering all the items of periodical and shall be got approved from GE prior to carrying out further work.

M & L for preparation of new plastered surface of ceiling and applying three coats of white wash complete all as specified and directed.

Complete removal of existing treatment on wall/roof projections including facia, corneces etc by scrapping with mechanical sander (having mechanical vaccum mechanism) with sanding pad of appropriate grit to make surface clean, free from dust, loose paint etc by skilld labour complete all as specified and directed.
