REPAIR/MAINTENANCE OF HT PANELS/VCBS, HT CABLES, TRANSFORMERS, RMUS/EARTHINGS AND CONNECTING WORKS AT HQ TC BANGALORE

Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5m wide and n.exc 1.5m in depth for foundation etc and taking out in hard dense soil all asspecified and directed.

Returning filling in including spreading levelling,watering and well ramming not exc 25cm all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated material n.exc 50m and depositing at a level n.exc 1.5m above the starting point all as specified and directed.

Supply and spread riddled earth soil is as permitted by IS1255 for cushioning top and bottom of the cable all as specified and directed.

Supply and laying un-reinforced precast concrets cable cover class HV Type 1 flat size 300x180x40 MM complete all as specified and directed.

Disconnecting the ends of the HT underground cable and taking out the unserviceable cable of any size all as specified and directed.

Supply, laying and testing cable HT XLPE insulated screened PVC bedded, galvanised steel strip or wire armoured heavy duty electric power cables with aluminium conductor 11000 volts grade 3 core cross sectional area 95sqmm all as specified and as directed.

Supply, laying and testing cable HT XLPE insulated screened PVC bedded, galvanised steel strip or wire armoured heavy duty electric power cables with aluminium conductor 11000 volts grade 3 core cross sectional area 185sqmm all as specified and as directed.

Disconnecting both ends of the faulty HT cables of any size and isolating from panel , bringing the HT fault finding machine to site to pinpoint the location of occurance of fault , connecting one end of the HT cable to the machine , energising the cable giving high voltage through the machine to locating the fault , after locating the fault , de-engergise the cable using earth rod ,remove the ends of cable from the machine, Excavating the cable at the fault location & pinpoint the fault, repairing the cable using cable jointing kits and by adding extra HT cable if required at site, jointing the cables as before to the panel and testing complete all as specified and as directed.

NOTE :-i) Fault finding machine, necessary excavation and earth work, as reuired at site T&P, labour element are included in the quoted rates. ii) HT joints / HT cable(if reqd) will be measured & paid under respective item of schedule. iii) The contractor shall bring the fault locating equipment at site with in 02 hours of instruction received from Engineer-in-charge and he shall ensure that the fault is rectified with in 24 hours of receipt of intimation from Engineer-in-charge failing which recovery of Rs 500 per hour shall be recovered from the contractor dues w.e.f the time immediately after the expiry of 24 hours duriation. 4. For the purpose of payment one unit of éach job'shall comprise of detection of faults in a particular stretch of cable which are identificed in that particular stretch, irrespective of number of defects/faults in that particular stretch which are detected during fault detected in that particular stretch shall be considered as one unit.

Material and Labour for jointing and testing out door type heat shrinkable cable end termination joints suitable for 3 core 11 KV HT UG XLPE cable of the size 50 to 95 sqmm including taking out the old unserviceavle joint all as specified and as directed.

All as per item No 10above but of size 120 to 185 Sqmm cross section.

Material and Labour for jointing and testing indoor typeheat shrinkable cable end termination joints suitable for 3 core 11 KV HT UG XLPE cable of the size50 to 95 sqmm including taking out the unservicable joint as specified and as directed.

All as per item No 12 above but of size 120 to 185 Sqmm cross section.

Supply and fixing for jointing HT 11 KV outdoor type Cold shrinkable straight through joint for the size 50 to 95 sqmm all as specified and as directed.

All as per item No 14 above but of size 120 to 185 Sqmm cross section.

Supply and install in replacement of HT 11 KV lightening arrester non linear type complete with all fittings transmission class,discharge capacity 65 KA suitable for 11000 volts complete all as specified and directed .

Supply and Fixing in repairs Danger notice plate of 1.6mm thick mild steel sheet, vitreous enamelled white with letters, figures and skull and bones in signal red colour and fixed with MS clamps, bolts and nuts of approved size for HT 25 x 20cm size all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing in replacement of HT 11 KV outdoor type gang operated outdoor switch triple pole , mechanically operated mounted on insulators and steel frame, wtih operating mechanism worked from ground level for current rating upto 400 Amps all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing in replacement of Expulsion fuses( drop out fuses) 11 KV bracket type 100 amps capacity including nut bolts washers, single pole including mounting on channel complete all as specified and directed.

Collecting the oil samples of transformers installed at HQTC area and carrying out Testing for Dielectric strength and recording on printed form for each samples tested all as specified and directed.

Supply and filling insulating oil (Transformer oil) confirming to IS-335 having dielectric strength not less than 60 KV for topping up in 11/0.433 KV Transformer all as specified and directed (Filling shall be done by on line filtration plant only) .

Material and Labour for Filtration and dehydration of Transformer oil offline by using stream line filtration plant ,the di electric strength to be brought to not less than 60 KV at 2.5 mm gap for 01 min)and testing the oil sample after dehydration complete all as specified and directed. Note :-(a)Test results before and after filtaration shall be recorded. (b) Topping up quantity of transformer oil shall be measured and paid under relevent items.

Supply and fixing for synthetic rubber mats anti skid type chequered and moulded in natural synthetic rubber to withstand 11KV of size 2Mtr x 1Mtr and thickness 2.5mm , ISI marked all as speciifed and as directed.

Supply only rubber hand gloves latex type seamless 400mm long , ISI marked all as specified and as directed.

Preventive maintenance /repairs to transformer step down 11KV /0.433 KV out door type of any make and capacity up to 630 KVA including cleaning the Transformers externally throughly with lint free cloth,tightening the HT/LT terminals nuts , arresting any leakages if any,replacing the rusted nuts, washers ,insulator, drain valve, perished gaskets of top cover, silica gel, replacing the worn out copper alloy studs ,nuts tightening the earth terminals and conducting various tests as directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note :- HT / LT metal parts with insulators, will be measurd and paid seperatly under respective item of schedule.

Supply only HT 11 KV bushing porcelin with copper alloy terminals for transformer of capacity up to 630 KVA including dismantling the unserviceable complete all as specified and directed.

All as per item no 26 here in before but LT bushing all as directed.

Supply & replace silicagel granuals including removing the moistured jel, cleaning the breather and filling fresh granules all as directed.

Material and labour for painting to the Transformer yard fencing made out of GI wire mesh with two coats of synthetic enamel paint complete all as directed.

Cutting removing the vegetation growth and surface dressing all around the installation yard including two pole structure areas, around power house, substation (external only) to keep always installation clean and tidy all as specified and as directed.

Supply and replace Silicagel breather assembly complete for transformers upto 630 KVA capacity all as directed.

Supply, Spread & levelling 40mm graded stone aggregate inside the outdoor substation yard all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for Cleaning , dusting and servicing of HT 11 KV, 630 Amps, 21KA, 3way Compact Ring Main Unit (RMU) Indoor type comprising of 2 Nos load breaker switches and 1 No 400 Amps SF-6 breaker with CT's & PT's with OC + EF protection by highly skilled mechanic specialist in electric HT breakers , by taking out trolley, decarburizing of all parts using CRC-26 spray, checking of all fixed and moving parts,calibrating of relays using primary/ secondary injection method ,carefully, tightening cable connections, replacing of worn out parts and fuses applying petroleum jelly to moving and fixed mechanical parts for its smooth functioning, all as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

All as per srl item No 33 above but for 11KV, 5 way,(1+4) Panel with SF6 breakers panel rating 630 Amps, with one incoming and four outgoing comprising numerical self powered protection relay, digital type multi functional meters , CT's and PTs, calibrating of relays using primary/ secondary injection method ,carefully, tightening cable connections, replacing of worn out parts and fuses applying petroleum jelly to moving and fixed mechsnicsl parts for its smooth functioning, all as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

All as per srl item No 33 above but for 11KV, 3 way,(1+2) Panel with SF6 breakers panel rating 630 Amps, with one incoming and four outgoing comprising numerical self powered protection relay, digital type multi functional meters , CT's and PTs, calibrating of relays using primary/ secondary injection method ,carefully, tightening cable connections, replacing of worn out parts and fuses applying petroleum jelly to moving and fixed mechsnicsl parts for its smooth functioning, all as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

Material and Labour for Scraping the peeled out paint of the transformer ,preparing the surface ,applying metal paste on the voids to make the surface even, spray painting with one coat of synetic enamel paint of existing shade and sign writing of MES/SM No on the transformer all as directed of capacity upto 630 KVA.

All as item No 36 above but for HT RMU 11 KV VCB panel (1+2) ways all as directed.

Supply and fix in replacement LED Digital 3 phase voltmeter class 1 type flush mounted on the panel all as directed. Make L&T Cat No WL132010OOOO or equivalent as approved by GE.

Supply and fixing in replacement LED Digital 3 phase Ammeter class 1 type flush mounted on the panel all as directed. Make L&T Cat No WL131010OOOO or equivalent as approved by GE.

Supply and Fixing in replacement LED indicator lamps for panels (R,Y,B) all as directed.

Supply and Fixing in replacement Max demand controller 6000 LED meter ,accuracy class 0.5s with RS485 mounted on panel all as directed. Make L&T , Cat No WL 600031OOOO or equivalent as approved by GE.

Supply and Fixing sealed lead acid battery for constant voltage charge of capacity 12V , 7Ah including taking out the unserviceable battery complete all as speciifed and as directed.

Supply and Fixing lithium battery for RMU ER 14250 ,3.6V ,1/2AA ,1200mAh including taking out unserviceable battery complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and Fixing load manager duel source multi functional meter accuracy class 1.0 , panel mounted of size 96 x96mm, including taking out old unserviceable meter complete all as speciifed and as directed. Make EL measure , Model LG+5110 or equivalent of L&T as approved by GE.

M&L for shifting of transformer from platform to vehicle with the help of crane and loading to vehicle. The transformer to be shifted to workshop , draining the transformer oil , opening the top cover , lifting the core above the top level with the help of T&P , cleaning the inside of the tank ,removing the sludge completly , inspecting the cores , varnishing the windings with one coat of varnish , drying complet , assemblying the core and top cover , replaceing the top cover gasket , wahser & seal ring of terminals , filling of oil .carrying out filteration & de-hydration complete, meggering the windings , testing the transformer on load and checking for any leaks, after satisfactory results shifting the transformer to orginal site , connecting the HT/Lt cables and testing on load of capacity upto 250 KVA all as speciifed and as directed. Note : (i) the quoted rates are inclusive of lifting ,loading ,transportation, gaskets, seal rings, nuts, bolts etc. (ii) filteration , new oil , HT/LT terminals as requird will be measured and paid seperatly under respective item of schedule.

Supply & Fixing K-mechanism for 11 KV Ring Main unit ABB Make, including taking out old unserviceable mechanism and testing complete all as speciifed and as directed.

Supply and fixing 11 KV single phase indoor type resin cast CT of ratio 400-5/5A class 1.0/5P10 burden 15VA/15VA including taking out unserviceable CT complete all as speciifed and as directed.

Material and labour for boring of holes under road, pavement, hard standing by trenchless technology using ultra sound technique and necessary machine including HDPE pipe of 110mm dia suitable for 0.4mpa working pressure.

Material and labourfor GI tubing 'Light' grade for cable protection fixed in poles/walls/laid under roads/crossing etc incl taking out the rusted pipes of size 100mm dia all as specified and directed

Supply and fixing in replacement Ashida Numerical self powered protection relay Model ADR 141S for 11 KV HT panel including taking out old unserviceable relay complete all as specified andas directed.

Supply and fixing in replacement PT of system voltage 11 kV, insulation level 12/28/75(peak) Ratio 11KV/110 volts , No of phases 3 , burden 100 VA, accuracy class 0.5 all as directed.

Material and labour for Earthing complete with galvanised steel earth plate electrode 60x60cmx6mm thick, buried directly in ground ( earth pit not less than 2.25mtrs deep below ground level) with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5mtrs below normal ground level, connected to galvanised iron strip 25x4mm as earth lead by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of galvanised iron or steel all as shown in electrical plate No. 3 connected to earthing test point all as specified including taking out the unserviceable earthing complete and testing on completion all as directed..

All as per srl item No 54 above but using copper plate 600x600x3mm thick and copper strip of 20 x 3mm for transformer neutral incl taking out the old GI plate earthing all as speciifed and as directed.

Disconnecting the incoming / outgoiung cables , earthing strips of the transformer , isolating completely , bringing the trolley mounted transformer from main power house to the site and connecting the HT and LT cables including earthing, testing the transformer on load, checking the phase sequency , changing the phases if any differences and testing complete all as speciifed and as directed. Note : All T & P , Botls /Nuts , labour etc required for above job are included in the quoted rates.

Material and labour for mild steel plates Fe-410-W (Gde E-250) plain or chequered as in duct covers including cutting , fabricate, cut to existing sizes including taking out the rusted plates all as specified and as directed.
