Demolition of RCC as in Roofs slab, floors (other than ground floors), beams, staircases, landing, parapets, chajjas, kitchen shelf and similar suspended work (reinforcement cut as required to facilitate demolition) including necessary scaffolding if any complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L taking down, chipping and removing the loose spailt, damaged cement concrete, cement mortar surfaces of RCC columns, beams, walls, chajjas etc and exposing the reinforced cement concrete, wire brushing and cleaning the exposed steel reinforced bar, apply rust remover over the cleaned re-bar surface, wash with clean water for removing all rusts from the old reinforcement bar surfaces, fixing new reinforcement for strenghten the members as required, applying two coats of epoxy zinc primer on new and old steel surfaces, saturate the substrate with water applying one coat of polymer modified cement and quartz sand mortar in CM 1:3 mix, 40 mm average thick in two coats, with and including polymer @ 10 % by weight of cement including erecting and dismantling steel scafolding for carrying out the work upto height of 10 m (approx.) complete all as specified and as directed. Note: (New reinforcement will be measured and paid separately ).

Supply only Hard drawn steel wire mesh of size 12.5 mm x 1mm thick, weight not excee 4.00 kg/sqm complete all as specfied and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for Reinforced Cement Concrete 1:2:4 type B-1 (using 20 mm graded stone aggregates) in slabs supported on walls, beams and columns in floors, roofs, landings, balconies, canopies, deck slabs and in shelves and the like complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for mild steel TMT bars of 10mm dia and over, cut to length, bent to shape required, including cranking, bending spirally for hooping for columns, hooking ends and binding with and including mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9mm dia or securing with clips complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for formwork to soffits of suspended slabs such as lintel, roof slabs, floor slabs, landings and similar work; not exceeding 200 mm thick (Horizontal or sloping), work in rough finished flat surfaces of concrete complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Dubbing out average 10 mm thick CM 1:4 on irregular face of walls complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for Rendering 15 mm thick, in cement mortar 1:4 on brick or concrete surfaces with WPC (paid separately) finishing fair & even without using extra cement complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Cutting down small trees/ bushes from wall/ roof/ chajja of building including digging out the roots from brick work or any other structure portion of building including applying root killer chemical as per manufacturer instructions and making good the disturbed portion to match the existing surface complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for disconnecting of PVC tank of capacity 500 Litres & upto 1000 Litres for cleaning including setting aside temporarily and refixing later in same position to enable water proofing treatment of roof slab beneath the tank in following laid down process all as specified and directed :- a) Dewatering & removing all settled silt, scale & dust from inside of tanks using coconut brush manually and applying bleaching powder and allowed to rest for 1 hour. b) Cleaning & rinsing the tank using fresh water to wash out complete and allowed to dry for 30 minutes. c) Writing letters of 7 cm height using synthetic enamel paint (white colour) to mention date of cleaning including rubbing out old letters written over the tank. d) Refixing the tank & old fittings in same position or raised/ lower height after cleaning or water proofing treatment (as may necessary) complete all as directed by engineer-in-Charge.

Note :- Alternative arrangement for providing water supply to the Qtr shall be provided by the contractor by relocating the serviceable tank until the waterproofing treatment is completed.

Dismantling Brick tiles or terracing tiles, single layer on roofs complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Demolition of mud in roofs, any thickness, including plastering and leeping (whether full thickness removed or only a part thereof) complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Roughening the surfaces of old concrete roof surfaces & sides by picking, brushing with wire brush, sweeping clean and washing down with water to remove dust etc., brushing neat cement slurry with 3.0 kg of cement per Sqm over cleaned roof surfaces complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and labour PCC 1:2:4, type B-1 (using 20 mm graded crushed stone aggregates) as in padding on RCC roof finished fair and even including demolition of existing PCC complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for preparation and cleaning surfaces of concrete including flashing and junction of parapets etc and applying APP based polymeric membrane minimum weight 3 kg/sqm and minimum 3 mm thick reinforced with non woven fabric with torch application over and including a coat of oil base bituminous primer including taking down of old APP sheet complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for 40 mm thick Brick tiles laid over screed bed 15 mm thick cement mortar 1:6 and joints grouted flush in Cement Mortar 1:3, complete as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

All as per Serial Item no. 16.00 heerein-before but except brick tiles

Demolition of lime concrete/ lean concrete/ Brick bats etc. from sunken slab portion exc. 15 cm thick but above ground floors, including removal of demolished material from MD land complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for 25 mm thick Plain cement concrete 1:2:4, type B-0 (using 12.5 mm graded stone aggregates) as in flooring laid in slope complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for providing water proofing treatment of sunken portion of WCs, bathroom etc. by applying cement slurry mixed with Acrylic based polymer modified cementitious composite compound coating of make asapproval in Technical Instruction 5/ 2003 by adding: (a) 15 mm thick plaster (1:4) cement sand mortar with integral water proofing compound 2% by weight of cement on floor and wall, finishing the surface even and smooth without using extra cement. The surface shall then be cured and allwed to dry. (Note: Water proofing compound shall be measured and paid separately). (b) First layer of slurry of cement @ 0.488 kg/sqm mixed with Acrylic based polymer modified cementitious composite compound @ 0.253 kg/sqm. This layer will be allowed to air cure for 4 hrs.

(c) Second layer of slurry of cement @ 0.242 kg/sqm mixed with Acrylic based polymer modified cementitious composite compound @ 0.126 kg/sqm. This layer will be allowed to air cure for 4 hrs followed with water curing for 48 hrs. complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

M&L lime concrete using 40 mm brick aggregates in lime mortar 1:3 as in sunken portion complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supply and fixing GI tube, 40 mm dia, 'medium grade' as in spouts/ short length including making holes in embedded sunken portion complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Taking up or down GI steel/ Kitek tubing, 15 mm dia bore with connections or fittings from wall, ceiling, floor etc., including cleaning of tubes for re-fixing complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

S&F rotational moulded polyethylene water storage tank (Cylindrical vertical with close top), HDPE, triple layered, ISI marked, 500 litres capacity with inlet & outlet connections, including tank nipple 150 mm long with washer & plug, with tank lid having locking arrangement hoisted and fixed in position complete all as specified and as directed including dismantling existing water storage tanks (RCC/ PVC) of capacity upto 500 litre complete all as specified as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

S&F in repairs Gun-metal, globe or gate valves, with iron wheel head, 15 mm bore, screwed both ends for iron pipe, and fixed in repairs complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Taking down cement plaster of any description on brick or concrete walls etc including raking out joints, hacking for key, scrubbing down with water etc, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

S&F in repairs 18/ 19 mm thick pre-laminated particle board, exterior grade, prelaminated both sides with decorativce choice laminations, fixed with screws to timber frame as in cupboards, shutters, shelves, cabinets, pelmets etc including fixing 18 mm wide 6 mm thick painted beading all around of 1st class HW (Teak) complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

S&F in repairs continuous (Piano) hinges, mild steel, bright finish or electrogalvanised, 30 mm width of flaps when opened complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

S&F 150 mm size hasp and staple safety type aluminium anodized, in repairs complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Material and labour for Vitrified Ceramic tiles 10 mm thick First quality (square/ rectagular) polished, area of each tiles not exceeding 0.36 sqm, as in floors etc. set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in white or coloured cement to match the shade of tiles complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.
