M & L for dismantling defective sewage non clog type sewage pump set upto 10/7.5 HP capacity at site opening suction, delivery pipe line connections,coupling nut bolts and taking out the pump set to contractors workshop for repair, machine work including refixing, assembling coupling with motor,lowering down and testing on full load for 04 hours incl providing gland packing and making the pump leak proof incl any other minor work as required at site and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note :-i) Spare parts replaced shall be measured and paid separately as supply only under respective item of schedule ii) Transportation charges for the motor to wksp & back are deemed to be included in rates quoted, no extra payment will be made on this account. iii) Pump set issued for repair must be returned & installed duly repaired within seven days otherwise Rs 100 per day per pump will deducted from the bill as penalty. iv) Minor items like nut/bolts, bearing grease, packing gaskets of required size to be taken in consideration while quoting the rates. No extra payment will be made on this account.

Servicing of 3 Phase 415 Volts 1440 RPM Centrifuge Motor coupled with NC Horizontal Multi staging Pumping Set as following: (a) Taking out Motor from its Position by decoupling from Pump and disconnecting all cable connections, Heating & varnishing to stator with super quality varnish Reassembeling the motor, greasing the bearing with bearing grease ,Reinstall the Motor at its existing Position , couple with the Pump connecting all cable connections and testing on completion complete all as specified by Engineer-in- Charge. b). Taking out Pump from its Position by decoupling from Motor and disconnecting , degreasing bearing and display all the parts without damaging any portion for inspection of Engineer-in- Charge to ascertain the serviceability of existing parts, Replacement of Gasket set and gland packing rope,greasing the bearing with bearing grease ,Reassembeling the Pump complete with all existing serviceable parts, Reinstall the Pump at its existing Position , couple with the Motor and connecting all suction delivery water connections and testing on completion complete all as specified by Engineer-in- Charge.

Surface dressing in hard/dense soil,not exceeding 15cm deep for cleaning the area by cutting the unwanted bushes/vegetation growth in and around the area of installation/around the valve pit chamber/along the pipeline routes if reqd etc all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

M & L for Scraping old paint of Electric Panel and Painting with two coats of synthetic enameal paint over a coat of red oxide primer including disconnecting electric connection and re-wiring without any damage of existing parts as directed by Engnr-in-Charge complete as all specified and as directed.

Operation and Maintenance of sewage Treatment plant STP of capacity 1.2 MLD by deploying adequate and experienced qualified skilled operator/staff, round the clock including Sunday and holidays in three shifts per day of 08 hours each ( Ist shift from 0600 to 1400 hours,IInd shift from 1400 to 2200 hours and IIIrd shift from 2200 to 0600 hours) complete inclusive of daily, weekly , monthly, quarterly, Half yearly & Yearly maintenance of equipments. scope of work as described in notes given below complete all as specified and as directed. Quoted rate include the following as mentioned against Ser No 40.01 to 40.08.

Scope of Work comprises:- (i) Stacking the sludge cakes properly (ii) Cleaning the blockages in any pump/pipe line (iii) Supplying/distributing the treated water regularly as per the directions. (iv) Complete cleaning of grits and channels daily. (v) Brooms and cleaning materials will be arranged by the contractor (vi) During the cleaning safety equipments will be supplied/arranged by the contractor.

(vii) Removing the algae/ sludge in the tube settler and keeping the surrounding area clean daily and removing vegetations etc failing which recovery of Rs. 200/- per day shall be made. (ix) Mixing of the chemicals as directed .

Maintaining the following records :- (i) Record of chemical consumption. (ii) Record of treated water and electricity consumption (log sheet)

Notes :- (i) The Plant shall be run by the skilled operator minimum qualification ITI/ matric with minimum three year experience.

(ii) (a) Working hours of a particular team of workers shall not exceed 08 hrs per day and no workmen shall be allowed to work beyond 08 hrs per day. (b) In case the contractor fails to deploy requisite numbers of workmen, the operator / workmen against defficiency shall be deployed at risk and cost of the contractor through SPOT QUOTATION and no payment shall be made to the contractor for the shift involved. (c) In addition to above a recovery of Rs. 500 per shift per workman shall be made from contractor's dues as and when becomes due. (d) Duty roster of manpower deployed shall be displayed otherwise recovery of Rs 500/- per installation per day shall be made.

(iii) All the provisions of contract labour Act 1970 shall be strictly adhered to. (iv) For payment of minimum wages to the workers provisions of particular specifications shall be strictly adhered to. (v) Log sheet for records shall be supplied by the contractor after approval of format by GE/Engineer-in-charge.

(vi) Contractor shall ensure that treated sewage water shall confirm to the following characteristics:- (i) TSS : < 10 mg/litre (ii) BOD : < 10 mg/litre (iii) COD : < 150 Mg/litre (iv) ph : 6.5 - 8.5 (v) Total Coliform : < 100 MPN/100 ml (desired nil) (vi) Residual CI < 1 mg/litre
