REPAIR/REPLACEMENT TO VARIOUS TYPES OF ELECTRIC MOTOR AND PUMPING SETS, SUBMERSIBLE PUMPS AT WATER SUPPLY INSTALLATIONS WITH CONNECTED AND MISCELLANIOUS WORKS AT NORTH CAMPUS UNDER GE (U) BATHINDA.

Dismantling the electric induction motor AC 3 Phase, capacity 60 HP to 125 HP, 440 V, 1440 RPM, 50 Cycle of any make and type from the foundation and pump after disconnecting electric cable connection and earthing etc. and transportating to civil workshop for repair/rewinding, strip opening the motor and removing of defective burnt winding, rewinding the motor after cleaning the rotor and starter with super enameled copper winding wire of suitable turn and gauge as per the original with proper insulation including varnishing, providing all high grade material and class ‘B’ varnish for insulation, reassembling the motor and installing at site with electric cable connection, earthing and testing the motor on full load at site after coupling the pump for its serviceability up to entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge complete all as directed.

All as per serial item No. 01 above but for electric motor of capacity 15 HP to 50 HP.

All as per serial item No. 01 above but for electric motor of capacity 6 HP to 12.5 HP.

All as per serial item No. 01 above but for electric motor of capacity up to 5 HP. Note for serial item No. 01 to 04 :- (i) Super enameled copper winding wire shall be measured and paid separately under appropriate item of this BOQ as supply only. (ii) Ball bearing if replaced shall be measured and paid separately under appropriate item of this BOQ as supply only. (iii) The T & P/ vehicles will be arranged by the contractor and the cost deemed to be included in the quoted rates.

Disconnecting the pumping sets of capacity 60 HP to 125 HP of any make and model from motor and all water connections and removing/ taking up from foundation, taking to civil workshop for repair/strip opening and repairing of pumping sets by changing the defective/unserviceable parts such as bearing, shaft, impeller, bush, Gland plate etc. Reassembling including oiling, greasing replacement of worn out nuts, bolts, gasket, glands etc and installing in its original position at site, making all connections, commissioning and testing up to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge complete all as directed.

All as per serial item No. 05 above but for pumping sets of capacity 15 HP to 50 HP.

All as per serial item No. 05 above but for pumping sets of capacity 6 HP to 12.5 HP.

All as per serial item No. 05 above but for pumping sets of capacity up to 5 HP. Note for serial item No. 05 to 08 :- (i). Ball bearing, shaft, impeller, bush, Gland plate & stuffing box packing etc replaced as per requirement shall be measured and paid separately under respective item of BOQ as supply only. (ii) The rates for minor repair, all other minor items essential for functioning of pump are deemed to be included in the quoted rates. (iii) The T & P/ vehicles will be arranged by the contractor and the cost deemed to be included in the quoted rates.

Lifting the defective open well submersible pumping set of capacity upto 12.5 HP after disconnecting electric cable connection and transporting to civil workshop and back for repair and rewinding the open well submersible electric motor upto 12.5 HP by using PVC insulated copper conductor winding wire of suitable turn and gauge as per the original with proper insulation including varnishing, providing all high grade material and class ‘B’ varnish for insulation and carrying out the repairs of pump like replacement of bushes and other minor reapirs and reassembling the submersible motor pump, lowering including reconnecting the electric cable connection and testing complete up to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge complete all as directed. Note :- (i) The rates for minor repair, jointing and jointing materials are deemed to be included in the quoted rates. (ii) The cost of Rewinding of motor is deemed to be included in the rate quated by the tenderer.
