Sub-Head : Earth Work

Earth work in excavation by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator) / manual means over areas (exceeding 30cm in depth, 1.5m in width as well as 10 sqm on plan) including getting out and disposal of excavated earth, lead up to 50m and lift up to 1.5m,as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. a) All kinds of soil

Earth work in excavation by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator) / manual means in foundation trenches or drains (not exceeding 1.5 m in width or 10 sqm on plan) including dressing of sides and ramming of bottoms, lift up to 1.5 m, including getting out the excavated soil and disposal of surplus excavated soil as directed, within a lead of 50 m. a) All kinds of soil.

Filling available excavated earth (excluding rock) in trenches, plinth, sides of foundations etc. in layers not exceeding 20cm in depth, consolidating each deposited layer by ramming and watering, lead up to 50 m and lift up to 1.5 m.

Extra for every additional lift of 1.5 m or part thereof in excavation /banking excavated or stacked materials. a) All kinds of soil.

Sub-Head : Concrete Work

Providing and laying in position cement concrete of specified grade excluding the cost of centering and shuttering - All work up to plinth level : a)1:5:10 (1 Cement : 5 coarse sand(zone-III) : 10 graded stone aggregate 40 mm nominal size).

Centering and shuttering including strutting, propping etc. and removal of form work for : a) Retaining walls, return walls, walls (any thickness) including attached pilasters, buttresses, plinth and string courses fillets, kerbs and steps etc.

Providing and laying in position plum concrete with hard stone boulders in retaining walls etc up to all height and level, in required size and shape etc. with cement concrete of mix 1:3:6 (1 Cement : 3 Coarse sand : 6 Graded stone aggregate 40 mm nominal size) using 40 % plum / hard stone boulders of size 150 mm to 300 mm, excluding cost centring and shuttering all complete as per the direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Sub-Head : Reinforced Cement Concrete

Providing and laying in position specified grade of reinforced cement concrete, excluding the cost of centering, shuttering, finishing and reinforcement - All work up to plinth level : a) 1:1.5:3 (1 cement : 1.5 coarse sand (zone-III) : 3 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size).

Centering and shuttering including strutting, propping etc. and removal of form for all heights: a) Foundations, footings, bases of columns, etc. for mass concrete.

Centering and shuttering including strutting, propping etc. and removal of form for all heights: b) Lintels, beams, plinth beams, girders, bressumers and cantilevers.

Steel reinforcement for R.C.C. work including straightening, cutting, bending, placing in position and binding all complete up to plinth level. a) Thermo-Mechanically Treated bars of grade Fe-500 D or more.

Sub-Head :Brick Work

Half brick masonry with common burnt clay F.P.S. (non modular) bricks of class designation 7.5 in foundations and plinth in. a) Cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement : 4 coarse sand)

Sub-Head : Steel Work

Structural steel work riveted, bolted or welded in built up sections, trusses and framed work, including cutting, hoisting, fixing in position and applying a priming coat of approved steel primer all complete.

12 mm cement plaster of mix : a) 1:6 (1 cement: 6 coarse sand)

Sub-Head : Road Work

Supplying at site Angle iron post & strut of required size including bottom to be split and bent at right angle in opposite direction for 10 cm length and drilling holes upto 10 mm dia. etc. complete.

Providing and fixing G.I. chain link fabric fencing of required width in mesh size 50x50 mm including strengthening with 2 mm dia wire or nuts, bolts and washers as required complete as per the direction of Engineer-in-charge. a) Made of G.I. wire of dia 4 mm

Sub-Head : Tower Work

Sorting and segrigation of tower material for 20 metre height (Approx 6.00 MT weight) out of 40 metre Narrow base light weight dismantled tower material lying at telecom store Shimla , prepare list of short material if any and brought in the notice of Engineer in charge before transporting the material to the site .

Supplying at site missing structural M.S. hot dipped 85 micron galvanized sections conforming to IS Code-13229 of 1991 & specification attached including cutting and making holes to erect the section as per Tower Drawing No LNT-40 .

Supplying at site M.S. hot dipped 85 micron galvanized hexagonal Nuts and bolts required to erect 40metre NBLW tower up to height of 20 metre conforming to IS Code-13229 of 1991 & specification attached.

Supplying complete template for 40 metre Narrow base Light weight ground based tower as per Jabalpur pur Telecom Fectory Drawing No LNT- 40 Y and 36 Nos Foundation Anchor bolts of 90 cm long and 32 mm diameter with one side threadings and other side welded with 100 x 100 x10 mm MS plate including washers and nuts all complete as per the direction of Engineer -in- Charge.

Carriage of tower material for 20 metre height (Approx 6.00 MT weight) out of 40 metre Narrow base light weight dismantled tower material lying at telecom Store Shimla (Malyana-Sanahan), loading, unloading and carriage by mechanical transport etc. all complete as per the directions of the Engineer-in-Charge. The agency shall be responsible for insurance of tower material while transportaion including safe carriage of material to the site of work. a) From Telecom Store Shimla (Malyana-Sanahan) to the nearest road head of Tower site at Shirdi (Thalla), Tehsil Bharmour, Distt. Chamba (HP) and manually from road side to site of work.

Fixing bed plates, templates and all anchor bolts etc. for stem of tower foundation including extremely accurate positioning, levelling etc. complete as per the directions of the engineer-in-charge. (Bed plates, templates and anchor bolts etc. to be supplied by the department free of cost). Rate of fixing all bed plates, templates and anchor bolts for four or three legged tower etc. complete.

Erection of 20 metre high Narrow base Light Weight four legged ,angular ground base self supporting communication tower as per Drawing No LNT-40 Telecom Factory Jabalpur (Approximate Weight 6.00 metric tonne) using M.S. hot dipped 85 micron galvanized sections/fittings conforming to IS Code-13229 of 1991 & specification attached including ladder cum cable tray, working plateform with railing , antenna fixtures,hexagonal nuts & bolts, washers, lightening arrestor of solid copper rod of size 650 mm length & 12 mm dia, foundation anchor bolts, templates, base plates etc all complete including applying two or more coats with hi-gloss synthetic enamel paint of approved brand & manufacturer( International white & Orange) over and including one or more coats of etching primer (BISON or equivalent) and second coat of BISON HB Zinc phosphate primer or equivalent of approved brand & manufacturer as per directions of the Engineer-in-Charge. Tower erection shall be strictly as per approved drawings. Note:- 1. The rate includes painting of tower, latform, anteena mount, ladder, vertical & horizontal tray, post etc. And all the operations involved in the item work and nothing extra shall be paid. 2. The material for erection of tower except sunthetic enamel paint & primer will be supplied by the department.3. The agency shall ensure to make proper safety measures for labour.
