In hard rock-This excavation shall be carried out mechanically using hydraulic excavators, pneumatic breaking equipments, JCB, Poclains as directed. Under this category shall fall quartzite, granite, basalt, plain & reinforced cement concrete (reinforcement to be cut through but not separated from concrete) foundation, masonry or any other hard material etc. From 1.50 m upto 3.00 m depth below Average Natural Ground Level

Disposal / Stacking of excavated materials (all kinds of soil, rock, boulders, concrete or any other excavated materials) to disposal ground (Within the DAE Premises) for lead up to 4km (as specified below) & all lifts including stacking / spreading in layers, breaking earth clods & rock clusters, leveling, disposing the soil by mechanical transport, loading / unloading etc. complete from the site of excavation to the place of disposition all as directed by the Engineer. 7a) Disposal / Stacking of excavated materials - For soil & soft rock

Provding and constructing brick work in Cement mortar 1:4 using standard bricks of approved class/ quality, make or brand and crushed sand in foundation and plinth including curing, raking out joints, simultaneous pointing below plinth level if specified, complete as per drawings, specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in charge

Providing 12 mm thick waterproof plastering in cement mortar 1:4 with a floating coat of neat cement including approved water proofing compound added @ 2% by weight of cement or as per manufacturer's specifications, sieving of sand to required fineness, preparation of surface, scaffolding at all heights, curing all as per specifications, drawings and as directed at site.

Providing 20 mm thick water proof external plastering in cement mortar 1:3 (using crushed sand) finished smooth with a floating coat of neat cement including approved waterproofing compound added @ 2% by weight of cement or as per manufacturer's specifications, sieving of sand to required fineness, preparation of surface, scaffolding at all heights, curing all as per specifications, drawings and as directed at site.

Providing and applying two part food grade polyamide cured solvent less epoxy lining in two coats of minimum 400 micron DFT over dry, clean and dust free surafe of water reating structures. This coat shall be applied by airless spray technique or suitable method and as per specifications & drawings.

Providing and laying in position cement concrete of 1:4:8 (1 cement, 4 crushed sand, 8 graded stone aggregate of maximum size 20 / 40 mm) including consolidation, finishing, curing etc. complete as per specifications and drawings but excluding the cost of shuttering, centering complete at all levels complete

Treatment of construction joints by cutting of green concrete when in final set condition using approved air water jet at a suitable pressure in early age concrete including removal of laitance, draining the water from the air jet after the joint cutting process, treating the construction joint using surface retarding solvent free poly-hydroxyl chemical agent by removing the cement-sand matrix upto 5 to 7mm depth with an air water jet having pressure of 7 kg per Sqm., wire brushing, cleaning etc. complete all as per specifications and directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and laying in position Reinforced Cement Concrete (RCC) of grade M-20 using 20mm maximum size aggregates and crushed sand of approved quality including admixtures of approved brand and quality (plasticisers / super plasticisers), weigh batching, mechanical mixing, transporting, placing, vibrating, consolidation, finishing, curing etc. complete at all levels but excluding the cost of centering, shuttering and reinforcement complete as per specifications

Providing and fixing Reinforcement Steel confirming to IS 1786 for RCC works at all levels including supplying, preparation of bar bending schedules, cutting, bending, transporting, fixing, tieing in position with binding wire, all labour charges, cost of cover blocks in specified grade of concrete etc. complete as per specifications and drawings using TMT bars of specified grades all dia bars. Providing and fixing in position tapered / parallel threaded Tension Compression Mechanical Couplers for 25 mm dia rebars conforming to IS code on “Reinforcement Couplers for Mechanical Splices of Bars for Concrete Reinforcement - Specification”. The couplers shall have bar break properties for 100% Tension and compression joints as per manufacturer's specifications and as per the direction of the Engineer. The item shall include all operations and arrangements such as threading with manufacturer's machines and operators, enlargement at connection by forging, provision of bar caps to protect the threads on rebar and related operations and arrangements as required for completing the work.

Providing & installing Slip form construction system for construction of the Stack (chimney) work in all buildings wherever required Type of Slip form proposed shall be indicated by the bidder in his offer with sketches, drawings and construction statement as explained hereinafter. Number, type and capacities of jacks, the control system and achievable rate of progress in mm/hour shall also be indicated. The chosen scheme shall be of a past proven design. A certified performance record of the scheme shall be submitted with the offer to guarantee workability of the scheme both from execution time and safety point of view. The bidder shall also furnish a brief but comprehensive statement indicating the planning & programme and method of work to be followed, complete as per technical specification and as directed by the EIC.

Providing, painting, finishing walls with two coats of anti-algae, weather proof acrylic smooth emulusion paint of approved make with silicon additives on sand face plaster/ plain plaster & concrete surfaes of required shade over new work over a base coat of exterior cement primer including preparation of the surfaces, scaffolding complete. as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge

Providing and laying 4mm Thickness Self Levelling Epoxy flooring (2mm epoxy screed + 2 mm self leveling), including preparation of the surface, primer coat, screeding & levelling coat and finishing coat with Polyurethene coat of approved colour and shade of approved make all as per manufacturers specifications complete, as directed at site by the Engineer-in-charge (This Job to be carried out through a specialized approved agency)

Providing and laying Minimum 25 mm thick uniform shade Kotah stone treads and risers of steps in single length up to 2 metres length slab, landing area, skirting, window sills, dado and pillars laid on 20 mm thick (average) cement mortar 1:3 (using coarse sand) and jointed with grey cement slurry mixed with pigment to match the shade of the slabs, including rubbing and polishing to obtain mirror finish, providing grooves and nosing in treads as per design etc. complete as per specifications and drawings.

Providing and fixing FRP 35 mm thick panelled door shutters flush door / panelled type with plain colour or wooden veneer finish of approved make, design & colour. made out of 1.5 mm thick FRP skin moulded over wooden frame work of 40 mm wide and required thickness wooden styles and minimum 100 mm wide lock rails and wooden blocks for door stoppers, tower bolts, baby latch, aldrop, handles etc. wherever required and core filled with Polyurethane Foam and fixing with 4 Nos 100 mm (ISI marked) stainless steel hinges with S.S. wood screws

The confirmatory investigations at founding level after exposing the founding rock strata shall include : Setting out final positions of boreholes and trial pits relative to base lines and agreed Bench Mark with the Engineer and recording the Reduced Levels at each bore hole top including setting up of boring rig equipment to the location of each boreholes and dismantling the same after the investigation, providing full bore log with stratification details Drilling 76 mm dia. holes in soil/rock from 40 m below the founding level vertically through bedrock strata (Hard/soft rock), using Nx size diamond bit, using double tube core barrel with suitable core catcher, including collection and logging of cores, placing them in approved wooden core boxes made up of 25mm thick planks with partitions of 12mm thick as per relevant IS with a coat of Anti Termite chemical in a proper sequence, numbering each core, noting the lithology, colour photographs (100X150mm size) of rock cores, Stratigraphy, claculating the Core Recovery (CR), Rock Quality Designation (RQD), Rock Mass Rating (RMR) values, locking arrangements, labeling and transporting the boxes to core store/laboratory as directed by EIC etc., all as per specifications.

Conducting Standard Penetration Test ( SPT ) in soil, soft and weathered rock and collecting , packaging, and labelling disturbed samples, also including Conducting SPT in rock with RQD greater than 10% and less than 25% all as per specifications including replacement of SPT shoe by a new SPT shoe for each SPT all as per specifications.

Conducting laboratory tests conforming to relevant latest IS code on soil / rock samples after referring Engineer In Charge and submitting results as specified. - Specific Gravity

CONFIRMATORY FIELD INVESTIGATIONS : Conducting confirmatory field investigation as detailed hereinafter at founding level after exposing the founding rock strata as approved by the Engineer and as detailed herein below. The rate shall include the cost of all materials, plant, mobilisation & demobilisation of equipment, inclusive of taking approval from the Engineer, Setting out final positions of test locations, labour, taking out samples etc. all as directed by the Engineer & as enumerated above. : CONFIRMATIVE GEOLOGICAL INVESTIGATIONS : Carrying out confirmative Geological Investigations and all allied work at founding level after exposing the founding rock strata.
