Excavation in earth work in hilly area in all heights and depths in all kinds of soil including saturated soil comprising of mixed soil, ordinary and hard rock. All work of rock cutting by blasting shall be carried out by taking all necessary precauctions against soil erosion damage to hill side. water pollution etc and to protect soil stability of hill suide rock shall be excavated with chieselling and wedging out rock(where blasting is prohibited). All earth work in cutting/excavation including rock ecvavation shall be carried out true to line, grades, slopes width camber super elevation and level as shown ion the drawing as per direction of Engineer-In-Charge in conformity with the requirement of technical speficiation for rural roads august 2004 clause 16.2 of general conditions of contract to achieve designed formation with including hauling and stacking of materials useful for construction at suitable sites and stage. disposal of unsuitable cut materials in specified manner, trimming filling of uneveness blindage and finishing of the road to specified diamensions or as directed by Engineer-In-Charge for smooth riding. The recovery of useful stones shall be made from the contractor and recovery of 87.08 Cubic meter shall be made @ Rs. 170/- per cubic meter on prorata basis in each running bill. Any loss to the public and private property during the course of execution shall be restored by the contractor whatsoever the nature of the same may be. The serviceable materials will be stacked out specified/diamensions in all leads and lifts as per direction of Engineer-In-Charge.

Excavation in soil in Hilly area by manual means including cutting and trimming of side slopes and disposing of excavated earth with a lift upto 1.50 meters and lead upto 20 meters as per drawing and Technical specifications clauses 1603.1 including all leads and lifts, as per HP:PWD, specification of 1990 Volume-I as directed by the Engineer-In-Charge.

Earth work in ecavation for structure as per drawing and Technical specification clauses 305.1 including setting out construction of shoring and bracing removal of stumps and other deleterious materials and disposal upto a leas of 50 meters of sides and bottom and back filling in trenches with excavated suitable materials including all leads and lifts, as per HP:PWD, specification of 1990 Volume-I, as directed by the Engineer-In-Charge.

Providing weepholes in brick masonry/stone masonry, plain/reinforced concrete abutment, wing wall, return wall with 100 mm dia AC pipe extending through the full width of the structures with slope of 1(V):20(H) towards drawing face complete as per drawing and technical specification Clauses 614, 709, 1204.3.7 including all leads and lifts, aas directed by the Engineer-In-Charge

Providing and laying laid over cement concrete bedding complete as per drawinf and Technical Specification Clause: 1303 i) Rubble Stone laid in CM 1:3 including all leads and lifts, or as per HPPWD,. Specification of 1990 Volume-I, asdirected by the Engineer-In-Charge.

Backfilling behind abutment, wing wall and return wall complete as per drawings & technical specification Clause 1204.3.8

Providing, laying, spreading and compacting stone aggregates of specific sizes to water bound macadam specification including spreading in uniform thickness, hand packing, rolling with three wheel 80-100 kN static roller in stages to proper grade and camber, applying and brooming, stone screening/binding materials to fill-up the interstices of coarse aggregate, watering and compacting to the required density Grading -1 as per Technical Specification Clause 405. by Mechanical means including all leads and lifts as per HP PWD specification of 1990 volume Ior as directed by Engineer in Charge. Providing and applying tack coat with Bitumen emulsion (RS-1) using emulsion distributor at the rate of 0.25 to 0.30 kg per sqm on the prepared granular surfaces treated with primer & cleaned with Hydraulic broom as per Technical Specification Clause 503.

Providing laying bitumenious concrete with 50-60 TPH batch type hot mix plant producing an average output of 75 tonnes per hour using crushed aggregate of specified grading ,premix with bitumenious binder @5.4 to 5.6 percent of mix and filler .transporting hotmix to work site ,laying with a hydrostatic paver finisher with censor control to the required grade ,level and alignment ,rolling with smooth wheeled ,vibratoryand tendem roller to achieve the desired compaction as per MORTH specificationclause no. 509 complete in all respect. including carriage of all labour material and equipments to various location through all mode of transportation as per HPPWD specification 1990 volume first in all leads as per the direction of Engineer in charge at site.
