Amount

Supply of potable drinking water and deliver the water to Semi / under ground sump and overhead service tanks through water bowsers. The cost includes transportation and supplying potable drinking water to the following areas all as directed by Engr-in- Charge. (a) Old TB-III Pump House, ADMC Ph I and Ph II, Choudhary line, Manley line, PCTC Area, 22 Raf Rif, New TB-III, RC line, TB-I and Depot Bn. (b) PRTC Area, 106 INF BN (TA) and 2 PARA (SF) NOTE FOR ITEM 1.01 AND 1.02: (a) Water supply shall commence with in 3 Hrs of placing demand. Assuring the quality of water is contractors responsibility. The water bowser shall be fitted with diesal driver pump set for lifting water upto 20 Mtr head. (b) The source of water supplied must have Govt. authorisation and same should be submitted for vetting of GE before commencement of work. (c) Phone No of Contractor / Supplier shall be officially declared. (d) If the consumer have any health issues or medical problems. Contractor shall be responsible for any related issues and liabilities if any, shall be borne by the contractor. (e) If any court case is filed by consumers on this account, the same shall be dealt by the contractor at his own expenditure. (f) Contractor shall produce trip sheet along with vehicle No, entry and exit details of of security gates. Duly vetted by respective Unit / Centers Quarter Master for payment purposes. Condt/--- 1.02

Condt/-- 1.01 NOTE FOR ITEM 1.01 AND 1.02: (g) Taking out samples of water supplied by contractor from bore well of all area, civil / defence and carry out water analysis test for chemical & biological properties and obtaining test report from any Govt. of Karnataka State authorised agencies like Bangalore University, Public Health Engineering (Civil Engg Dept). Bangalore or National Test House, Bangalore as directed and original test report shall be submitted by the contractor at his own arrangements. Contractor shall submit one test certificate per each month for any trip / location randomly as directed by Engineer in charge. (h) If water is not supplied within the 3 hrs from placing of demand, The following penalties shall be admissible upon contractor:- (i) From 3 hrs to 6 hrs Rs. 1000/- per unit of water supply. (ii) From 6 hrs onwards - Rs. 2000/- per unit of water supply. (j) Min T&P required during whole period of contracts:- Water bozer/water tanks (Min-02 Nos) of capacity of 6000 to 8000/- litres and documents shall be produce before commencement of work and same shall got approval by GE. If contractor fails to do the same appropriate panel recovery shall recovered as decided by Accepting officers. (k) Contractor shall produce MOU with Govt. auth water suppliers, if he himself is not an Govt.auth water supplier and the same shall submitted to Accepting office for approval before commencement of work.
