REPAIR/ REPLACEMENT OF STREET LIGHTS, AREA LIGHTING, PCC POLES, UG CABLES AND CONNECTED WORKS AT BAMBOLIM AND ALTINHO UNDER GE PANAJI, GOA.

Amount

Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5metre wide and not exceeding 1.5metre in depth and getting out in hard/dense soil for foundation of poles, stays, laying of cables, etc. complete all as specified and as directed

All same as per item No 1 here -in - above but depth exceeding 1.5 mtr but not exceeding 3 mtr.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25cm in hard/dense complete all as specified and as directed.

Removing excavated soil not exceeding 50m and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5m above the starting point complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply, laying and spreading in layers dry clean river sand for cable cushioning with a layer of sand 8cm depth before laying the cable and 15cm depth after laying the cable punned down to a depth of 10cm above the top of the cable complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for plain cement concrete type D2, 1:3:6 (40 mm graded crushed trap stone aggregate) in foundations, filling and mass concrete complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for plain cement concrete type B1, 1:2:4 (20 mm graded crushed trap stone aggregate) in coping and the like including weathering, slightly rounded or chamfered angles and throating, as directed, with and including use of form work complete all as specified and directed

Supply and lay un-reinforced precast concrete cable cover, class, LV, Type I flat size 250mm x 150mm x 40 mm laid dry in trenches over underground cables.

Material and labour for pre-stressed concrete pole, 9.0metres long, 102mm x 152mm at top and 102mm x 289mm at bottom, class 10 with earth strip from top to bottom of the poles and providing 3 nos of 30cm wide circular bands with black&yellow paint starting from plinth level at a gap of 30cm in between 2 bands and numbering of poles in yellow paint over black painted back ground at a height of 2m from bottom of pole with 5cm large bold letters 2cm wide, including removing the old one complete all as specified and as directed. Note: - (i) The quoted rate includes staying the pole in a truly vertical position till the foundation is properly set. (ii) Excavation, foundation concrete, etc. will be measured separately under the appropriate items.

Supplying, Erecting and fixing in repair Steel tubular swaged poles complete with cast iron base plate, finial taper plug, bolts, nuts & screws as specified type 410 SP-31 (9.0 metres long) and providing 3 Nos of 30cm wide circular bands with black & yellow paint starting from plinth level at a gap of 30 cm in between 2 bands and numbering of poles, in yellow paint over black painted back ground at a height of 2m from bottom of pole with 5 cm large bold letters 2" wide, complete all as specified and directed. Note: - (i) The quoted rate includes staying the pole in a truly vertical position till the foundation is properly set. (ii) Excavation, foundation concrete, etc. will be measured separately under the appropriate items.

Taking Down old unserviceable LT UG Cable of size 16 /10 Sqmm and 4 Core / 2 Core all as specified and directed.

Supply and Laying in trenches / fixed on wall / pole XLPE insulated PVC sheathed armoured heavy duty LT UG electric cable with aluminium stranded conductor 1100 volt grade of cross sectional area 16 sqmm X 4 core, complete all as specified and directed. Note : (i)Excavation & earth work, Sand cushioning, cable covers, GI tubing & Clamps shall be measured & paid separately under relevant items of Sch 'A'.

Supply and Laying in trenches / fixed on wall / pole XLPE insulated PVC sheathed armoured heavy duty LT UG electric cable with aluminium stranded conductor 1100 volt grade of cross sectional area 10 sqmm X 4 core, complete all as specified and directed. Note : (i)Excavation & earth work, Sand cushioning, cable covers, GI tubing & Clamps shall be measured & paid separately under relevant items of Sch 'A'.

Supply and fix in repair 40 mm dia steel tubes, 'light grade', galvanised, with all fittings; laid in trenches/ fixed on wall/ including taking down existing pipe complete all as specified and directed

Supply and fix in repairs cross arms, bracing supports, clamps and back plates fabricated from the structural steel section including bolts, nuts, washers, welding, bending cold or hot, drilling holes for bolts, fabrication work of any type or bent to any required shape or size as indicated or directed and inclusive of one primer coat and two coats of aluminium paint after preparation of surfaces all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix in repairs Pin type, porcelain, vitreous, white, brown or green insulator including one galvanised mild steel spindle, two galvanised iron washers and one galvanised iron nut, 100mm height, 65mm dia for 1100 volts grade complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix in repairs shackle type insulator, porcelain vitreous, white / brown / green, 1100 V grade, 75 mm height & 90 mm dia including galvanised mild steel strap of 31 x 3 mm, 12 mm dia insulator bolt, washers & nuts complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix in repairs for stay assembly complete with all accessories as shown in Electrical Plate No 1 of SSR Part I with 16 mm dia stay rod and including 7/2.24 mm size stay strand & stay clamps complete all as specified and directed. NOTE: Loop type insulator, excavation & earth work and concrete shall be measured and paid separately under relevant items of this schedule.

Supply and fix in repairs loop type insulator porcelain vitreous white, brown or green with overall dimensions of 90X140 mm, clearance of hole25.5 mm complete all as specified and directed. Make : Jaipuria Brothers, Atlas, Bhel.

Supply and fix in repair overhead line PVC separators for two conductors system all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix in repair aluminium conductor, steel reinforced (ACSR) over head conductors weasel of size 6/1 x 2.59mm dia, drawn on existing HT/ LT poles, bringing the sag within limit fixing on Insulator/ cross arms by means of necessary binding with 16 SWG aluminium wire and providing alkathin pipe of approved quality for jumpers, reconnecting the service connections after removing the carbon material complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix in repairs for Earth wire, Cradles (hexagonal / rectangular) fabricated with galvanised steel wire 3.15 or 4mm dia complete all as specified and directed.

Labour for Restringing of LT over head line single ACSR conductor comprising of any size of conductor aluminium/copper/GI after opening binding wire from insulators and replace binding wire and achieved permissible sag limit of over head line conductor complete all as directed and specified. Note- Rate quoted by the contractor shall be deemed to include for cutting/trimming of tree branches wherever touching the over headline around one metre clear of over head line and removing trimmed branches as directed.

Taking down old unserviceable Street light fittings of any capacity and type in any position after disconnection of all electrical connections and stacking at site carefully for re-use all as specified and as directed.

Fixing only street light fittings removed against item Sl No 24 above of any capacity in any position fixed to pole/wall in same /other location as specified after carrying out necessary repairs including provision of 3 core flexible copper conductor cable 1.5 sqmm connected from overhead conductor to street light fitting and testing after completion all as specified and as directed Note: Spares will be measured and paid separately.
