BOQ (PERIODICAL CLEANING AND MAINT OF UG SUMPS, CANAL WATER DRAINS, OHT , STATIC WATER TANK, SWIMMING POOL AND MISC E/M WORKS AT AF STATION SURATGARH )

Dewatering the left over water from existing raw water storage tank No. 1 of storage capacity 5 Lacs gallons, having top plan size 44 x 44 metre bottom plan size 40 x 40 metre and depth 2.35 metre, desilting, sludge, silt, all accumulate material from the bottom and sides and removing to a distance not exceeding 50 metre from the outer perimetre of tank and depositing/spreading where directed by Engr-in-charge including preparation of surface by wire brushing and washing the surface with 2% potassium permanganate solution for disinfection and applying one coat of white wash including removal of roots and uprooting of grass etc. all around upto 3 metre from plinth of tank, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Notes : (i) Approximate depth of silt and left out raw water is approximately 50 cm. (ii) Quoted rate is inclusive of monor repair with PCC and plastering inside the tank.

Cleaning of overhead Reservoirs of capacity 50,000 gallon at 18 metre staging in two compartments by tank clean process as below :- (a) Mechanical removal of all remaining dirty water by capacity submersible pump. (b) Removal of sludge by vacuum operated pump. (c) Cleaning of walls, ceiling base by high pressure and scrapping, brushing ,brooming down and applying one coat of white wash as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. (d) Removing of all dirty particles by industrial wet vacuum cleaner leaving the tank 99.9% physical cleaned. (e)Deposited the sludge to a distance not exceeding 50 metre at the location intimated by Engineer-in-Charge (f) Sterilization of tank by eco-friendly degradable and highly effecting all pathogens agent of tank clean sterilization of tank atmosphere by industrial V.V radiator leaving the tank complete sterile and writing the date of cleaning with paint, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Notes: (i) All Safety measures for the safety of workmen shall be ensured by the contractor as work has to carried out at height specified in respestive items. Insurance of workers shall also be got done by the contractor before execution of these items. This aspect shall deemed to be included in quoted rates

Preparation of old painted surfaces of MS/CI pipes such as rising main, distribution mains, washout and over flow pipes,MS covers of valve pit and canal drains and painting with one coat of synthetic enamel paint, as per colour code given by the deptt , complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. (Note :- The rates includes for writing and marking description of pipes with white enamel paint)

Cutting and uprooting grass, vegetation shrubs, bushwood undergrowth, roots and trees not exceeding 30 cm girth (measure one metre above ground level) and removing rubbish to a distance upto 50 metres outside the periphery of the area,complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Cleaning and desilting of water channel from canal to raw water storage tanks of any cross section and shape. Taking out sludge including all accumulated material from bottom and sides of water channel by scrapping, brushing the water course, washing including white washing inner surface of water channel including removing excavated material to a distance not exceeding 50 metre and depositing where directed,complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note : The cross section of channel is 60 cm x 75 cm

Dewatering the left over water from existing floculator wash out tank having top plan size 12 x 12 metre bottom plan size 10 x 8 metre and depth 4.00 metre, desilting, sludge, silt, all accumulate material from the bottom and sides and removing to a distance not exceeding 50 metre from the outer perimetre of tank and depositing where directed by Engr-in-charge including preparation of surface by wire brushing and apply one coat of white wash, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge . Note :Approximate depth of silt 185 cm and depth of water approximately 100 cm.

Desilting, sludge, silt, slum and kai from bottom and outer sides of static water tank of capacity 50,000 gallons, by scrapping, brushing, brooming down, cleaning with water and applying one coat of white wash to inner surface and depositing sludge to a distance not exceeding 50 metre , complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Desilting, sludge, silt, slum and kai from bottom and outer sides of static water tank of capacity 10,000 gallons, by scrapping, brushing, brooming down, cleaning with water and applying one coat of white wash to inner surface and depositing sludge to a distance not exceeding 50 metre , complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Cutting the tree branches hanging over raw water UG sumps and water supply complex and depositing the tree branches /leaves at 500m distance away from the site , complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.. Note : Any number of tree branches out in one branch will be measured as one length for payment purpose, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Demolition of brick work or stone boulder masonry, built in cement mortar or cement lime mortar including all quoins, arches , pillars etc & removing debries out of MoD land, complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Brick work with sub class 'B' , straight or curved on plan not exc 6m mean raidus built in cement mortar 1:6 , complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Demolition of cement concrete (unreinforced) in ground floors and paving not exc. 15 cm thickness (below or above ground level), including removal of rubbish in low lying area, complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer in Charge.

Plain cement concrete (1:4:8), type D-2, using 40 mm graded mechanically crushed stone aggregates as in foundation, sub base flooring & mass concrete complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Plain cement concrete (1:3:6), type C-1, using 20 mm graded mechanically crushed stone aggregates as in foundation, sub base flooring & mass concrete complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and labour for plastring, Rendering 10 mm thick on fair faces of brick work of concrete surfaces 1:4 complete all as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Contract Amount shall be derived after affecting the amount of Schedule of Credit in General Summary on serial page No 16 of tender documents.
