JOB ORDER FOR CONSULTANCY SERVICES FOR SOIL INVESTIGATION FOR SPL REPAIRS TO ROAD INCL RETAINING WALL BETWEEN WELLINGTON LAKE AND SUPPLY DEPOT UNDER GE WELLINGTON FOR THE FY 2023-24

Mobilization of Machineries, Men, Tools and plants along with skilled work force inclusive of loading, transporting and unloading at the base camp inclusive of all incidental charges there on.To & Fro from the company shed.

Drilling 150mm diameter bore holes in all types of soils except boulders, weathered/hard rocks, conducting the following field and laboratory tests and furnishing the detailed report consisting of site plan showing the locations of the bore holes with bore logs, field & laboratory test results, recommendations for the depths & types of foundations and allowable safe bearing capacities / pile carrying capacities etc, all as per the procedures given in the relevant I.S codes. A) Field work : (i) Conducting standard penetration test at regular intervals of 1m upto 10m depth & of 1.5m interval in further depths and change of layers. (ii) Collecting disturbed soil samples in case of cohesionless soil layers and undisturbed soil samples in case of cohesive soil layers (the representative samples shall be at every 0.5m interval including the soil recovered from split spoon sampler. (iii) Observing and recording ground water table : 1 BH B) Laboratory Tests : (i) Grain size analysis, (ii) Atterberg’s Limits, (iii) Free swell test, (iv) Unit weight, (v) Water content, (vi) Shear test etc. Conducting tests as per A and B above upto 10m depth from the ground level or 3m into the very dense / very hard soil strata with consequetive three Successive N value more than 50, whichever is met earlier (if the observed N values equal / more than 50, the same shall be ascertained in further depths of minimum 3m at 1m intervals and if the observed N values are less than 50, the test shall be continued further depth up to the very dense / very hard strata.

Excavation of trail pit of size 1.2m x 1.2m x 3.0m depth in any type of soil all as specified and directed.

Analysis of field and laboratory tests results as per the relevant IS Code and Preparation of Geotechnical Report with appropiate foundation Recommendations with NABL Certification (National Accreditation ISO: 17025: 2005 Certified report) and with seal & Signature of Authorized Sr.Geotechnical Consultant.

TOPOGRAPHICAL SURVEY WORK Surveying and measuring boundary alignment.Taking topographical details like existing building alignment & offset and location of trees, trees coundting electric pole, septic Taking Spot level and road level @ 3meters interval. Preparation Contour interval 0.10mts.Establishing TBM Marking on the Permanent structure. Preparation of detailed drawing in AutoCAD with the surveyed data.Supplying 2nos. of color drawing in A0size and 2no. of soft copy of drawing with CD.
