SITE CLEARANCE & EARTHWORK

Removing excavated material (any type) and depositing it outside Ministry of Defence Land. Note for 16.001 (i) Before quoting the tender, the bidders are advised to ascertain the distance outside MD and, at which the excavated material/ debris are to be disposed off. No extra claim what-so-ever shall be entertained on this account. (ii) This item shall be considered as per the requirement at site. (iii) All excavation earthwork covered under Sch'A' part III to part XIV shall be measured and paid under this item.

DEMOLITION / DISMANTLING

Dismantling the old weigh bridge of 20T capacity carefully and shifting to a new location within campus of MO Ghatkopar and reinstalling the same on the newly constructed weigh bridge platform all as directed by Engineer in Charge. NOTES: a) Any damage to the dismantled weigh bridge occurred during dismantling or shifting is to be made good by contractor at no extra cost to Govt. b) Cost for equipment's/tools required for dismantling and reinstalling the weigh bridge shall be deemed to be included in the rate. c) Bidder should visit the site of work before quoting, accept the weigh bridge "as is where is" and shall ascertain requirement, replacement of spare parts, etc. for refixing nad made functional and quote his unit rate accordingly d) The cost of rectification of defects in the completed item of work, if any, shall also be deemed to be included in the quoted rate of this item e) No Claim whatsoever due to improper understanding of the scope of work shall be admissible.

S & F of orifice plate made out of 6 mm thick SS 304 with orifice of required size to be fitted between flange and landing valve of external and internal hydrants to reduce pressure at the outlet to the level of 3.5 kg/cm2 complete as specified and directed by the engineer-in-charge. c) Sign of size 150 mm X 600 mm, posted and maintained at each lift landing and on the side of the stairway door from which egress is to be made on every floor, indicating the lift / lift bank / stairway by an alphabetical letter in bold type and at 75 mm high letters in red and white background, securely attached to the side of the stairway door from which egress is to be made in a way that the bottom of the sign is not above 1.5 m from the finished floor level

NOTE:- (a) The contractor shall be responsible for periodical/routine maintenance, as per maintenance schedule recommended by manufacture / OEM, including renewal / replacement of parts, fittings / fixtures filling of refrigerant gas etc required for smooth functioning of the plant as per manufacturers instructions. The cost of all parts/component/Gas required for replacement are considered inclusive in quoted rate (b) The Contractor shall maintain proper records of all kinds of daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, half yearly and yearly or whatsoever maintenance is carried out during contract period in a binded book / register and shall obtain the signature of Engineer-in-Charge every fortnightly. (c ) In case of non function of Lift penal recovery @ 3000 per day shall be effected 24 hrs after the defect is noticed or notified either in writing or through a social media message by GE or his rep. (d) Any defect in to a Motor ,ARD ,OLD,door drive , senser , limit switch ,Rope/belt ,Control Panel ,car panel with indicators, air circulating fan, Led lights & Misc Item shall be considered as outstanding defect & Panel charge will be applicable as above in Note (c ) (e) The maintenance of lifts will be carried out through OEM only. Contractor other than OEM if become lowest and awarded contract shall enter into an agreement with OEM for carrying out maintenance of lifts though OEM and copy of the contract between OEM and contractor shall be submitted to concerned GE for ref and record.
