Comprehensive Annual Maintenance of Electrical Installation for the year 2019-20/2020-21 in CSIR-General Pool Staff Quarters premises at CLRI, Adyar, Chennai-600020.

PART-A Providing following manpower in item A & B to perform operation / scheduled activities of the electrical cum mechanical services for smooth operation of electrical installations of entire staff Quarters, KV&KG School , Dispensary and etc as mentioned in Annexure I (deploying manpower as specified at the timing specified by the Engg-in-charge) on all working days, including all holidays, sundays etc as required. The schedule of maintenance of electrical cum mechanical services to be carried out as per the specification as required. The Contractor shall carry out preventive maintenance such as cleaning of EMS items, checking for loose connections and tightening in DB panels without any extra cost.

SHIFT TIMING AND MAINTENANCE OF MAN POWER(365 Days): Working Timing (6:00 AM to 10:00 PM) One Qualified Electrician and One Helper per shift in all week days (365 days) Qualification Skilled: I.T.I (Electrician / Wireman or Diploma/B.E(E.E.E) Unskilled : Knowledge of Electrical field NOTE: FUSE OFF CALLS TO BE ATTENDED ROUND THE CLOCK ON EMERGENCY OCCASIONS as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

SHIFT TIMING AND LIFT MAN POWER (365 Days): Lift operator Working timing: (6:00 AM to 10:00 PM) Qualification Unskilled : Experience for Lift operation and Electrical field Three Lift operators per shift in all weekdays (365Days) Note: 1. Any fault occurred due to negligence of contractor then it is the responsibility of contractor to repair the same without any cost. Note: 2. The contractor shall register himself with Local Labour Licensing Authority and obtain Labour License Number in this regard. The payments towards the E.P.F& ESI shall be paid by the contractor directly to the concerned governing bodies as per existing rules. Note: 3.The proof of ESI & EPF payment have to be submitted by vendor at that time of Every Running bills or whenever demanded by CLRI office. Note: 4. The contractor shall provide additional manpower if more faults/ breakdown faults & emergencies occasion without any extra cost as directed by Engg-in-charge. Note: 5. The contractor shall provide uniform with displaying logo and company name in the uniform and Authorised ID card while on duty.

PART-B Attending all breakdown calls i/c arranging the following items/materials/spares and replacing the same i/c attending the daily faults received from the period of operation of common electrical services etc as required. Note 1: The items of work shall be carried out only for the recorded complaints (in complaint register) or as per the instructions of Engineer-in-charge/Authorised person by Engineer-in-charge. Note 2: The Contractor shall respond to any breakdown/ emergency calls from the Engineer-in-charge within a reasonable time (as decided by the Engineer-in-charge depending upon the degree of emergency) to analyse faults, failing which, department reserves right to meet the emergency situation with the help of other contractor at the risk and cost of the tenderer without any furthur notice.
