Comprehensive maintenance of DG sets for routine/preventive maintenance checks at least once in a month, checking up of engine and alternator for trouble free functioning and attending break downs/ complaints as and when required for smooth functioning. The comprehensive maintenance includes the following works:- (i) Cleaning of air filter (ii) Checking and adjusting of valve tappet clearance (iii) Checking of Engine lubrication system, fuel system, air system, cooling system, mechanical adjustments/rectification and electrical system (iv) Changing of lubricant oil filter if necessary (v) Changing/cleaning of fuel pre and fine filter (vi) Checking and tightening of bolts and nuts (vii) Checking of flexible rubber coupling (viii) Checking of charging system of the battery (ix) Checking of ‘V’ belt and adjusting the tension (x) Checking of exhaust turbo charger (xi) Checking of fuel injector (xii) Checking and cleaning of breather pipe (xiii) Checking of alternator terminals and cable lighteners etc (xiv) Checking of proper functioning of self starter and battery charging (xv) The capacity and location of DG sets for which comprehensive maintance to be carried over are as under:- Note :- 1. Contractor's has to attend the breakdown at any time during the contract period through skilled mechanic. 2. The rate quoted deemed to include all the minor spares such as screws, clips washers, distilled water, electrolyte etc

All as per Srl item No. 01 here-before for capacity of 2x 125 KVA DG set ( W/S No -2 & 173 MH).

All as per Srl item No. 01 here-before for capacity of 1x 100 KVA DG set ( STP No -2).

All as per Srl item No. 01 here-before for capacity of 5 x 63 KVA DG set (FASF, GE Office, Signal, MH & WS No. 1).

All as per Srl item No. 01 here-before for capacity of 1 x 50 KVA DG set ( STP No -1).

All as per Srl item No. 01 here-before for capacity of 1 x 40 KVA DG set (350KLD STP near 75 Med Regt).

All as per Srl item No. 01 here-before for capacity of 1 x 20 KVA DG set (ASC Butchery).

All as per Srl item No. 01 here-before for capacity of 2 x 15 KVA DG set ( MAP Pump house & IPS No -3).

All as per Srl item No. 01 here-before for capacity of 3 x 10 KVA DG set (IPS near 75 Med Regt, IPS near 102 Med Regt, 101 Med Regt KSP).

Supply and fix Fuel filter element (Primary & secondary) of any type/capacity complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply and fix Lube oil filter element of any type/capacity complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply and fix Air filter element (Inner and outer) of existing specification of DG set of any type/capacity complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for radiator anticorrosive coolant conditioner properly mixed up with the radiator water complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note : RV shall be prepared for supply and consumption and verified by audit.

Supply and filling engine oil 20W - 40 complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note : RV shall be prepared for supply and consumption and verified by audit.

Comprehensive maintenance of lead acid battery 6V/12V 90 AH - 130 AH including replacement of unserviceable spare parts i.e plate, stud, cell, elecrolite & distill water etc complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

All as per Srl item No. 16 here-before but 150 AH - 180 AH.

M & L for painting of DG set any capacity with two coats of superior quality synthetic enamel paint of approved colour and quality, complete on engine alternator assembly, foundation, diesel tank, silencer all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Repair/Replacement of Canopy door hinges complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply and fix canopy door glass suitable for 15/20/50/100/200 KVA DG Set complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Servicing testing of battery charging alternator 12 volts DC replacement the armature, shaft bush, carbon brush, bearing and electronic cut out, rectifier etc testing complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Dismantling, servicing and cleaning of exhaust silencer assy, decarbonising complete of any size of DG set complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Servicing ,calibration and testing of Fuel injector assembly including replacement of worn out parts barrels, plungers cups injector and commissining the same of any capacity of DG Set complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Servicing, repair and testing of self starter 12 volts replacement of defective armature, replacement of bendex pinion, clutch plate, carbon brushes, solenoid switch etc complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply and fix Oil temparature guage for repair/servicing of DG set of any capacity under respective item of BOQ described here in before complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

S & F in replacement of on load change over switch, four pole 63 Amps, SS enclosure etc complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

S & F in replacement of on load change over switch, four pole 200Amps, SS enclosure etc complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

S & F in replacement of on load change over switch, four pole 160Amps, SS enclosure etc complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply and Fixing copper enamelled wire alternator assembly compact type / open type DG set for rewinding of main field coil, rotor, exicitor coil, armature of any type and any size of copper enamel wire including lumex paper, glass wire and any minor defect of alternator any capacity and size of alternator including other charges / minor required of items capacity 200/125 / 100 / 63 /70 /40 / 35/ 15 or if any size of alternator DG set complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note : Cost of copper wire including lumex paper, glass wire, cotton tap , varnish etc will be deemed to be included in the unit rate of this item.

Only labour charge for dismantling of alternator, rewiding of alternator main field coil, rotor, exicitor coil, armature of any type including transportation, minor other repairs and assembly of alternator after repair with alignment rotor with shaft and coupling and others all accessories for Capacity 125/100 KVA providing necessary electrical connections including connecting earthing strip of capacity 125 / 100 KVA complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note : Copper enamelled rate should be measure and paid for separately with glass wire, insulation / cotton tape and varnish.

Only labour charge for dismantling of alternator, rewiding of alternator main field coil, rotor, exicitor coil, armature of any type including transportation, minor other repairs and assembly of alternator after repair with alignment rotor with shaft and coupling and others all accessories for Capacity 63/70 KVA providing necessary electrical connections including connecting earthing strip of capacity 63 / 70 KVA complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note : Copper enamelled rate should be measure and paid for separately with glass wire, insulation / cotton tape and varnish.

Only labour charge for dismantling of alternator, rewiding of alternator main field coil, rotor, exicitor coil, armature of any type including transportation, minor other repairs and assembly of alternator after repair with alignment rotor with shaft and coupling and others all accessories for Capacity 50/40/20 KVA providing necessary electrical connections including connecting earthing strip of capacity 50/40/20 KVA complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note : Copper enamelled rate should be measure and paid for separately with glass wire, insulation / cotton tape and varnish.

Only labour charge for dismantling of alternator, rewiding of alternator main field coil, rotor, exicitor coil, armature of any type including transportation, minor other repairs and assembly of alternator after repair with alignment rotor with shaft and coupling and others all accessories for Capacity upto 15 KVA providing necessary electrical connections including connecting earthing strip of capacity upto 15 KVA complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note : Copper enamelled rate should be measure and paid for separately with glass wire, insulation / cotton tap and varnish. Note :- A Sum of Rs. 95,576.00 will be deducted on account of credit for dismantling/demolished/taking down material. Please refer detail on srl page No 19 (Schedule of credit) of Tender Documents.
