M&L for Dismantling the water mains from the delivery lines, lifting/taking up GI/CI column pipes, pumping sets of any description upto 200 mtr depth including submersible cable after disconnecting pumping sets from cable, repair to the defective submersible cable and jointing of submersible cable, pump and motors by using water proofing jointing kit and also jointing of crack/leaked GI pipe with MS sheet jointing clamp, rubber sheet, nut, bolts and washer etc replacement of defective column pipes and including Lowering of submersible pump sets, submersible cable, column pipes, reconnecting main delivery mains as existing and testing for satisfactory running and continuous flow of water etc in bore wells at various locations complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge. Note: 1 Repair to Motor & Pumping sets, cable and column pipes etc. shall be measured and paid separately. 2. Contractor shall take proper precautions while lifting out and removing pump set from bore well so as to avoid any damage to column pipe and submersible cable and if any damage contractor shall be liable to repair or replace by contractor at his own cost. 3. All necessary T&P and equipments required for lifting out and lowering pump set etc shall be arranged by the contractor at his own cost.

Dismantling and strip opening of submersible pump & motor of any description and in any position for servicing /overhauling, cleaning, oiling/greasing, fixing of serviceable parts in position, removing & replacement of defective / unserviceable parts with new parts and reassembling the pump and motor, ensuring proper alignment of pump and motor, fixing in position, connecting to existing system and testing at site on full load to the entire satisfaction of the Engr-in-Charge for 30 HP, three phase, 415 Volts, 50 Hz, AC supply capacity pumps & motors :- Note: - (i) The replacement of defective / unserviceable parts shall be measured and paid separately as “Supply only” under appropriate item of Sch ‘A’ and fixing rate for new items are deemed to be included under this item. (ii) Burnt out windings of motor shall be replaced, measured and paid separately under appropriate item of Sch ‘A’ for rewinding. (iii) The rates for above items are deemed to be included transportation of pumps/ motors to and from workshop as approved by Engineer-in-charge for necessary repairs, alignment and testing of pump and motors at authorised workshop. (iv) Re-metalling to Pump shaft, polishing, grinding and making standard size to matching with Gun Metal Bush / Neck-ring shall be measured and paid for separately under appropriate items. (v) Lifting of pump and motor from bore well and lowering of pump and motor after repairs shall be measured and paid separately under appropriate items.

Taking out and removing old burnt out windings of the submersible/Non clog submersible electric motors of any description and in any position of 30HP, three phase, 415 Volts, 50 Hz, AC supply, capacity and rewinding of submersible electric motors with existing size PVC insulated, copper conductor as approved by the Engineer-in-charge including cleaning the slots with carbon-tetra-chloride solution before rewinding and testing on full load etc complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge. Note: (i) The winding wire shall be of make ATLAS or FINOLEX (ii) The rate quoted by the contractor shall be deemed to be included the cost of fixing, lowering in position and transportation from site to authorised workshop and back.
