Repair maint to internal roads in Beas Jandiala Guru APS and ADVS of Mil Stn Beas under GE Kapurthala

Amount

Scarifying or picking gravelled, macadam or bituminous macadam surfaces in area exc 400 Sqm and depth exceeding 50mm and not exc 100 mm deep including removal of rubbish material, grass roots, dust by brush not exceeding 50 m. Complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-In-Charge.

Material & Labour for preparing unsurfaced water bound macadam surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt and applying evenly a priming/tack coat with paving bitumen VG-10 at the rate of 10 Kg per 10 Sqm of road surface. Complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-In-Charge.

M&L for premix bituminous macadam laid, rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber (consolidated thickness 75mm or less) with paving bitumen VG-30 any penetration @ 4% by weight of total mix laid rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient with 8 to 12 tonne power road roller. Complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-In-Charge.

M&L for applying evenly a priming/tack coat with paving bitumen VG-10 at the rate of 10 Kg per 10 Sqm on bitumen macadam road surface and laying, rolling, consolidating 30 mm thick (consolidated thickness) bituminous premixed asphaltic semi dense concrete with 5.5% binder content (VG-30) by weight of total mix laid with mechanical paver roller and compacted to required camber and gradient and rolled with pressure roller and 8 to 10 tonne power road roller to achieve a uniform smooth surface with Pneumatic vibratory roller. Complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-In-Charge. Note:- Mix shall be prepared in Hot mix plant as per job mix formula obtained from authorised testing lab and laying will be done by mechanical paver.

M&L for preparing existing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud, grass & grass roots from road surfaces etc sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt and applying evenly a priming/tack coat with paving bitumen VG-10 at the rate of 5 Kg per 10 Sqm of road surface, laying, rolling, consolidating 30mm thick (consolidated thickness) bituminous premixed asphaltic semi dense concrete with 5.5% binder content (VG-30) by weight of total mix laid with mechanical paver roller and compacted to required camber and gradient and rolled with pressure roller and 8 to 10 tonne power road roller to achieve a uniform smooth surface with Pneumatic vibratory roller. M&L for repair to pot holes any depth not exceeding 1 Sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water scoring sunken surfaces in road path etc cutting around edges, at least 25mm in depth and making good by applying tack coat using paving bitumen VG-10 @ 5 Kg per 10 Sqm, putting in semi dense asphaltic concrete well rammed and sealed with binder using paving bitumen @ 9.8 Kg per 10 Sqm blinded with 0.09 cum stone chipping 6.3mm size and again well rammed (including supply of premixed macadam binder and chippings) and compacted to required gradient with 8 to 12 tonne power road roller, depth of pot hole exceeding 30mm. Complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-In-Charge.

M&L for preparing bituminous surfaces of road and marking 2.5mm thick centre lines, stop lines, dashes, arrows etc. and the line n. exc 10cm wide on roads pavements with hot applied thermo plastic road marking paint of approved colour confirming to BS-3262-1989 with special applicator machine all as per manufacturers instruction and accordance with manufacturers specifications. Make of paint :- 3M/VERTEX/JCC. complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-In-Charge.

Surface excavation as in road berm, not exceeding 30cm deep and averaging 15cm deep and getting out in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Removing excavated materials (soil) of road berm, not exceeding 50m and depositing where directed of a level not exceeding 1.5m above the starting point, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for filling good earth as in road berm, spreading in layers not exceeding 30 cm thick; watering, ramming/rolling and finishing to required size, shape, etc., not exceeding 1.5m high from base, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply and fixing in repair solar cat eye aluminum alloy shall (100% water proofing design according to 65) of size 125mm x 125mm x 25mm (shank 65mm) of high efficiency Mono rystafie solar panel 2.4V/ 0.3 watt one NI-ed rechargeable battery (1.2V/ 1600MA) consisting of super bright LED with 10,000 to 18,000 mcd completed as per manufactures instructions etc. complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-In-Charge.

Supply and fixing in repair cat eye solar reflective type of metal body alloy of size 100mm x 100mm x 20mm with PAMA striplens reflector of model No. DA 972.0 fixed with and incl MS stud of suitable size as per manufactures instructions. etc. Complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-In-Charge.

Supply and fixing in repair metal tubular dealineator made out of ABS round body fitted with 2 Nos 65 mm dia highly reflective reflectors made out of PMMA and mounted on 45/50 mm dia mild steel pipe of 600 mm height duly powder coated and thermo plastic elastomer 3 bands of green, red and yellow reflector radium tape of 25 mm wide strips with anti theft steel net for reflector protection including embedding in PCC 1:2:4 (150x150x300mm) type B1.Complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-In-Charge.

Supply & Fixing in repair solar road delineator 6 LEDs of colour red/yellow housed in plastic body. LEDs , solar-cells, battery and light sensor well protected inside polycarbonate sheet; device protected with powder coated wire mesh cage. System mounted over 47mm dia steel tube powder coated of length 1000mm having sheet foot for firm grip to gound. System workable for 2-3 days (nights) after full charge for 8-10 hours.Complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-In-Charge.

Supply and fixing informatory name board of size 1200 mm x 900 mm made of Aluminium sheet 2mm thick with stainless steel rectangular frame using 25 x 15 mm rectangular pipe with 35mm dia stainless pipe in outer boarder all around retro reflective high intensity 400 micron thick blue colour sheet pasted with heating process on both sides of the board including 75 mm to 100 mm high white colour letters cut to shape with special plotter and in proper manner indicating location / instruction / information / slogan as directed by Engineer-in-charge . 02 Nos 75 mm dia stainless steel pipes of 304 grade glossy finish with MS plate 6 mm thick welded at bottom of pipes shall be provided. the board shall be fixed at height of 3.00 m (Top level of board) above GL and shall be embedded ib ground using PCC 1:2:4 type B-1 of min. size 300mm x 300 mm x 600mm including necessary form work, excavation and earth work complete all as specified and directed.

Supply & Fixing in repair Duel-directional speed breaker having high intensity cube corner reflector firmly bonded to high impact resistant plastic body of colour yellow and black of size 250x350x50mm (height) provided with 4 steel nails. Shape of side body to have interlocking pattern to keep all speed breakers in a row.Complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-In-Charge.
