Excavating in trenches, not exceeding 1.5 m wide and not exceeding 1.5 m in depth for laying of cables, pipes etc. and getting out including trimming the sides and forming bottom surfaces to required levels in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and directed.

Supplying, transporting, erecting and fixing Steel tubular swaged poles type 410 SP-31 ( 9.0 metres long) complete with cast iron base plate, finial, taper plug, bolts, nuts and screws as specified, including necessary excavation and earth work , PCC 1:4:8 type D2 in foundations below pole, PCC 1:3:6 type C2 around poles and PCC 1:3:6 type C1 as in plinth block , disposal of surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50 m and depositing where directed, painting steel tubular poles exposed surafces with Aluminium paint two coats over one coat of red oxide primer and providing 300 mm wide bands (3 bands/ straps with synthetic enamel paint and 2 bands with Black bituminous paint ) from plinth block and numbering of poles , painting embedded portion of poles with one coat of bituminous paint including taking down of old pole complete all as specified and directed. Note -Old pole will be deposited in MES store yard

M&L Earthing complete with galvanised mild steel earth plate electrode 600x600x6.0mm thick, burried directly in ground to a depth not less than 2.25 metres deep below ground level with top edge of earth plate not less than 1.5 metre below normal ground level surrounded with adequate quantity of charcoal dust mixed with salt to a packed thickness of 15 cm all around the plate, using GI strip 32 x 6 mm as earth strip electrode bolted or rivetted to earth plate at one end and connected to equipments at another end, GI earth strip encased in and including 40 mm dia GI 'light grade' pipe from upper end of earth plate upto equipments,20 dia bore GI pipe 'light grade' as water pipe from earth chamber to upper edge of earth plate, Test point , GI funnel with wire mesh fixed on water pipe and PCC 1:2:4 type B-1 (using 20mm graded stone aggregate) as in pit chamber and RCC pit cover 50mm thick precast RCC 1:2:4 type B-1, duly reinforced with MS TMT bars 8mm dia @ 100 c/c both ways with 10mm dia MS round bar as in lifting handles, excavation, earth work including laying the GI pipe concealed in floor/wall all as described in electric plate of SSR Part I complete all as specified and directed and testing on completion.
