Surface excavation not exceeding 30 cm deep and averaging 15 cm deep and getting out in hard/dense soil, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5 mtr wide & not exceeding 1.5 mtr in depth as in foundation, drains, laying/taking out pipes or cables etc, or for shaft, well, cesspits, manholes, pier holes, etc. not exceeding 10 Sqm on plan and not exceeding 1.5 mtr in depth and getting out in hard/dense soil, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. .

Returning, filling in including spreding, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm thick each layer in any type of soil complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Removal of excavated soil to a distance not exceeding 50 mtr and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 mtr above the starting point, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M & L for Plain Cement concrete, 1:4:8, type D-2, (using 40 mm graded mechanically crushed stone aggregates) as in foundations, fillings and mass concrete, etc. complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for Precast cement concrete, 1:3:6 (type C-1) (using 20mm graded mechanically crushed stone aggregate) block mansonry with solid blocks, exceeding 10cm width and set in cement mortar 1:6 complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M & L for Plain cement concrete (Cast-in-situ) 1:2:4, type B-1, (using 20 mm graded mechanically crushed stone aggregates) as in lintels upto 1.5m clear span, cills, steps; seismic and other similar bands, plinth courses, string courses, lacing courses, parapets and railings upto 60 cm in height, copings, kneelers, apex stones, bed plates, kerbs, water troughs and the like including weathering, slightly rounded or chamfered angles and throating, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note: Any formwork required in this work shall deemed to be included in quoted rates.

M&L for Mild steel TMT bars 10mm dia and over, cut to length, bent to shape required, including cranking, bending, hooking ends and binding with and including mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9mm dia or securing with clips, etc complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for Mild steel TMT bars 5mm dia and over upto and including 10mm dia as in stirrups, spacers and binders, cut to length, bent to shape required, including cranking, bending, hooking ends and binding with and including mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9mm dia or securing with clips, etc complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Use & waste formwork to sides of concrete foundation, footings, bases of columns, raft and raft beams, sides & soffits(if any) of foundation & plinth beams and similar work; vertical or to batter for rough finished flat surfaces of concrete etc complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for Reinforced cement concrete, M-30 (Design mix) (using 20mm graded mechanically crushed stone aggregate) as in foundations, including raft, footings, foundation beams, plinth beams; bases for columns, basement slab and mass concrete etc complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note: Formwork & reinforcement shall be measured and paid separately.

S&F Mild steel bolts purpose made with hexagonal or square head one end and screwed the other, or screwed both ends; each screwed end to be fitted with washers and one hexagonal or square nut exceeding 30cm long and dia of neck exceeding 12 mm but not exceeding 20 mm complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for 10 mm thick rendering in cement mortar 1:6 on fair face of brickwork or concrete surfaces as in wall, finished even & smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for preparation of newly plastered/concrete surfaces and applying three coats of white wash as in wall, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M & L for Hardcore of broken stone or boulders of guage not exceeding 63mm, deposited, spread and levelled in layers not exceeding 15 cm thick, watered and rolled/rammed to a true surface complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

M & L for 75mm thick, Plain cement concrete, type C-2, 1:3:6 (using 40 mm graded mechanically crushed stone aggregate) laid in slope as in plinth protection, finished the surface even and smooth without using extra cement including making expansion joints filled with bitumen mastic filling consisting of 85/25 bitumen and sand in the ratio of 1:1 complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

S&F for rolled mild structural steel work as in tubular trusses including special shaped washer etc. complete using ERW or induction butt welded tubes conforming to IS 1161-1979 grade St.-240, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

S&F Pre-painted galvalume aluminum zinc coating GI based corrugated steel sheet 0.50mm thick of any colour having tensile strength of 550 Mpa as in roof covering/cladding to wall, fixed with self tapping screws as specified, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

S&F mild steel work as in half round or other steel section or core for wooden hand-rail straight portion, drilled and countersunk for balusters running bars, for doors, balusters, nosing to steps including embeding in concrete and screwing etc. wind ties for roof including securing bolts; posts and struts in fencing including cutting tops to shape as directed, drilling holes, notching for wire, etc.; flat iron fillets (for securing wire mesh etc.) including all necessary drilling, bolting or riveting, etc., and similar work conforming to Fe-290 Gde E-165 complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for preparation of new or previously untreated steel surfaces of any description not exceeding 10 cm in width or girth, when unconnected with other painting or when painted in a different tint and applying two coats synthetic enamel paint over & including a coat of redoxide primer, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M & L for 150mm thick, Plain cement concrete, 1:5:10, type E-2 (using 40mm graded mechaniacally crushed stone aggregates) as in sub base of floors, finished the surface even and rough to receive top layer of floors, etc complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M & L for 100mm thick, Plain cement concrete, 1:2:4, type B-2 (using 40mm graded mechaniacally crushed stone aggregates) as in topping layer of floors, finished the surface even and fair complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L forming 12 mm thick Expansion joints filled with pre-formed bituminous filler and top 30 mm primed and sealed with Grade ‘A’ sealing compound, for 100 mm thick concrete slab complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for point wiring ( as per IS colour coding) with multi-stranded copper conductor FRLS, PVC insulated, unsheated 1.5 sqmm (nominal area) cable, 1100 volt grade in & including heavy duty PVC rigid non metallic casing caping (not less than 25mm width) (ISI marked) on wall with all fittings / accessories and including 1.5 sqmm (nominal area) FRLS PVC insulated copper earth wire connected to common earth dully including wall mounted non metallic terminal boxes of suitable size for mounting switches, sockets etc with 3mm thick plastic laminated sheet cover for one light point/fan point/bell point controlled by one switch, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note:- The cost of Cutting / Chasing & making good the disturbed surface wherever required for conduit & sinking of boxes shall deemed to be included in quoted rates.
